Wow... I like this leader board thing, the followers is a little silly, but after that ramming scene. I can already see how challenging 1 on 1 races will go. Hope for the best!

I am starting to get interested in this game and I am disappointed by the amount of real circuits.
From what they announced they only have Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, Brands Hatch, Indianapolis Motorspeedway, Red Bull Ring and Yas Marina. What happened to the real circuits used in the first game?

Grid 1 didn't exactly have that many real tracks either.

Grid had 7:

Donington Park
Jarama
Istanbul
Spa
Nurburgring
Circuit De La Sarthe
Bathhurst (Via DLC).

How does this guy steer, Is this a controller Or Wheel ??

I dont think they say. But what they DO say is that the guy in the first race is the same one who sets the benchmark times for the AI. In other words, he is the one who drives and drives and drives and arrives at what the ai times should be. Thought that was interesting. Its no accident they describe him as having more hours driving G2 than anyone else at Codemasters.

The hood cam handling seems about normal for this kind of game, but the chase cam always seems drifty to me, and with lots of smoke.

I am still some what interested in this game, yet since F1 2012 I really don't want to buy a Codie's product

I'm looking forward to hear about Thrustmaster T500RS, Fanatec CSR Elite and Logitech G27 Racing Wheel user impressions with this game.
/Sarcasm.

The more im seeing and hearing of this game, the more im liking it..so i might pre-order it, but ill wait for the demo first, i assume there'll be one...

The only thing I hope for at this point, is GRID's community to return. After a bit they were a bunch of great people, lots of great racing. Minus that one guy you meet once a day or so who just likes to ruin everything.

So some of the dev team are saying win no matter what it takes and the senior game designer is saying: "...best way is to keep it clean."

Left hand meet right hand...

Very worrying indeed.

I already preordered. I don't like that wrecking and taking over first crap, but its whatever. I'll race like I always do.

Fair play to you - we'll probably get it at some point though as Grid was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy.
