I will race as a reserve if the room isnt full.

I had fun last time at Daytona, "pushing" that 5 car train and closing a 20 sec. gap on the lead pack.

Reading up on Today's Track Smack on NASCAR.com and boy do some of the so called 'professional nascar journalists' talk absolute rubbish. David Caraviello is far and away the guy with the most sense, I horribly think Menzer is totally out of his depth and how can you say something like what he did in the 2nd Question. I wonder why don't F1 have 3 or 4 journalists discussing F1 matters during the week whether or not what they is trash or not.

Can't wait for Saturday. Looking forward to putting the # 99 Aflac Scotts Turf Builder Ford Fusion on the front row. Yee Haaw. I just want to thank my crew chief, my pit crew and my wife for all the support over the years.

I think with the team Ford has this year we are going to see big things happen this season. Good luck to all the other drivers.

Hi mom! LOL

Hendrick all together, Ford all together, Red Bull are strong, no committed team mates for Joe Gibbs. This isn't going to end well :grumpy:

Give Denny and Kyle a ring, I'm sure they can spare some time on a Saturday night  Gutted for you mate, you really picked the short straw. It's a shame my schedule doesn't allow me to go full time.

I think he's just saying that he feels like the only driver without a team going into a race that requires a lot of team work. The Gibbs team is definitely the shakiest to start the season.

No need to be worried about draft partners, I assure you that alliances will be formed on race day. Heck, I'll be best buds with anybody in here for about 199 laps. :)

I will be in #42 Car

Looks like Mudd has the right idea .... just a matter of keeping up with Hendrick as they drive off into the distance.

Can we ban private phone calls between team mates for the race somehow :nervous:

:sly: .... hehehe

Furi, already told you mate, I'm racing the entire race and any thoughts that I have about how I (hope) to run, will not include someone who is starting/parking.

Sorry mate, but for sure I will not be looking to hook up with you during this one.

How do you know? Reserve seats are not issued until race day, once we have determined which full time drivers are missing. If the driver of the 42 shows up tomorrow, you'll be driving some other car. Have your 500,000 credits ready, just in case.

By the way, I finally got the final point standings posted back in the season one thread.

If anyone that raced at Chase Race 4 (Suzuka East) still has the replay, I need to know the exact number of laps led by each driver, so I can account for the last 35 of the 725 laps contested in all of last season.

Also, homeslice47, I still owe you one item for finishing third in points. Is there anything in my trade thread you would like?

 been waiting for that.

I may have the replay and will check when home tonight Sir. Will let you know, although may not have saved it as I was terrible (other than the early battle with Home).

I know that, I'm only running a few races anyway, 25 laps + a lap in the lead = my day done.

If we can manage a full field, that lap led will double your points collected for the day.

Joking aside, Stormtrooper psn'd me to tell you Drop, that he can't make the race this Saturday.

Edit: I have Suzuka East, I'll check it out when mate gone home.
