Final Entry

This is my first time posting a photo on this website... I hope I am doing it right:)

FINAL ENTRY

.Seeing Red.

Greetings, Y'all!

I think I've got a curiously interesting little picture that contributes to the competition, so I present to you my:

FINAL ENTRY
Title: Dove Out Of The Way, Still Got The Picture!

(Here's a little blue pill for the the above picture's preview, just click to make it... well, you know...)

Enjoy!

Peace...

How'd you avoid the pixelation without editing?

Very freaking hard and a high shutter speed. I think I shot it at either 60 or 125. I've got a whole gallery of better images that I refuse to post because of a jag here or there. 👍

That and it's all in the angles. If I moved the camera left so you could see the underside you would get jags as well.

To be honest looking all the shots I can't use, if the smoke is on top of the car no jags, if the car is on top of the smoke, jags.

Just doing a practice run for this now.
Are we able to do a one-make i.e. more than one car in the photo?

Well it was allowed last week with the GT theme so yes you can do that as long as it's the same car of course. 👍

I don't think it needs more colour Jason. The mountains look absolutely Tolkienesque, I mean, I wouldn't dare cross those things without a wizard in my back pocket. I think foreboding is the word, and yet they are not dark, just menacing. It really offsets the yellow car so well. Come to think of it, yellow and graphite were a very common colour combination at SEMA for a while. AWESOME shot.

I woud agree, Jason, you DEFINITELY don't want more color in that shot - in my opinion.
The bright color of the car's paint really, really, really make it pop.
(It works on the same premise as the "partial color" filter works, but with a much more visually appealing result!)

Major kudos!
👍

Peace...

I have asked GORMAXPOWER to pick the top 20. From this time on new entries may or may not be considered for the poll.

Thanks guys, and I love the "Tolkienesque" reference. Perhaps the east side going into the rocky walls of Rohan? ;)

I calls it like I sees 'em. It's a nice shot - sometimes when I get a good shot the more I look at it the more I want to mess with it, even though it was perfect the way it was. It's very hard to know when to stop and that is what I think makes Moglet as good as he is - his shots are never overwrought. Cheers to the great shot, good luck.
