If you press the PS button on you joypad during a full replay, you can use the PS3 screen shot feature. Save Screenshot is under the Photo tab on your XMB.

Oh cool, I'll have to try that. Thanks for the heads up.

In other news, just managed a 2:57.33 on the Eclipse run. Edit: Make that 2:55.46 without making stupid cuts like some people seem to be.

Wow, that's darn quick. I got a 3:00.xx with some mistakes (ds3). I believe that I can get it under 3 minutes, but 2:55.xx? Probably too fast for me :)

Couple of over-the-top shots.

I can confirm that indeed, if you hit a telephone pole they do knock over.

Just downloading the demo now - much as I disliked DiRT it seems that DiRT 2 might be a little more promising - and it's great that the screenshot feature works too.

Here's mine for the collection, just did one quick run and took these shots, didn't bother going all out for it. Incidently the run was a 2:56.7 which wasn't bad for first run of the day.

It's flat out right up until the long sweeping left hander, don't let off the gas at all until then.

These next 2 give you an idea how I take the first real turn.

Then just a couple of nice shots.

The only car I've overtaken in single player on Morocco is the McRae R4, mainly because I played online with friends first, won, and then went on Hardcore. Hardcore is pretty darn hard to, they run around the 3:00 mark which is pretty rapid until you learn the track properly.

My fastest time so far has been rubbish!

But I have to say, I'm enjoying this far more than I did the first game. The handling still isn't up to much but it's way better than previously and there's much more of a flow to the driving. There seems to be less of the muddy brown and fuzzy effect to everything too (bloom, I think the word is?) so the graphics seem sharper and I do like the effects such as the water splashes covering the windscreen.

Not got the money for the full game whenever it comes out, but I'll definitely give the demo a few more tries.

Same story for me, I'd buy this game if I wasn't going to Uni in September, its 3rd on my list for the year and realistically I can only afford 2, Operation Flashpoint 2 and GT5.

Might aswell post some pics to...

Is there anything other than the Fluffy Dice to unlock in the demo? I haven't got to any high levels, only to 3 i think.

i played it on xbox360 since i haven't seen it on the US psn, i didn't like the BAJA stage so much(AI was all over me, kept spinning me out so i got ruthless and took them out first), but the Morrocco (sp?) level was quite fun. I just wish i could have used a RWD or AWD car. The eclipse? Seriously? Although it does fare quite well. Does feel very arcadey just like GRID in rally stages. I do still want to try the PS3 version with the G25, depending on how it plays with that would make the decision if it was worth purchasing. The water effects are pretty cool, it's exciting/scary when you hit a puddle at 100+mph and can't see for a few seconds. :scared::D

Grid 2 with Dirt's 2 graphics and a realistic simulation physics and I'm sold (Grid 2 not Dirt 2).

I'm pretty certain the Eclipse we're given is AWD, even though the normal Eclipse isn't.

Wow just tried the demo, and the feel of speed is very well done, it looks like real rally the way the bushes whizz by. The sound is also very nice. Too bad the game won't have WRC. But no worries, GT5 has it. :) I think I will buy this game when it has a price drop like platinum games.

hmm, when i go home, i'm going to flip the car over and accelerate, see if all 4 wheels spin....:dunce: i still need to wait for it to his the us psn store, i want to play it with the G25 to really make a fair decision. (damn you xbox for no g25 support 👎:grumpy:)

Just push it on a solid object and see if it spins them all.

Plug your G25 into USB port 1 and set your sixaxis to controller slot 1 by holding down the PS button and going into controller settings.

good idea, didn't even think of that, flipped the car a few times but upside down it cuts all power/controls to the car. I am actually really enjoying the morrocco track in the demo, find myself playing a few rounds to try and improve which i have a lot of room to, so far my best is a 3.20. haven't learned the entire track, certain sections need a bit more love. :)👍
