Now I'm watching the OU-Tech game. Go Raiders!

Since I've flipped to it, they've done jack squat. That fake punt is getting reviewed, but won't work, and they've had two 3 and outs along with letting the Sooners score. I sure hope they pull it off. I may just go to bed and let my absence-magic that worked earlier prevail. :lol:

GO TECH! You have ugly cheerleaders but you beat OU.

:lol: I guess going to bed worked, but apparently it got wild at the end. That was the best day of football so far this year, I believe. Since Wilson can't come in 2nd for the Heisman anymore, I want Tajh Boyd or Kellen Moore to do so.

Be interesting to see what the BCS rankings will look like. Oklahoma and Wisconsin probably won't go really high after both got upset. I found the Oklahoma loss to be the most shocking. Texas Tech is no lame duck school, but it was shocking for Texas Tech to get it done in Norman.

Have to see what the rankings look like later on!

Seems like West Virginia MAY head to the Big XII if Missouri bounces to the SEC. I still want to see Mizzou in the Big Ten (regionally), but the landscape of college sports (let alone football) is changing.

Because I'm too lazy to post lists, here are links to share the latest standings. All of them are courtesy of the NCAA's website:

* http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/football/fbs - all NCAA FBS Rankings
* http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/football/fcs - all NCAA FCS Rankings
* http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/football/d2 - all NCAA Division 2 rankings
* http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/football/d3 - all NCAA Division 3 rankings

So how's your school looking in the rankings?

Outside of FBS, I'm proud of Sam Houston State and their ranking. I cheer on the Huntsville, TX school as one of my favorite FCS schools here in Texas. I also cheer on Lamar and Texas-San Antonio. And if there's some bias- all three are Southland Conference schools. UTSA is trying to step up to FBS and may likely join the Sun Belt.

Most peoples' attention points to next week, when it's #1 LSU at #2 Alabama on November 5th in primetime. I'll be focused locally on the Bayou Bucket rivalry as Rice plays at Houston this Thursday night. A strong cold front is supposed to come down to Houston, leaving us in the 60s (Fahrenheit) and with a lot of rain. So it may be a messy night to determine Houston bragging rights. For UH, they need this to help their BCS bowl chances. Houston and Rice are about five miles apart.

Enjoy this week and weekend of college football!

How 'bout it? We got college football in cities like Miami and Houston tonight. Tomorrow night's action is in Arlington as BYU meets TCU. One of the big games this weekend involves USCal and Stanford. However, I'm not sure if it's at USCal or at Stanford.

Enjoy your college football!

I feel like we gave those two losses away, we really should have beaten those two teams. But, we are the best 2 loss team in the NCAA. :lol:

TCU should beat BYU, definitely going to be a good game. :)

Did you go to the game tonight John? It's now 11:11 left in the 4th and Keenum has 8 TD passes. If ECU can get a guy like that in the future in our new Big Country conference thingy, I'd love to see what would happen.

I really, REALLY, REALLY hope Stanford can get a title shot against the winner of LSU-Bama. I just want to see a Cardinal offense vs. Bama's or LSU's defense. That's all I want. I don't care about the Dolphins this season.

I rarely go to games. It was 28-21 in favor of Virginia (Virginia at Miami) and 73-34 in favor of Houston (Rice at Houston) tonight. Maybe I should get my head out of the past because when I usually think of the Hurricanes, I think of the... you know, 2001 Miami Hurricanes. They used to be national contenders. Now, they're quite mediocre (but not sorry).

Friday night action is in Arlington, TX as BYU takes on TCU.

👍 I can't think of another matchup I'd like to see. Maybe K-State, but only because of the underdog factor.

...and 73-34 in favor of Houston (Rice at Houston) tonight.

I saw that score this morning on the ESPN ticker, and thought "what a lopsided college basketball game".

Maybe I should get my head out of the past because when I usually think of the Hurricanes, I think of the... you know, 2001 Miami Hurricanes.

That's because their 2001 roster was stacked with an absurd amount of future NFL talent. That's nearly an entire Pro Bowl team in the making!

Well, pretty much a good day of college football so far. My Pirates beat Tulane 34-13, Duke only lost by 4 to Virginia Tech (whoa, good job Devils) and NC State got the crap kicked out of them. I wish K-State would have played better, but I didn't get to see since I was at the stadium. The score looked bad. Hopefully Clemson will pull it out.

