all DTM based cars are cleared to run, well modern ones anyway, we did have the merc evolution II and the alfa eligable but they just didn't meet the current spec,
I don't want to see the A4 go to pasture, but I don't want to use it either, It drives the same as the TT, but doesn't have the straight line poke,

well, I could deal with it until I dug deeper, then worked out that the CLK is faster then Spaz in the TT with a set up, his lap time wasn't to shabby, but then the CLK can maintain 14kph more speed through the final turn at the high speed ring, with no aero, and blitz it,
I'd be up for another race, perhaps the street circuit?

I figured the CLK would corner better with its higher downforce numbers, but higher mph with extra downforce is just retared after the 2.08 update. Thumbs up to slowing it down. I checked some other DTM series, and they had to slow them down too.

check these joe, I did them offline prior to the update, all cars were running their base power and weight for stock, the setup lap time included 80kgs ballast,
I believe the audi's and the opel were between 470 and 480 bhp, and 1000kgs, the mercedes was 443bhp at 1080kgs, but as you can see from my research it did stuff all

To answer that question we'll have to go back to basics: the original idea was having one team per car, e.g. 2 CLK. Along the "real" DTM there should've been a "Legends of DTM" with the old cars. But that lead to 2 problems:
1: Specs
The old car were much more like 4wd F1's in a box which would lead to problems making it equal, also because the old Mercedes didn't have much of the tech that the Calibra and Alfa has, and
2: Popularity
The old cars never had a team signing up, so in the end it folded and turned into this.
I'll try to have a preseason soon where we'll just do short races and find out how much -hp the CLK should have (still think it's ridiculous it's not fixed)

they're the level tickets that you get when you win A or B spec offline races, I'm not sure if they can be attained from the online events, Basically it is in the car delivery section, it will say something like, GIFT CAR LEVEL 20 ticket, there is a big but!!!
its the luck of the draw that you get the car you desire, so you can have 15 tickets and get the same car 4 times, I know this, I have 3 toyota Minolta's and 4 Panoz Esperente GT-1 thanks to the ticket system,
Just be careful advertising on thread gift car/ car exchange threads for this ticket, read the OP carefully as some people will request cash in exchange for the ticket, while others are just generous giver's and are just there to help people out,
