Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge! Completed! Thanks All!

You're welcome. I've made it clear that I won't tolerate public accusations. It leads to public arguments. Public arguments lead to Site Moderators... who will ban us from GTP.

Yup exactly I don't wanna get ban from GTP there are a lot of series I still wanna be a part of.

He pulled off-track to let me pass. If you want, though, I can ban you from WMA races for public accusations. Yes, I'm publicly saying that. It's embarrassing and insulting when you call someone out on something publicly, isn't it?

I mean, I imagine you have a job, since you have a kid; Would it be annoying if your boss publicly mentioned you, and your "lack of" forum "etiquette?" If you want to offer advice, that's fine.

But, take it to PMs. I helped James with his setup. While I can't bring him to a fully-competitive level, against drivers like Paul, Lancer & Filipe, I'm helping him. You're not. You're publicly disgracing him, and yourself. You can brag about this championship and that one, but, James is still a few hours of practice away. It doesn't mean that you get to shove your inflated ego into everyone's faces. No. Never.

I don't race in WMA events, nor do I want to. My comments weren't rude either. I gave him advice. If you can't control your car or keep consistent, practice offline and learn the track and car better. That's friendly advice. No reason for you to jump in and add your little story.

Don't respond to them, Seth. Discussing the matter even further will cause the moderators to become involved. The same would go for Mel and James as well. I'm not in charge, but I can assure you we are not going to argue about ALMS in the Conti thread.

Anyways, congrats to Seth on the win and Mel on the championship. Tune was off, I would've done better had I not mixed up tunes.

ghs is still my most respected rival for the championship, and I especially enjoyed ghs's out-of-age-group-but-in-character maturity. It was great racing with you, ghs.

This is a W.M.A. event........

Well said GHS. We don't need to hear complaints in another thread on here as the ALMS wouldn't want to hear the CTSCC complaining on their thread.

Congratulations to Mel for the championship in GS. Congratulations Polar and Filipe in ST. :)

So, any final points standings for Me, James, and Paul? I know it was really close.

In a minute. With the after the race stuff, my picture of the standings is quite blurry, so I want to make sure it's right:

GS-

Seth
Mel
Chole
Ghs

ST-

Paul
Lancer
Filipe
Polar
FH
James

And of course, I decide to go to sleep at a good hour and actually sleep awesomely, and I wake up to see that this is now the ALMS crash talk thread.

Seth; this IS a WMA series, not a super shove-it-down-your-throat WMA event, it's a WMA event for stewarding purposes, and that may come in handy.

James; you screwed up twice, both times when Paul was lapping you. I saw the second one. I doubt that it was anything other than you just totally missing the corner and trying to use Paul as a barrier...

Well, other than that, I think it was a good race! Lancer and I had a great battle going on (as usual) so that was fun until I got DC'd...

Congrats to Mel and Filipe and myself! :D

Why don't we have a spot race like the Rolex did. Let's go to Indy instead of Daytona though. IRL, CTSCC completed 59 laps when they ran the Brickyard Sports Car Challenge, so let's have the CTSCC Brickyard 60.

Ayy! Sounds like something I would think of xD

Be something I'd be interested in doing gathering as much information for a series I want to make :). (Though Indy may not be the right sort of track for what I am making but we will see ;))

The Laguna race helped me decide the amount of laps I need though 👍.

Nah, :sly: that was totally my idea

...it was 50/50... You beat me to the continental part! I said I wanted to do some more spot races xD

And season 2 discussion thread will be up tomorrow morning first thing!

Great idea. Indy might be my best track and I have a good setup for the Mini.

Would there be cautions in this race?

Most likely. It would be long enough.

And glad this helped ya Paul :)

I think anytime Paul is interested, it has to be awesome 👍

I also suggested putting up a season 2 discussion thread :sly:

I think Indy might be my best track too TBW :)

The car I am planning is FF like my Mini but will be lighter and have less power. (I am planning ABS off too though..) So I just need a rough estimate for now on how tyres will last. I am planning 1 race with no stops needed or much slower than no stops. The 2nd race will be set for a 1 stop race with a reverse grid race.

Getting ever closer to making a interest check thread :).

All of these are valid points...

But season 2 was almost a given. It'll be short like this one. I am thinking of doing a alternating season with something else.

Paul, that sounds awesome! Ill keep a eye out for it!

Then add Focus to ST :) I can spec it if you like ;). Current ST specs are fine for the Golf, Mini and Civic so it would just be a case of getting the Focus to match the others.
