I could do a hour from half 9, but would have to dash soon after 10:30ish for Tom's IndyCar series 👍
DrifterJoeKnelly's in IndyCar too and you'd be fine to join after 10:30, since that's just when the room goes up for practice. 11 is when qualifying starts. 👍
I know, I just like to get in early cause I haven't done much practice. And I forgot Knelly was in that. So I'm good from whenever Akmuq's race ends (normally 9:20-40 until we head off to IndyCar 👍
KnellyOK, let's say 9:30 for anyone that can make it, and would like to be involved to try and become my replacement driver for HSR.
That includes you Akmuq if you can make it, although I'm not sure why you can race tonight with a broken disc but not tomorrow

Same
I think we should disable mics, and run with chase drivers (knelly's replacement included), plus mudd's second team driver. That's 12 cars on track.
My report of tonight's full-grid test race in WSGTC.

First we all had problems connecting to our private lobby. We made a public room and it worked without problems.

Stopwatch times
Any difference below 0.2 is human error. So every single lap matches stopwatch time perfectly. Total race time matches perfectly as well.
Better yet, all lap times match my expectations perfectly, these are the times I use to run.
Every now and then there was gfx stuttering, several others reported the same. While annoying, it did not affect car handling or lap times.
Conclusion
There was no bug tonight.
We may be able to run full grids again.
CarbonoxEh, Luke won't be racing today
But what he said sounded like it's a possibility..
And anyway, 3 drivers, 2 spots.
Who will miss out? Find out at 9:30 tonight on the pre race showdown
CarbonoxWhich 3 drivers? I thought there was more than that, at least when looking at the interest at Indy.
And there's a high possibility that I'm just going straight into Nationwide without bothering the Chase drivers during an important period in their season.

Matty, you and me.
I know we shouldn't bother Chase drivers but in real life NASCAR, non-chasers do race alongside chasers for positions and wins. Its just an element of racing in the Chase. I know if I was a Chaser I wouldn't want non-chasers butting in but its a figure of racing.
In other news, I went out today and got some broadband just for PS3 and left all my other gadgets on the other broadband. That might help my periodic lag.
I don't want to race Chase drivers in HSR. A single error can ruin someone's race entirely and for me, that wouldn't be surprising in these powerful cars on a high-speed road course.

I suppose Chqr will get Mudd's seat so good luck to all tonight.
At this point in the season, the driver of the 42 car is pretty much just showing off and trying to get the attention of next seasons team owners. The Stewart/Ganassi team has had enough trouble this season that I'm really no longer concerned with the team points, it's not going to change much regardless of who runs with the 42. So, out of the interested drivers, who is actually hoping to run full time in the Sprint Cup next season?
ChqrAs stated in Furi's lobby, I have a plan.
MuddIf I'm not mistaken, I think Chqr is planning a run in the Nationwide series over Sprint Cup. If that's the case, I think it would be most beneficial if Matty runs the 42 tomorrow.

There's really not that many extra people interested in Nationwide so far, if you guys can race with a full lounge I think it may be easier just to run the Sprint Cup for S3.
ChqrAnd whether or not Drop can open a full public room for a test race with no mics and maybe no visible damage, we might have a lovely 16 racer lobby with no lag given some other league's success.
