Two games are on right now. It's Clemson at Wake Forest in FBS and Delaware State at Morgan State in FCS.

The score as of this post is 14-0 2nd Quarter as Clemson leads Wake Forest with 14:49 left in the first half. It is 7-0 right now as Morgan State leads at home against Delaware State. 14:00 left in the first half in that one.

Still waiting on an answer here. I will give you a hint before I reveal the answer tomorrow night. The team was NOT in a conference (or a power conference pre-BCS) when they went undefeated and the team WAS invited to a bowl game, but it did not accept.

I will be in attendance for Gameday. Look for me somewhere in the back. If I do end up making another Gameday appearance, then it will not be the first time. Hint: Check my profile. ;)

Lucky.

Today can either be memorable, or forgettable. I don't need Duke to beat FSU (too much to ask), but I want a fight. I will be disappointed if ECU can't beat Navy and earn their bowl bid, however.

Cincinnati at Louisville was an exciting Overtime finish last night! The Louisville Cardinals managed to pull it out in Overtime thanks to a few mental lapses by Cincinnati as well as the pouring rain. I think the score was 34-31 last night.

Enjoy your college football today and tonight, and good luck to all of your team(s).

WVU has a bye today.

The UL-Cincy game was excellent.

Munchie Legaux - Best. Name. Ever.

Edit: Don't question Oregon's offense. Don't.

Rutgers lost to Kent State? And I thought I had a bad day, jeez...

When faced with a chance to do something good, this team screws up royally. Did it in 2006, 2007, and last year.

The only saving grace is that we control our own destiny despite the loss. Its out of conference and IF (I will stress if) Rutgers wins out they will go to a BCS game. If Rutgers goes 10-2 (provided that loss is to either Army or Pittsburgh) they can also do it. They MUST beat both Cincinnati and Louisville though.

DOWN GOES... Rutgers, Ohio, Wisconsin, USCal, and Florida among others! Here are random notes on those:

* I got to feel for my buddy Blitz24 as his Scarlet Knights failed. Well, screw a possible unbeaten Louisville/Rutgers match to end the season. Kent State went into Piscataway and... well, Rutgers' unbeaten run flashed before their eyes. Golden Flashes got the win.

* Ohio was under the radar mostly since this is a MAC team. They sadly lost to in-state rival Miami University (I use U. of Miami to mean the Miami Hurricanes) on the road.

* In Overtime, Michigan State went on the road and took down Wisconsin 16-13. Many winning streaks for Wisconsin were snapped thanks to this loss to the Spartans.

* I think it was 39-36 that Arizona upset USCal at home. No rest for the weary- USCal will host Oregon next week, who hammered Colorado at home by 50 or 60 at home today.

* A late touchdown by #1? Georgia led them past #2 Florida 17-9. Florida could have clinched the SEC East had they won. Sadly, the Gators lost in their home state to one of their hated rivals.

And you wonder why I love college football. Upsets and big wins like these are some of the reasons why. I also just love the college experience more than I do the pro experience. As of this post, #5 Notre Dame at #8 Oklahoma is on right now. No score with 12:13 left in the First Quarter.

Congratulations to all other winners from games so far as of this post.

The Gophers managed to win against Purdue to keep our bowl hopes alive. It will pretty much come down to us beating Illinois in a couple weeks, I don't see us even having a chance against Michigan, Michigan State or Nebraska.

I'm pretty sure CAM's day sucked. ECU got beat down at home by Navy, and Florida State beat down Duke at in Tallahassee. Meanwhile... my Cougars beat UTEP. :D I can't be too happy because Houston will have to play at East Carolina this season.

I am not a Notre Dame fanatic of any kind, but it's safe to say this season's Fighting Irish are the real deal. They'll probably play for a National Championship granted they don't choke away their amazing season.

Sadly they probably will even if they rank #4 (by virtue of Kansas State or Oregon finishing the season undefeated as well).

Illinois is the only one to cheer for. Aaannddd they are the worst team in the conference.

Guess who the Buckeyes play this coming weekend ?

