Does full aero kit mean that the downforce must be at the maximum? Or purely that we buy all the pieces?

No, it's up to the individual how they use their downforce (just like you are free to tune your gears and suspension settings)

Downforce can be used on a race to race basis, just like any other setting available.

For instance, we have an LSD fitted to our Championship car, again, another setting we can use to our advantage.

Remember, it's not PP based Season 6.

Yeah it was the full aero I was confused about. I was playing around with the 86, it's pretty planted at the back!

Thats not Northlander II, it was a tweak to Northlander, that is the final version

Northlander II will be used in S6 & S7

Right, things aren't looking good for me this week. I've been sick for the most part of it which has resulted in no practice which has me worried for Spa. I wanted to have my car at 100% but I'm probably going to have to wing it and hope for the best :/.

As for the Northlander, I believe I posted a time up here a few weeks ago of a 2:29:xxx or 2:30:xxx but obviously that was before the final version was released. I havn't been around the final Northlander yet so I guess I'm gonna have to wait until next week to see how my time fits in.

Ooh with all this talk about the race tomorrow, I'd better go and purchase the Spa track now! Very little time to practice again this week! Ah well it'll still be fun!

EDIT - hold on a sec... I have just looked on the updated new style playstation store and I can no longer see the track pack add on that contains the Spa track?! I don't want to pay £10 for that bundle with all the other rubbish in it. Wasn't there a standalone track pack for Belgium which cost about £3?

EDIT AGAIN! - Ok I have found it, but not under the main GT5 Page, it was under a standalone section called Vehicles & Race Tracks! Pretty poor, surely it's not that hard to keep the GT5 content all in one place!!

Ok, so as we ready ourselves for the final run in our NSX's we arrive at the first of a 'few' Endurance races

Spa then next week Northlander to finish off Season 5 👍

As you know we will run 2 Endurance races during December in our S6 Champ & Club cars...well, Facebook CORE members will have seen I plan an extra special Endurance race at the end of November now - Friday 23rd to be exact!

The reason for this is to basically test out the new FTTC Broadband that is planned to go live on the Thursday, so all going to plan, I'd like to officially announce this 1 off CORE SE (Special Event) race. Here's a clue where it will be

Yup, both Endurances feature Heavy Damage, don't worry, S6 doesn't use it...

Also when I list any numbers regarding weather, I'm taking it as you would read it in the online lounge so from left to right, top to bottom...

Time (24hr) - Time Progression (1-10)

Weather (at start as a %) - Weather Changeability (1-10)

Surface Water (as a %)

So 25% 5/10 0% is what Spa will be tonight 👍

Other examples could be 20:00 1 0% 10/10 30% etc...
