Sorry guys I didn't mean to impede, my optimism over the new game has got me on cloud 9 at the moment. I think they slam dunked the dynamics of this game, and my favorite is the font of the cars and track are big again like GT4. The 1st thing I noticed about Prologue & GT5 was PD used smaller font cars, but the big shoe boxes are back! 👍

Yes, me too. I like the way the cars handle in GT 6. I have a bit of trouble with the the faster races though, the graphics seem to stutter.

Yea they went back to the bigger font size for GT6. I never did like the fact that when they switch from the big shoe box cars of GT4 to the smaller font style of Prologue & GT5 (I think the smaller font help make the graphics look better). Now that the big font shoe box cars are back I don't have to squint at the track any longer. I hope to God they don't go back to that small font size crap again. Keep em big!!!

I had a go a GT6 last night at a friends house. Handling seems good, a lot more difficult under breaking and on corner exit but that's all good points. The curbs are a lot more tricky now too but again that's a good thing.

Could you confirm that I've got a place on the grid. It's just that I have to buy a new PS3 and GT6 for this race. If there's no grid slot for me I would probably wait until May to do all my Xmas shopping.

There will certainly be a spot in a Nissan, the only additions to the list on the OP so far are JoeTruckV8 and TnT-2000
R2 sign up list will be appearing with the driver's brief.

If you've completed Nat A then you are good to race online. There is no 'My Lobby' in GT6 but you can create or join Open Rooms that are for 'Friends' only

Diver’s Brief: Le Mans

Configuration: Circuit de la Sarthe 2005 (no chicanes)


Laps: 38+Pace Lap


Weather: Sunny/Dry


Pit Lines:

Pit In: While autopilot takes over before the first pit chicane, a penalty will still be given if a drivers causes the autopilot to lose control and run into the gravel, so control your entry speed.

Pit Out: No pit line, however drivers should be aware of the Rejoin Blocking rule and allow faster cars past into the Turn 1 kink


Track Limits: Are defined under the ‘corner cutting’ section of the ‘rules and regulations’ section on the OP (permissible curbing colour is yellow and blue in this case), with no exceptions

Please note that the track limits through the Dunlop Chicane, Tete Rouge, Mulsanne’s Corner and the Ford Chicane adhere to the white line/yellow and blue curbing rule.

Important Revisions: Per discussion on the thread, we are now officially on GT6. An entirely new physics model will mean that there may be unforeseen circumstances during the race so please be patient if it does not go exactly to plan. One of the major changes is an update to the entire car list spec, for which we have memto to thank, since he worked all but single-handedly on them, is as follows:
