Now that everyone has something to talk about, can we please keep quiet until after Indy. I want Indy to run as smooth as it can for everyone. All Hell can break loose after.

Had a decent final run in my three allocated bump day attempts. I'm still quite disappointed in myself that I'm a tenth of two off but what should I expect? It's my first oval race and I'm not nearly as smooth with a DS3 as I would be a wheel. But again I heard that the pole time was set with a DS3 so I have no excuse.

Controversy that doesnt involve me. How refreshing. So that Im clear on this tire thing, us starting 7-15 start on softs, and will obviously be switching to mediums. Im assuming you only have to run the other compound at least once during the race, is that the rule? Again, not clear. Are the Top 6 expected to change to softs at least once during the race? Im confused.

Don't top six choose whatever tire they want? That's remember from earlier today anyways...

Both of you are right in ways. P7-P15 will start the race on softs (unless they choose to take a 3 place penalty to start on mediums). Top 6 from Pole Qualifying get to choose what tire they start on, but it's expected to be mostly mediums. Regardless, both need to be used on race day.

INTRODUCING The new satellite team of Black Rose Racing Team...Rose Noire Écurie, to be powered by Chevrolet! The team will use completely new assets from that of Black Rose Racing Team, including drivers. The team was launched with the objective of two things; expand Black Rose Racing Team, and bring in new faces to the series. All current BRRT drivers will remain as a part of the team unless they so choose to join the satellite team. Following my Lucky 7, the team will utilize the #07 car color being a flat tan. The team will officially open after Indianapolis.

So if you must use both tire compounds, how do you even judge that, to make sure the Top 6 use softs at least one run?

That tan is a sweet color, looks very Desert Storm camo to me with its dark brown highlights.

Watch the replay of the race

The PRB would see discrepancies in the tire wear.

I'd assume, and please correct me if I'm wrong, that the mandatory compound change would be enabled in the lobby as well. At the end of the race they get a 100 second time penalty from the game itself as well as probably just being straight-up DQ'd by IRG.

I am considering becoming a part time driver for a team(s?) (if anyone would care to to sign me) after Indianapolis. This all ultimately depends on if I can obtain my own PS3 or PS4(?) in college next fall among other scheduling conflicts with other race series, hence why part time.

Would be the same deal if I was a Safety Car for various races as well, scheduling and availability.

Definitely interested. Loved the amount of work put in by the whole BRRT and soon to be RNE crew.

NEWS: Hardy has requested that all operations of the series be handed over to him effective Monday, December 8, 2014. He has a revised set of rules (dubbed 3.0) that he believes will help refresh the series and set it on a better course. He has confirmed a lot of rules will remain as they are for now, while focusing on the serious points that needed immediate attention. This was done to try removing the political "blockade" that refused to change rules despite multiple failures. @KuniKino****a you have three days to respond. If you refuse, we break away. No negotiations.

What time is the Indy 500 going green? Section IX says 12:00pm EST while the season schedule says 2:00pm EST so I'm a little confused.

I believe it's actually starting around 1. I'll post the race day schedule tonight

I vote for a 60 lap simulated race at the start of practice Wednesday. Who's in, Like this post?

Well, seeing as how you've essentially cornered me out, I really have no choice now do I?

Not really. And just for the record, you made a WAY better driver than a politician. Your job is to review the replays and hand out penalties by the book, nothing else. You tried merging multiple tasks and all it did was create confusion. Now Hardy gets to return it to how he wanted it. It'll be way better this way. He's a way better organizer than a driver.

Okay, sure...

BREAKING NEWS: @Cole Brown and his team Brown Racing have withdrawn from the series after apparently having a hissy fit over losing drivers out of lack of leadership on his part. With that, everyone moves up a position, which will be posted after Bump Qualifying officially ends tonight. Hardy and I will review whether or not to ban the team and team principal from any further entries.

EDIT: Brown is hoping to continue, but efforts to save his team look dim.

THREAD UPDATE: Thread has been updated to include the Race Day Schedule (Article IX, Section D), as well as an updated roster and points so far from Pole Qualifying.
RULE ADDITION: A silent rule that I want to pass to everyone is this: Quitting the race will result in a pit lane start at the next points race. I understand disconnections will happen, but it's really rude to just quit because you're having a bad race. Show some sportsmanship and tough it out.