What's up with that ...... the Golden Flashes beating Rutgers ? That was one of those double takes at the scoreboard, like huh, what !

Your Gophers racked up 44 points yesterday ... impressive ! Hey, your still alive, 2 more wins and your in a bowl game. Good luck.

Some very sad news, especially if you are a Marcus Lattimore fan. Best of luck to you Marcus, thoughts, prayers go out to you.

WARNING : THE FOLLOWING VIDEO IS NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH AT HEART!!!

* OSU moves to 9 - 0 after beating Penn State 35 - 23. It was a game of two halves. The 1st half was dominated by defense. The 2nd half, the offenses finally got involved. Up next, Illinois, then two very rough games lie ahead .... Wisconsin and Michigan.

* Michigan paid a visit to Lincoln Nebraska and it did not come out in their favor. The injury to Denard Robinson spelled the end of the day for the Wolverines. Backup QB Russell Bellomy struggled badly. 3 of 16 with 3 interceptions. One of those was not his fault (tipped pass), but none the less, this team folded up when Robinson went down.

* Wisconsin took on on the chin .... at home !!! WOW !!! The Spartans of Michigan State took the Badgers into OT, winning by a score of 16 - 13. So goes that 21 game home win streak. The weird thing about this Wisconsin team, they can finish up in 3rd place in the Leaders Division and still play for the Big 1 Championship game. OSU and PSU are out of the picture do to sanctions, giving the 3rd place team a shot at the title. CRAZY !

* Northwestern is still making noise in the Big 10. They beat Iowa 28 - 17. They still have a shot at this, don't rule them out just yet.

The game of the week belongs to ..........

NOTRE DAME, beating Oklahoma, in Norman none the less !!! Congrats N.D. 👍 This was an amazing game, very impressed with the play of the Irish. If only, if only, if only ... somebody can take down 'Bama (maybe LSU this upcoming weekend ?), Oregon or KSU gets taken down, we could be looking at the Irish in the National Championship game.
Best of luck to Notre Dame for the remainder of the season. Here's hoping you can go all the way

I partied with a Notre Dame alumni at a campground this weekend watching the game. He...drank a few....and after they won, he ran around the campground cheering Notre Dame and shouting obscenities at Sooner fans. Lol

Let me just say this- my heart goes out to Marcus Lattimore on that horrible injury. Absolutely terrible moment.

Let me add one more "DOWN GOES..." comment- DOWN GOES OREGON STATE! Washington upset the Oregon State Beavers late last night, handing them their first loss of the season. Nothing but insanity. Welcome to college football, folks.

I hate to say it, but I think Lattimore's career is over. You can't return from that bad of an injury (from multiple areas) and expect to preform at the level you once did.

Um...he's a junior this year. Anywho, it still sucks. Kinda like Pat White's NFL injury: He was knocked out by a helmet to helmet hit. He was never the same again.

AP Top 25 is out:

Here's what will be going on in week 10

Do you see any possible upsets ? The game I will keep an eye on will be #1 'Bama @ #5 LSU. Prime time, 8:00 CBS. This is going to be good. I would like to see 'Bama fall and then see Notre Dame and KSU move up into the 1 and 2 spots, that is if they win.

#4 Oregon will play on the road at #17 USC. Should be good as well.

The '12 season is drawing down to a close. Who needs to win ? Who needs to lose ? Who needs help from other teams to make it somewhere ? It's going to get more interesting.

Good Luck to your team(s) this weekend.

Reports are now indicating that Marcus Lattimore could play again next year or face some sort of year-long recovery. I'm pretty sure for all intents and purposes, Lattimore will no longer be effective as he once was. He has a redshirt option (Lattimore is a Junior), and he could play in 2014 for South Carolina if he chooses to. I still want this young man to recover. That was an awful injury. I've seen worse, but that was awful and a real tough break for both him and the U. of South Carolina.

John Saunders summed this up pretty good.

 To the Tn. Volunteers. What they did, the gathering around of Lattimore was a class act.
