Championship Standings
Stewards Report: Daytona
Lap 1 (Pace Lap) - duke_adam46 - Not keeping up with the pack *1
Lap 1 (Pace Lap) - memto89 - Not keeping up with the pack *1
Lap 2 - oalithgow - memto89 - Avoidable Contact
Verdict - +60 - Despite the fact that the damage sustained by each car is only quite light, we have warned you about first lap incidences before and you were significantly later on the brakes then the cars around you.
Lap 2 - Sig1611, duke_adam46, boy-wonder_2000 - davidb_165 - Racing Incident
Verdict - NFA - While the damaged caused by this incident was substantial, there was no way that Adam, or the cars that followed could have reacted differently.
Lap 2 - ZovomirVanBasten - boy-wonder_2000 - Avoidable Contact - Driving Standards 1/3
Verdict - +60 - I appreciate that you wanted to recover quickly, however you cause significant damage to a car that had successfully managed to avoid the incidences of T1. To all drivers, if you sustain damage you must make sure you are driving at a speed that allows you to maintain control of your vehicle.
Lap 2 - boy-wonder_2000 - Sig1611 - Avoidable Contact
Verdict - +60
Lap 3 - boy-wonder_2000 - memto89 - Avoidable Contact - Driving Standards 1/3
Verdict - +60 - This is fairly inexcusable, made more so by the fact that you keep your vehicle under control for the cars before memto89's.
Lap 5 - memto89 - Pit Exit Line
Verdict - +10
Lap 5 - boy-wonder_2000 - Blue Flags
Verdict - +60
Lap 10 - chozza_32 - Pit Exit Line
Verdict - +10
Lap 10 - boy-wonder_2000 - Driving Standards 2/3
Verdict - Warning - Given that you have already caused a significant accident on this exact same piece of track trying to drive too fast with damage; the fact that you then have a second spin which indirectly causes another car to sustain serious damage is unacceptable.
Lap 31 - memto89 - ZovomirVanBarsten - Avoidable Contact
Verdict - +60
*1 - Due to several incidents that could have occured on multiple occasions in the past, we are making a revision to the pace lap procedure. If for any reason during the pace lap a driver is unable to remain in formation, they are to pull off to the side of the circuit and when they are able to continue they are to rejoin in the position that they have fallen to. Do not use the pause menu. If anyone is caught doing this, stewards will call you out and you will be forced to start from the back of the grid.
*2 - There were a lot of cases of cars either being driven too hard with damage, or drivers trying so hard to stay off to the side of the track that it meant they were unable to control their vehicles. You only need to leave a car's width of space to let people passed so if you need the extra space use it.
*3 - As a Final point of driving standards, when letting cars lap you, the place to lift off is significantly before the braking zone, not on the apex or exit of a corner, not running the corner deep to leave space on the apex. If you're going to do anything that isn't simply following the racing line until the next straight, then just stay to one side of the track and only use half throttle. Rant over.

One last thing is that while this is not a full championship, it's not an unfair expectation to assume that if you put your name down for a race that you're actually going to show up. I understand that some of you will change your minds but at least have the decency to tell us you won't be attending.
