Championship cancelled due to parents, extremely slow internet..

Well your not australian lol, nor would have the australian F3 series been on international t.v lol, I can't even find the races I did on youtube, lol, I don't even have footage lol and I used the champcar style in helmet camera at oran park and phillip island lol, and they were the only 2 races I did in F3 lol even though I did numerous test session for it and formula ford, and V8 supercar laps etc, there's not much down under that I haven't driven lol, even a top fuel drag car, that was intense

I watched an Aussie V8s race, and heard your name. They were discussing the F3 results, and saying that you might get an Aussie V8s seat or something. I can't remember exactly.

Yea in the olden days lol, well that's ten years ago now lol, but money talks and I spent it all lol, well that and the fact of within a week I lost 3 friends, 1 to heart problems and 2 in a car accident trying to get to his funeral, I reacted in a way to which would have destroyed anyone except, the rolling stones, alice cooper etc and well professionalism went out the window and eventually got brushed aside, stupid choices and decisions, but I took some time off to reflect and revive, did some interesting jobs, owned some businesses, gonna see how things pan out this month with the commodore, go to bathurst, for a holiday or work, "already booked on the hill if I don't get the job" lol, see some old faces and have a chat with some people, then come back home and get in shape for next year, I'm building my own muscle car master lol a 5 series bmw, expected to be 500bhp at 900kgs, I was hopeing to have it built for bathurst this year but my motor isn't built yet, waiting on a new brake components from germany which were discontinued 15 years ago, plus. The engine isn't built and the roll cage isn't in yet, so I've missed the boat lol, but I'm gonna have one final go at getting in a V8 supercar for 2013,

Good luck. Maybe some day, I'll race against you for real. :sly: We'll see how my career up north turns out.

Well the good thing for V8s is a new build design next year, who knows if things go well for you and you get into endurance racing you could be scouted, but take it from me, we have the 2 most scariest and unbelievably fun race tracks in the world here, t.v doesn't do it justice, just how much height change there is a bathurst and phillip island,

I'd actually be more timid of Surfer's Paradise. I've never been perfect with millimeter precision. I do okay, when I'm really in the groove, but, I leave a bit too much room at apex in autocross, I think. I've never hit a cone in all of my time in Autocross.

Surfers looks more scary then it is, I drove an F3 there in a test session, the thing with australian roads is that they are arched so the sides of the roads are lower then the middle for drainage, that makes almost every corner cambered in, hence all the overtaking, plus the drivers are instructed to use all the road on those chicanes, but they don't run the full indy circuit anymore for some stupid reason, adelaide gives you more a scare, turn 8 isd taken flat out in an F3, well not anymore, F3 drivers were told to take it in 5th gear at no more 7 thousand rpm after ashley cooper died in a V8 supercar, but like dale earnhardt and ayrton senna it was just bad luck that did it, same with mark porter at bathurst,

Wow. You guys can add a fan :)

Been doing some early testing at GVE in the BMW this weekend. I've got a time of 1:02.623. Still waiting for my engine to break in though. I'm really liking the car though. :)

I think ultimate power is 443bhp what's the weight?

I'll be checking the hp and weight of all cars later today and will make a temporary spec from that

Opel Astra, Mercedes CLK, and Audi cars are 1000 kg., and 463-483 (without turbos)

As for the M3, I don't quite know.

NizmoDr3
I vote NO TURBOS ...

Turbo will not be necessary :) I'm trying to Keep the cars as close to real as possible. More info on hp and kg to follow..

The best way to tell who's got turbos, is in the replay; there will be a turbo gauge that shouldn't otherwise be there.

That will be the way to do for me, yes

W.I.P. Spec:

Current DTM:
About 420 hp (depending on what online room settings can be)
1150 kg

Legends of DTM:
380 hp
1100 kg

The audi's already have turbo"s I believe,

I don't remember if they do or not. But at the spec we'll run I doubt a turbo will make the car do any better :)

No DTM car runs turbo's ... only the old Class 2 vehicles from the mid 90's, when Mr Ecclestone decided to take them to an international level, hence the ITC, and killed the DTM ... until its ressurection in 2000 ... those Class 2 vehicles were the Alfa 155, Opel Calibra and Merc 190E/C-Class ... except the Merc which stayed RWD, the other two were AWD ... these cars had 2.5L V6 turbo engine reving up to 12 000rpm, ABS, Traction Control, Launch Control, etc ... they were more technologically advanced than the F1 cars from that era ... the cars from 2000 up, all ran/run 4.0L V8, RWD setup on tubalar space frame chassis with a carbon fibre silhouette ... they only introduced monocoque chassis this year ... so no, the Audi's don't have turbo's ... only DTM cars in the game that do have is the Alfa 155 and the Opel/Vauxhalll Calibra ...

Welcome. There's a spot for you. We're happy to have everyone we can, joining in this series. We need members to get this series started, but, we love DTM, so it MUST happen. :)

Exactly. I just need to know what car he wants to drive and he'll go to the OP :)

When does the season start? And how do i register? i didnt see a link for it.

The series starts as soon as all (or most of) the cars have a driver. And you'll need to register manually (GTP name / PSN name / car) :)
