http://www.flickr.com/photos/99718660@N05/9422539248/in/set-72157634895035557this is going opposite to stance but back in the earlier updates i was running a chevy ssr body with gran turismo s motor, chassis, trans ect. it handled amazing. the wheels tuck even further under the car to give it that slammed hotrod style look. the only problem, and i fixed this with black on black, colour wheels will have a line run through the top of the rim where the tub is rubbing on the rim, therefore a black rim is nessassary. also i used to run a 2800gt celica xx with supra turbo 88 chassis, but thefront wheels were (and im being really picky) slightly forward. they didnt rub at all but looks IMO a little odd. ive also heard and seen the opel calibra or astra (1 of the 2) also work under the celica xx.

It hasn't. Their point was that most people in the stance community were also drifters. Which is very far from the truth, if you ask me.

And I am that lady. It wasn't a stupid argument, it was extremely valid and tossed away without care, like a lot of things are.
That you think something's normal, doesn't mean it is.

I' m guessing either "that guy" that wants to rile up a bunch of drifters and their "stoopid stancez"

This was not needed, but considering you brought it up once more, I will reply to it as well...
This thread, was meant for drifters that love stance.
I will not go in depth about the usefulness, (or in my opinion uselessness), of stance when drifting (with Rear wheel drive cars), because that is not the point.
Point is: This was a thread for drifters that use stance. What are FF, 4WD, and race car swaps doing here? Besides argument: Function > Form, there is also logic.
If people wanna drift alone, fine... But why make cars less compatible with others, when there are so much better options? Just because it looks better?

Yes? I mean in no way am I trying to be sarcastic but yes, visual effects, often sacrificing "optimal performance" has long been an integral part of drifting.
And I haven't been online for awhile, but I'm fairly sure that swapping in a chassis(and inheriting it's track, wheelbase, possible suspension geometry?) has no effect on the drivetrain. Assuming I make a car using these swaps,and maintain the original FR,MR, RR, drivetrain(convert AWD to FR), what makes them "incompatible"?
