Cars with unusual traits

Haha so true!
A friend of mine has the Miura horn on his 125 SPL Kart, and MAN that's annoying...
"Ble-UUUUUUUHHHHHHHH!!" (Miura's horn).

The Mazda Autozam's horn is equally as annoying.

Not sure if this has previously been mentioned but the badge on the back of the Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR ’08 lights up along with the brake lights when you, errrr... brake.
Happens on every non racecar coupe Viper in the game. Probably on the Oreca Viper as well.

It's a classic defining thing about the car, serves as the third brakelight (Loopholes).

The Infiniti Coupe Concept ’06 does not have side-view mirrors (the mountings are there, but there’s nothing mounted) nor windshield wipers. The front and rear lights also reflect blue for some reason. It looks neat. :) (Only reason I got it, frankly.) In the rain, it has a magic water-repelling windshield (the same as non-windshield windows in Premium cars, and all windows in Standard cars), in lieu of windshield wipers.

As mentioned, the Chevrolet Camaro Z28 ’69 has a working clock in the middle of the dashboard, showing the current course’s sky time. However, at least for me, it always shows one hour ahead (for example, set the course to 10:00 and it shows 11:00), like it’s always on Daylight-Saving Time.

The Volvo C30 R-Concept comes with a 5-speed transmission, but you can buy either a 5-speed or 6-speed “close ratio” transmission (most cars have only one or the other, not both). If you equip the 6-speed (or fully-custom one) and go into 6th gear, the dashboard gear display reads “D” instead of “6”.

Strange.

Don't know if this has been mentioned before. I always forget to post this.

The premium Volvo has pressure dimming brake lights. The harder you push the brakes the brighter the brake lights get.

The Ferrari F1 cars have working reflectors like in real-life F1. When raining, the rear reflector flashes. Very nice touch for a car that's rarely used. :)

I forget, does this happen on both the F2007 and F10?

Yep both have working reflectors. The standard model F2007 however does not have a working reflector.

Oh ok. Yeah I figured the standard version wouldn't.

It also works on night tracks if I recall.

Putting a spoiler in the GT-R R34 doesn't change anything. It only gives you the ability to adjust the rear aerodynamic. I think (but I'm not sure) that the RX-7 Spirit R Type A also has this unusual feature.

I do know that these cars have adjustable spoilers in real life, but it's weird that in GT5 you have to pay for the right to adjust it :P

It adds a small gurney flap on the spoiler which increases downforce.
Like this.

Which is odd considering (if I remember) the Formula GT has a working light in Rain and night :odd:
Rear light yes, but no other lights than that.

Freaking scary at the Ring at night :scared:

That's what I was talking about.

Besides, there's a reason why there has never been a F1 race on the Nordschleife at night ;)

So those are reflectors :ouch:

The ring at night in an FGT was product of my deepest and darkest horrible ideas/desires one day while tracking on the Ring with a fellow GTP'er. I didn't make it past turn 1 without confusing my way into a wall :ouch:.

No driving line of course.

I still wouldnt call it a trait... Still more of a glitch/bug than a trait.

Haha I remember in GT3 in replays the 206 Rally Car had a glitch that prevented the car from being viewed in chase cam.

Lexus ISF RM '07 has a messed up rear view when in interior view. Looking back shows a massive roll cage completely obscuring your view.

Not so much an unusual trait as minor oversight, but the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 and it's GTO counterpart lack the active spoiler and, so far as I can tell, the all-wheel steering. Which is a shame really. Those features definitely made the car unique among it's peers.
edit: Whoever gets post 900, I'll hate you forever.
Mwahahaha!:P
