If you're talking about the V6 versions of mustangs chargers etc... those aren't muscle cars. They're posers. ;)

Then what do u call the Australian Holden Commodores/Caprices and the current/past models of the Ford Falcon. Even though some of their models are V6's, they are still considered muscle cars.

For example:

A V8 Falcon is a muscle car.

A V6 Falcon is not a muscle car.

They could look identical, but only the one with the V8 is the muscle car.

I dunno, the Buick GNX is a muscle car and its a v6... I think that the SV6 commodore and xr6 turbo falcon are muscle cars too. Lets not forget the Chrysler Valiant Charger from the late 60s/early 70s which was a straight 6... my $0.02

I love to hear the muscle car debate. It never ends. I tend to favour a more inclusive definition - RWD, enough power for a smoke show, and affordable for normal people. What really defined the genre was the first cars that were found on the driveways of the middle class, that new high school grads could own (and kill themselves with). Just my humble opinion.

As far as I'm aware, the judge hasn't picked the poll yet, so it should be allowed still. It would be pity if it isn't as it's a great photo.

Sorry folks - bit of a delay this week, and then to make it worse, my train of thought was left boarding at the station, because I asked Nads for a Top 25, not two Top 12's for this week.

The rest of the threads are coming up now, however.

(EDIT) And a huge thanks to Nads for already getting me the updated poll selections! Off to create!

You are right, I found this in the official rules:

"Lastly, but not the least, the Deadline. A week is never closed until the host says so in a thread post and/or the thread title, that varies from OPEN (open to entries) and CLOSED (no more entries allowed). So, even though the deadline may be passed by one day, if the competition is open, entries are still allowed.
Note: Sometimes hosts may extend the deadline to get more entries, so it is quite normal for this to happen."
