Can someone post up a pic of the MK II Escort if they have it yet? Plus who's up for sorting out some online races soon, and what track/car sounds good for this?

I picked up my copy yesterday and can't get enough of it.👍 The atmosphere is fantastic - especially the night races. Loving the rallycross and trailblazer events. Just wish I had more time to play it:indiff:

Another from me, nice edit SweetshopUnion.

*MKII Escort*

A very fun car to drive which puts a big smile on my face every time, especially when im beating people in modern 4WD scoobies and Evo's:P. Shame it doesn't sound like the real thing though:grumpy:

How do you get the RS2000? I have the Metro V6R, the Escort MK II, and the 1995 Subaru Impreza but what else is there to beat?

Beat the finals for the Rally Cross series. Its the finals off the the right of the map.

The Rally America series will be in Steamboat Colorado next weekend, and I plan on being there. According to the Rally America website, Pastrana and Block are on the entry list so I plan on taking my copy of the game along with me for them to sign it. :)

I think the Raid events are awesome. Keeping your truck under control while it's bouncing around can be quite a challenge.

I'm really loving this game. I had a ton of fun this weekend with it. I got a callous on my left palm after giving my DFP a workout this weekend.

Is there a photomode in this game or are people just doing it via the XMB feature?

I got this yesterday afternoon, I absolutely love it. I'm already up to level 11. I can't wait to play more tonight, I might try the online as well.

I debating whether to get this for the PS3 or the 360 right now, I'm think the PS3 since I don't really have any games for it. One thing I would like to know though is do I have to use the shoulder buttons to accelerate and brake or can I map the to the X and Circle? I will never play a racing game on the PS3 that requires me to use the shoulder buttons.

Cool thank you for the speedy reply. I think I am going to get it for the PS3 so it can be something other then a media player, I think the controllers are getting lonely . Perhaps I'll stop on the way home from work tonight.

Can I ask why not?

That's all I use for driving games on the PS3. I can drive much smoother that way.👍

I think they are awful, I hate the shoulder buttons on the PS3. I don't think they are designed very well and I have issues getting used to them. The 360's control seems better in that aspect, at least to me anyways. But the PS3's controller is much better with it's buttons and analog sticks then the 360 so both controllers have their downfalls.

I kinda see what you mean. I ended up purchasing a set of these plastic things that snap on to the shoulder buttons that make them bigger, and have a "lip" for your fingers to rest on. Much better than before.👍

I've considered those but I have so few games for the PS3 it didn't really seem worth it. Maybe I'll get around to buying them eventually because they do look like they solve the poor design problem.

Get a wheel.

I hate wheels, unless they are attached to an actual car. None of them feel lifelike enough for me to want to buy one. I have the MOMO Logitech one for my PC though that I use to play Race 07, but even then it's a bit lackluster.

And Loon is right, I don't want to spend more money on one. The controller works just fine barring I can get the buttons right.

This game is so much fun online. Abit overkill though if you have the world series prize cars, they completely dominate any other vehicle regardless of stats. Seriously I've won all but 2 of the races I've competed in online so far and thats only because I completely hate Rawang Trail. The place makes no sense, its unnecessarily bumpy and has zero flow whatsoever.
