XR6 must have remembered to throw a race to get more points from the bonus round ;)

That's a great grab on the first replay above... air or what ??
Fantastic vision, Ryan. Wish I could do that !
Amazing total times on both races. Wouldn't have thought it'd be that close. I wonder how others have compared ?
I noticed on turn 1 race 1 I got loose and seemed to almost hit (or maybe did hit) Matt, causing him to run wide. I'm sorry if I hit you, mate. Hard to keep the arse in check around there (as I found out at turn 2 when I looped it completely).
Later on at Red Bull ring, got to see first hand how fast that BMW is ! Man, walked away easily from the G37. Obviously the 37 has more downforce for the corners, but RBR has a great mix of both so should be interesting !
Bring on Wednesday !

Yeah, it wasn't until I watched that footage back that I realise how much I tortured my tires. Should've been smoother but I found it hard to concentrate that night.

The stills are just quick snapshots from watching the replay (not photo mode or anything).

The race 2 start was interesting, on turn 1 I had good pace around the outside but somehow spun. At the time I was sure that I was tagged but from watching the footage I can't tell. Ended up having a good side by side battle with Matt so quickly forgot about it. Then later I had a good move lined up on colecam again but on the inside but got squeezed into the fence. Since I figured I was losing time and risking more accidents I went for the very early pit stop, which was kinda stupid given how slow that made me near race end. Oh well, was still fun.

Yeah there was very light contact between 1 and 2 in race 1 Brett, but it wasn't your fault. I was trying to carry maximum pace on the outside line and ended up running it out to the gravel. I should've taken a more cautious approach seeing as i was off the racing line. I hope that contact had nothing to do with your spin after it

Yeah we've had some good battles as of late Ryan. From my replay it looked like the back end of your car just got loose on its own in race 2. After losing so much time off the start, i wasn't expecting to see you there, so i hope i didn't hold you up too much trying to get past

Was a tricky night all round!!! The slightest mistakes were seeing me going in to the only bit of kitty litter on the track lol.
Was good fun though, not Bretts first choice of track but I like the power at hand of keeping him challenged :dopey:.
Sorry i have been slack on the forum guys. I have family staying so i have lost my tv and ps3 and am struggling to get anything done around here lol

Great racing all. Race 1 was a bit of a shamozzle but race 2 was our best yet up the front.

Itchie's points have been assigned to fullgas.

Shame, i had the pace, but with pedal problems i decided to quit race one to try and fix it.
Again race 2 i had the pace, just could not seem to stay on the track long enough...

Enjoyed the ferrari race afterwards, that was fun...
Thanks Ryzza for doing the scores and replays, maybe if I worked where you work I may have the time 👍

Hey guys, i don't know if anyone else has got any practice in for next week yet, but just a heads up anyway. Tyre degradation is quite strong on very fast at Rome. I believe the FT1 has had some of the best tyre life this season and its struggling with one stop. Front right cops it worst (down to about 3 or 4) and front left and rear right suffer a bit too (about 5ish). That being said, it depends on how hard you drive too

Hey hey ! Maybe an advantage for the hard tyre at last ! Rome is a great little track, but the surface is crap - no grip and abrasive... how does that work exactly ?? Bloody Italians !

Drive hard Matty !

It may just be a mismatch of some sort. My driving style, the car and the track. None the less, running at low 1:08s high 1:07s after the first couple of laps im losing a point a lap, off my front right.

Yeah you probably won't notice it unless you do more than a few laps Ryan. Cobblestones do suck, but fortunately for me on RM my car grips. You'll really notice it through the chicane, sweeper and the corner after the back straight

I had a crack at RH and the longevity was better, but the rear was way too loose and i can't tune to counteract that. Plus I was running about the same pace as once my RM had faded, so it would only slow me down in the long run and make me a hazard on the track.

Yeah i think you'll do really well here Brett, even better than normal should i say lol

I was able to tune to grip better as well, but I then found the car was less communicative, and so it was easier to slip beyond the limit and spin, rather than just control it via feel. Track was certainly more fun back when we raced the Alfa 8C's on Sport Tyres :)

I was practising on 'very fast' as i thought being a small wide track we might be running it.
Haha as if you need me to drive slow Ryan. I went from pole pos. to last in half a lap race 1 last week lol

As long as we are all having fun, that is all that matters.

Hey ryan, i just re-lived some of season 8 again in the Alfa 8c, thanks for the video.
That brought back some memories, great season that one...

Hi Ryan, loving the look of Project Cars . . . a couple of questions if I may?

1: Would it be better to buy it for PS4 or PC?
2: Will you be able to race online against all comers (eg PS4, PC, XBox)?

Got a few mates that race "forza" on XBox-One - be great if we all got this and no matter what system we use, we could race against each other online!

Cheers mate,
Phil

1. PC (depending on budget). More wheels work with it, additional 3rd party tools made by the community, and a few other general pro's to PC gaming that aren't pCARS-specific. If you've got a Thrustmaster wheel then of course you could get the PS4 version, it's amazingly similar to the PC version as far as quality is concerned.

2. No cross platform gaming. I can't ever see Microsoft and Sony allowing that. They're not even allowing wheels/controllers to work with both consoles.

Thanks mate . . . that's a shame . . . was hoping we could buy project cars to suit whatever game system/pc and race together . . . ah well . . .
