Haha, I do, and I really wanted to like GRID 2 but I'm finding it pretty hard and these 'reveals' really aren't doing much to impress me. Compare that to for example the GTA V screens that just left me wanting more. I look at these screens and just think "So?".
My thoughts exactly!

I'm happy if they give us any sense of realistic driving physics. My buddy and I went online, just to have a laugh, and we couldn't really drive the cars. I mean, seriously, we're both autocrossers, and he does drifting and time attack, whereas I've done autocross, karting, and some other types of racing. Seriously, I hope that they fix the physics enough that they're realistic enough to drive. If I see a single car skidding in an unrealistic way, to save time (like in Ridge Racer,) I'm not even going to rent it.

Don't bother then. I don't see that changing.

Here is the last of the unlocked pics.. So the likes/followers game is over :P.

I actualy think this one looks nice and much better than the rest in the sequence of unlocked pics.. Shows a bit of action with the cars pitching into the bend. Also that Mustang sits rather high .

*Waits for negative responses* :D

What a boring picture, everything about it is boring, especially the fact that the image focuses on a big old muscle car, what could be more boring than a big old muscle car. This image alone proves that GRID 2 is going to be terrible and that nobody will buy it and codemasters will go bankrupt.

If that crowd doesn't cheer me when I drive past I am going to boycott all CM games for the rest of my life.

I hope for the liveries these are just the AI ones and we can make our own 👍. Imo the Boss Mustang looks like it's the Ravenwest team from GRID. As did one of the Mclarens in the video.

Is it so hard to show different cars on a different track? I rather liked the first GRID, but I'm not interested in this...

Hey Paul. There was no red on Ravenwest cars.

Yes but the side of the multiple cars that bare the same livery certainly looks like Ravenwests logo... (Classic and Modern Mustang, Chevy Vette) No reason why they can't change it up a bit.. Afterall the 2 is red :sly:.

Anyway just speculation ;). Also the Pagani in the orginal teaser video looked similar too :).

Spelling error aside, tell me, what do you think that's going to achieve other than starting another argument?

From hereon out if you can't post anything worthwhile don't post at all.

Well I do like the Camero because of the likeness to the Stephenson Motorsport livery.

It's not THAT similar. Okay, fine, it is. 👍 👍 I wonder, though, if they'll make the physics a little more realistic. *insert example: I ran F1 lap times in a Chevrolet Lacetti at Spa*

My word you guys ate ridiculous.

Of course I'm ridiculous! If I wasn't ridiculous I wouldn't be ROGER THE 🤬 HORSE!

Unless this game features Group C prototypes, and Formula Ford, I'm not even going to consider buying it used.

Unless GRID 2 has Group Cs (fuel formula and atmo), Formula Ford, Formula Renault, Formula 3, Indycar, Group B rally cars, and NASCAR Cars I will not consider renting it!

Mel 1:59s are more LMP pace than F1s ;). F1s do 46-48s :).

Also I didn't notice that the Camaros livery was similar to the Grand Am one, nice :D.

If that's the case, then I'm guessing you are a PC gamer primarily, as there is no and most likely never will be any game released on any console that has more than two of those that I can think of (not a long list admittantly). Even on PC there are only select games that have more than three or four.

So, indulge me for a moment. What DO you intend to buy in the next thirty years.

Ehemm ... F1 series, Dirt series. I doubt they will go bankrupt. :sly:

I'm going to watch how this game looks, if it's all road racing and road cars I don't think I'll bother. I basically just want TOCA 3. Heaps of race series' with heaps of real world racetracks. Something similar to Grid 1 I'd even be happy with

I'd still like to ask if anyone would prefer a more realistic physics system? Why not just take the Codemasters games, all together, and put them together, to create a decent physics system to start? I hated the physics. The gameplay itself was addicting, but, I don't want to skid around every corner.

And, the best thing, was that the AI was actually as fast as me, or faster! Was awesome!

I think Roger was being sarcastic guys 💡
I hope so anyway

I was not being sarcastic! I was being deadly serious! Unless a game has all and everything you want it cannot be perfect, and I don't settle for any less than perfection. That's why I like Radiohead but I hate all their imitators.

Roger's hilarious.

You dare mock my comments and call them hilarious?! Be gone with ye!
For the record, I have been fairly sarcastic recently on this thread.

I don't mind an "unrealistic" physics system, plenty of games like this have had less than realistic physics system, I just want physics that are fun and most importantly that are easy to get on with. The original GRID physics were sometimes ok but mostly too erratic and lacked feel.
