The team ford #43 rig rolled into daytona today.

I also noticed a few of the other cup teams were arriving as well

Any teams need a driver for Saturday? I'll be there as a reserve, my new save (my old one failed last week) only has one NASCAR on it so I'd just like to have an idea in advance of what ride I'll need to purchase 👍

Even worse, they didn't have enough money to buy the sport version. :sly:

It looks like an M&M's promotion gone wrong. Is this what they are making Kyle and Kurt Busch drive until they can calm down on the track?

Yep, it was the safest option.

After researching JGR's car on wikipedia, I see that it comes in Daytona White, which I presume is the colour they will use. Their technology is years ahead of ours, with their 3 wheeled RWD chassis having 1WD. They have a fan-cooled 49cc moped engine capable of producing 4.2hp (the 2011 model provides 3.35hp). 3 forward gears and no reverse gear. The whole car weighs in at 59kg without anyone in it.

JGR: The future of NASCAR, today.

They're all the rage over in Japan and were gifts to the Toyota drivers after SSRX. Look, they even painted them specially for Kyle, Joey and Vickers (in the White), and thus us how you'll see us finish on Saturday (if we can get a good bump draft out of them).

PS, I'll remember who insinuated this. I've just woken up and am :grumpy:

The Sponsors at Red Bull were kind enough to put this together into one package....................

EDIT - Race #4 & #5 will be updated after Race #2 Official Results are posted.

EDIT #2 - pick #3 for race#1 is missing, can't be edited until mid week next week. Please look at previous page for good version of preview#1

Tom, your welcome to run the #42 except I think RedPartyhat is interested in running it the remainder of the season. Red, let us know ASAP if you think you can make it to this weeks race, please, I'll give you 'dibs' on it since you spoke up first.

RedPartyhat
Id like to get in this with the #42 2011 Juan Pablo Montoya PSN:RedPartyhat

Okay mate, i'll be around anyway so just let me know 👍

Guys, have spoken to Drop about this and he's ok with it but felt it fair to ask all your opinions.

I already know that I won't be able to make HSR. I have family commitments that take me to the other end of the country and will have no way of getting to a ps3.

If it wasn't a Chase race I would just lose the points, but it is and as last year proved every point is crucial for the last 5 races.

I am asking you guys early if you mind if I ask a non chase driver to fill the #18 to keep me in the Chase?

Please don't think that as it's the only road course, and they are not my strongest races, that I am trying to shirk from racing it. I'm sure you all know me better than that by now.

So, I'm calling on your generosity here, in an absolute one off occasion. I wouldn't ask if I didn't need to.

Thanks, Team JGR Owner 👍

If Knelly had been showing spotty attendance, I'd be weary of it, but that's not the case. I have no problem with it.

I think allowing a one-time-per-season emergency exemption is ok. I had RFLX fill in once for me in trucks season one, and knelly did it once for me in Trucks season two. It happens.

Maybe include that in the rules for next season. It should definately be limited to once per season, otherwise I fear we would end up with a bunch of Borris Said's in here. :D

Why don't we just count 4 of the 5 best races? That way its fair for everyone. I had to miss a race in the chase last year and that cost me a chance at the championship.

I would rather use a replacement driver and count all five. If you drop the worst result, you're probably just going to eliminate the road course as a factor for half the guys. Plus, I don't like thinking that a driver could just no-show the last race because he could drop that result and still win the title. Every race should count. Consistency should still have a chance to win out. If you have to have a replacement driver once a season, so be it.

I think the rule should be to allow a one time fill in for an emergancy for each driver, only in the chase. Not the regular season. Regular season should be fair game, n this rule should only apply to the chase, which is when the points are most needed. My 2 cents

If someone is desperate enough to burn their emergency replacement during the regular season, so be it. It wouldn't be wise to use it then, unless you were on the verge of making/missing the Chase without those points.
