Cars with unusual traits

The NA Miata's another one of them. Other than that, I don't recall any other cars with turbocharger and supercharger options, but that can't be. Does anyone know any other cars that offer both? I'd genuinely like to know.

All the premium and standard RX-8's, except the concepts and LM versions, also offer the option to fit both.

Dont know if anyone said this. The primium renualt megane has no exterior shadow just a shadow of tge driver in the seat.

The newer lancer evos have (or can have) AYC installed on them. This is the only car ive ever seen AYC on and it helps a lot.

Has anyone noticed all the crazy spikes and crap all over the Toyota Celica Rally Car (the standard one)? It's currently in the OCD. It has like a luggage rack or something on the back and I can't tell what else. Antennae or something.

Those are mounts for a spare tire. I dont remember if it was there for 4 or not but 3 had it mounted on.

Only the ST185 (GT3) has the Tire Mounts. The ST205 (GT4) has never had one because its tire is actually in the trunk.

It's a "Safari Rally' modified car. Not sure why these types of rally cars have a tube near the windshield and often the tire on the roof or rear window...

Easy access I think.

Btw I was looking through some of the earlier posts and I noticed someone mentioned the RUF CTR Yellowbird's license plate MNP911. I wonder if anyone knows why this particular car is so famous.

According to my 5 seconds of research online, someone posted the following to another forum:

"Yellowbirds license plates are always MNP911."

If that information is incorrect, I humbly apologize.

Pretty sure you're wrong with that, as 30 seconds into the first Yellow bird vid I found, it proves that statement wrong..

There is only 1 Yellow Bird out of 29(?) real CTRs. It was the nickname given to the yellow CTR press car. It was sent to a top speed competition in 1987 run by Road and Track magazine. The Yellow Bird beat out the Ferrari F40 (and others) and became the fastest road car in the world with a top speed of 211.5 mph.

Its also famous because of this promo movie:

👍

That's for when they drive through relative deep water sections and to avoid water from entering the engine which it would do through the normal vents.

Cruising the LFA yesterday, I noticed a minor bug on the dashboard of it.
The digital speedometer shows 89km/h while you drive that speed correctly, but when your speed raises to exactly 90km/h, the digital number says 80km/h. As soon as you're on 91km/h or higher the digital number is correct again. Probably just a typo in program code or something, I wonder if there are similar small bugs in other cars with the speed shown digitally inside.

Found one today, the Toyota Corolla Runx. Slightly higher bhp from the supercharger than the S3 turbo too.

Speaking of cars that can be super or turbocharged, the '98 Alfa Romeo 156 and '02 Nissan Cube are two more of these. Both get more horsepower from turbos, but the Cube gets more torque with the supercharger.

The Toyoty FT-86 G Sports concept has a map of the racetrack you are racing on, under the revcounter.
I noticed that in a time attack race on the Trial Mountain Circuit. I saw the map on the display.
that's a cool feature I think...

I believe thats on the original FT-86 concept as well.

The fact that that when driving a Spec-V R35 the drivers hand goes right through the steering wheel to upshift or downshift with the paddle shifter and personally it's kinda weird :odd::boggled:

Think thats more of an animation bug than a cars trait.

Then a weird trait might go to the fact that some standard cars have a rear interior view while others (Veyron im looking at you) don't have them
