To quote the OP "Note: this championship was devised to be run solely on GT5, however as demand and opportunity arise it may be moved to Gran Turismo 6 after its release."

Due to the closeness of the 2nd race (Dec 21st) in the series to the release date of GT6, it is unlikely that Le Mans would be on GT6. The final round might well be so long as the entrants have the game/cars.

I sugest to postpone next race for Jan 21st, cause alot of people will be bussy whit GT6 and some will not return to GT5.
Me personally will give GT5 to a cousin of mine once i have GT6.
Also remember the cars are all available on the dealerships from day one, so they won't be a problem.

Some of us can't race if you postpone the race on the 21st. Especially those of us at uni or racing in the N24 as that will clash with the N24 timings...

It won't be moved and it couldn't have been a weekly thing as we have real life things to do and can't spend all our time doing this. Its been said a few times now that if people have the ability to run this race on gt6 then it will o to gt6 but if not it will be gt5, if you don't want to run gt5 then don't race... That's the bottom line

I think we'll know if its a GT6 thing by the end of next week as most people will have a feel for how much time it takes to get these cars by then

To reiterate Memto's points. This series' calendar was produced to fill the gaps between WEC season 2 and 3, while not conflicting with the Nurburgring 24h and build up events which I'm sure many of you know we are also involved with. Considering these factors, and the release of GT6, we have done our best to time the events as best we can however as anyone can appreciate, it can't please everybody.

So in summary; the event dates will remain in place as they have been. Only if we can produce an equally balanced spec, and all of the participants that have previously signed up have the game and cars required will this championship be moved to GT6.

Yes it is awkward but hey, that's why we're running this now, instead of launching WEC S3.

I will point of though that in case some of you haven't been paying attention to the CORE idea, if post the final round, someone does want to turn this into a full time championship, we can help provide support and general assistance for doing so.

Hey....TMB drivers have already suffered more than our fair share of DC's in the last two CSS/VLN races. If GTP_Karma really does exist, she will leave us all alone now until at least the end of 2014!!

Bad news for me!

My Fanatec wheel glitched out again when I switched from GT5 to GT6. Usually I have to wait roughly 72 hrs before the wheel drops the glitch in the system so ill try again on Monday. If it still doesn't work I have 1 more trick up my sleeve, but other than that I can't buy a new pedal set until January 11th so there's a possibility I'm man down for a long while. I will still be active on our treads from here on out!

There are still other factors besides this to consider Joe, I highly doubt a new spec can be balanced in a week and a half when we have the N24 cars to work on first. Please be patient and we will do our best.
