There's no reaction to anything, again, as mentioned earlier if the damage was disabled for that...then I retract my statement.

Steering feedback is an entirely different story, however.

On top of all that, the cockpit view looks even more letterboxed than Prologue. Talk about driving from the back seat...

I think 30fps cockpit view should be okay, especially as little of the outside world as you see. Good grief...

30FPS is really bad for racing game.. when you play COD it's good enough, because people can not run 60 miles per hour or faster!

I hope they fix it up, they have few months to go.

That is what happens when you rush game for less then 2 years.

As I've said here in the past & on FC, I don't really care. My eyes are at the point where I honestly can not see any real difference in 30FPS & 60FPS. All my eyes are seeing is a great looking game, not numbers....

You can tell a diff. it's just an extra level of smoothness in how things move. You'll def see it if you put two things side by side.

When I saw GT running at 60 fps I was like woah.

Really, there is HUGE differance the faster you on track. Imagine Daytona Oval with 30FPS.. it would be hard for the eyes and a lot of bad slowdowns.

Actually, I think with a lower framerate, there would be less slowdown, but it would flicker more and be less smooth. Still, racing at 30fps is less obnoxious than replays. Without the extensive post processing of replays on FM2, Forza 1 replays were a horrible, flickering mess. Ugh.

WOW, here I am a day later. This thread is 4 pages deeper and there are 10,000 more votes for both. The reload/refresh capability on CNET's page has been fixed. Here's the kicker: now that the "cheat" or "glitch" has been removed, GT is 1000 votes ahead!!!

Looking smoother is about the only difference I can see between 30 & 60FPS. But I really don't care as long as the game looks good to me.

in real racing the steering feedback would be so rough that drivers take their hands of the wheel so their wrists don't snap. I don't know why but it all looks very unnatural, sort of like the car is bouncing around like a ball rather then crashing. And wtf at the windows not braking or at least cracking, and there is no stuff flying around like you would have in a real crash. Is that a clip of the finished game because it looks far from it to me?

Quite the opposite. The editor closed the poll because users were complaining of Che's attempt to essentially influence a one-way game, the addition of a free unicorn as a result of voting didn't help much either.

All in all, the editor found out...closed the poll with GT5 in the lead; so it was a lose-lose for that prick.

Anywho, back on topic.

It's interesting in the long run, but I really don't see the point of offering several cars that aren't programmed, as in a part of the in-game car roster, for millions of credits. Perhaps I'm missing something, or perhaps I'd rather pay a certain amount of credits for the car in-game instead of going through an eBay-esque bidding war.

To this day, I'm wondering what the hell "One-button driving" is. Hopefully not a thumbstick-based control.