Big upset in the FCS level. I found out that (#1?) Georgia Southern lost at Appalachian State. I am alternating between Stanford at USCal and Wisconsin at Ohio State. I salute all winning teams up to the time of this post.

Tough luck, Wisconsin and Clemson. I really wanted you guys to succeed. Is it just me, or does Lane Kiffin look exactly like Daniel Tosh from the episode where he gave the football player the web redemption?

Andrew Luck has thrown 4 picks this year. One of them was a pick-6 against Duke, which I'm pretty proud of. On topic to the game, that was quite a pretty drive Luck just put together after that stupid penalty from the SC DB.

Wooohooohoooo, Buckeyes win!!!!

Great game. Final 5 min was crazy. After Wisconsin took the lead with about 1:20 to go I thought it was over. I'm a big Buckeye fan, but never thought they would pull one off on Wisconsin.

Go Bucks!!!

I'm glad Fickell is doing well, I like OSU better than Michigan anyway. Great game Stanford, Luck is an absolute joy to watch.

With being thrown into the fire with the NCAA investigations and player suspensions, he's doing really well. I hope he can stay head coach for another couple of seasons and see how he does when there's no drama going on.

Michigan:yuck::lol:

26 days till Ohio St./Michigan game. Live countdown here:http://buckeyecountdown.com/

The countdown many other people have is the countdown to #1 LSU at #2 Alabama. Over 90K will likely pack the house looking to tame some Tigers. People are saying "Game of the Century" for this one. So far, though, the USCal vs. Texas Rose Bowl game is one of the best games this century.

I've got to say- hats off to Georgia on their win over Florida in Jacksonville. I also have to shout out to Joe Paterno on his landmark win in the all-time ranks. Much love to the 80-something year old, 40+ year career as Penn State coach.

Another Bucks fan. 👍

Nobody who is an OSU fan could have seen this win coming.The entire past week, all I heard was how the Bucks were going to get it handed to them,HARD.I had to agree with them, I could not see them beating the Badgers. Congrats Buckeyes, and all the other winners this past weekend.

Not to rub it in, but if your Wisconsin, how do you deal with 2 straight losses, both coming at the hands of a Hail Mary ? That's tough to deal with.

Just now, I saw "Crunch Time" on ESPNU with that beautiful touchdown pass Ohio State scored to win the game. The Buckeyes' QB was only a yard or two behind the line of scrimmage and threw a beautiful touchdown pass into the end zone. It was BRILLIANT!

That was lovely. I'm now watching the same show to see the Stanford at USCal triple-overtime ending.

Since we're in November, don't forget about college football games being played on Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in addition to the usual Thursday-Saturday games.

ESPN will be all over the LSU at Alabama game to be shown on CBS in Primetime. I'm not sure who to pick in that game to be honest. Maybe LSU by a touchdown or Alabama by a field goal. It's going to be a great game unless one or the other just doesn't show up to play.

And now on to the part where Penn State loses the last 3 games of the season.

I'm so glad the ECU game is at 4 and I'll have time to watch the Bama-LSU game. But first, ECU and Southern Miss will battle for the top spot in C-USA's East Division, with both 3-1 in conference. It should be a great game, provided ECU doesn't turn the ball over six times and have busted coverages every other down. ECU will also shoot for a 4 game winning streak. I sure hope its a close one!

Florida State at Boston College. As of this post, it's 28-0 in favor of Florida State with 48 seconds left in the First Half. It was 28-0 Florida State when I checked in with about 1:15 left in the first half. Seminoles on a roll up in the Boston area...

Enjoy your college football this weekend! Tomorrow night, it's USCal at Colorado.

There wasn't much to that game. We gave up 21 points before Southern Miss' offensive unit stepped foot on the field. They didn't beat us, we handed the game to them on a shiny silver platter. Hopefully we win a couple more from here on.

I'm not even going to comment. I didn't get to watch the game...and I'm glad I didn't. After a great start we've lost 4 out of the last 5. :( Sad thing is we beat OU last year...

LSU and Alabama played to a defensive struggle. The score is more like an offensive baseball game than a football game. It was #1 LSU winning 9-6 in Overtime at #2 Alabama. I saw most of the game. At the time, I was watching both this game and the Kansas State at Oklahoma State game.

Congratulations to all winners; tough luck for all the losing teams.
