Cars you miss from GT1-3, and hope will be in GT5

yes the w8 vector killed nearly everything :) bring it backkkk and also how could i forget the cerbera/chaser racers :/ shocking >.<

The DR30 Skyline Silouete Formula Killed everything in GT2.This would be great in GT5.
Yeah, that car was amazing, I dont like skylines very much, but this one is a exception. As far as I can remember its top speed was rather low with normal transmission settings (315km/H) but its acceleration and its cornering was unbelievable fast. I wish they would bring back every car the have missed from GT1 to GT4. I cant think of any of that ''lost'' cars that should not appear in GT5

Great 80's race car.

-> I also miss the monotone paint scheme (ie. without stripes) on the Viper GTS:

And why in GT4, the blue/white stripe was not an option? It is arguably the most popular paint job for the car. I also miss the white/blue striped LM Viper.

And I want those Vectors and Venturis back! And the Shelby GT500. Let's not forget the Copperhead. Or the Mini. GT-One road car was cool, too.

:grumpy:

Well, before I say anything, the Corvette Grand Sport and the Plymouth GTX are in Gran Turismo 4...

I never saw the GTX!? The only Plymouths were the Cuda and the Superbird.

But anyways, I would like to see all the american cars that were in GT2 that never surfaced again.

i had a sub 10.5 sec time with the 180SX and a sub 9 sec run with the R33 so im with michael88 those 2 need to be in GT5

^ Alrighty! Thanks! (:

-> I also miss the highly tuned (and very purple) Dodge Copperhead (aka.Concept Car), I call it Papel it means paper in Tagalog.

- 500+ HP
- it tips when it hits the curb
- the revs shakes when it goes uphill
- not for sale, you can only win it
- its driftable
- it flies when its on a steep bump (like in Trial Mountain)
- and its Purple :dopey:

Also the Pulsar/Sunny GTi-R, there will be many others if I think about it.

@ VIPERGTSR01,

isn't that Skyline available in GT4? If not, whats the difference between it and the syklines available in GT4?

Nah it's not. All GT4 R33 Skylines are GTR's.

They have the R32 GTSt and GTS25 and R34 Blitz GTt 4door (sadly no standard nissan version though), all the rest R32-4 are different variations of GTR's.

I can't remember if this was the car in GT3 but if it was I'd definitely like to see this one:

Is that picture too big? If so I can change it to the thumbnail.

^ Yup, the R33 GTS25t Type-M wasn't in GT4. (:

-> I think this car is on GT4:

I sorely miss the Team Oreca Viper GTS-R '99 from GT2, the Venturi Atlantique 600GT LM, Vector LM and the Mazda FD A-Spec cars.

I really think that for a car wishlist for GT5, they should try and make some sort of thread where theres just one big list that everyone adds to, instead of everyone adding cars in new posts, thus virtually eliminating repeats.

^ But unfortunately, the dude who holds the rights to the GT5 car wishlist (German Muscle), is no show/no go. I've been idling with my wishlist for quite sometime now. And I can't do anything without affirmative action from his thread. :indiff:

It should go without saying, I think GT has a tradition of covering Skylines as much as possible without creating an entirely separate section in Nissan for them. I'm all for adding more..once other countries and manufacturers are properly represented.
