Should be good, and we've all had a lot of practice :D

Looking forward to it,had some practice and got into the low 1:13's. Still chasing that elusive 1:12 though.

Finally race day approaches! Nearly happy hour here at work - straight home for a couple cheeky real ales before our blast around GVE/R :D

(It's been a weird shift this week!)

Gutting. I'm really sorry but I can't make it tonight chaps. Was really looking forward to this track as well.... Damn those login issues last week!

Hope you have a great race :)

Its not letting me in...[768] Host incompatible...

Rebooting my Router did not help...still wont let me join the lounge. Something wants to keep me from racing in core this season...

Edit 2: I can join Ade's and Geordie's lounges fine...Omnius your router is racist again Q_Q

Well that was fun! Really enjoyed it tonight, excellent racing from everyone 👍 Just wish I hadn't been disconnected in the 2nd race, I was looking forward to seeing how that battle would play out for me. But at least I got to come back to see the finish. Good stuff guys and well done to johnkiller for the double tonight 👍

I'll second that Dowlin!

An EPIC race indeed guys :) Both heats were a shinning example of absolute killer race-craft from everyone :)

Congrats to Johan for the double 👍 but also many thanks to everyone for making round 2 a perfect introduction to season 6 of our 86's, BRZ's and FR-S's!

Highlights to follow...

POINTS SYSTEM

In addition to the CPP

Pole position = +3 pts
'Sitting out' of a race = 0 pts
Disconnection = % (Rounded up) of pts vs laps
Unclean Driving/Corner Cutting (Following Replay) = -50% (Rounded down)
Incorrect Car/Setup (After warning) = -100% pts
Missing Mandatory Pit-Stop = -30 Seconds from final time

I'd just like to remind everyone of the point system I run in the CORE GT Series...as well as the penalties...more to follow :indiff:

Nothing to worry about just yet...hang in there :)

In other news...

Cheviot GTX is up on share! Our first Northumberland Park Series of custom race tracks for Season 6 👍 👍 👍

Regulars will have noticed that the fan favourite of the CORE, Cheviot GT has reappeared this season as GTX - Fear not fellow racers, Cheviot GT is still the flagship track of the CORE GT Series, what we have here is a special 'additional' layout.

That's right gents! The Cheviot GT has evolved!!! Think of it like most real world circuits that have alternative routes...Nurburgring GP/F & GP/D spring to mind

Just be prepared for a slight change in the 'back section' from the GT variant :sly: So we now have the same classic track with a newly designed outfield area, specially created for season 6 and the MX-5 TC :D

Johnkiller2 has decided to retire from Season 6. After I questioned him on the Carbon Hood he had fitted to his 86GT...

Hi Omnius,

Yes, I used an old car that I had in the race to save the time of having to break in a new one.

I'm not a great fan of a car regulation which is not water tight, ie its easy to dedect what everyone are using. The Mazda TC regulation is perfect but the club race one is not in my opinion.

You have a great group racing toghether and have a lot o fun. Even if I will have close racing with "Hillracing" there are not that many more to race with for me. That is always the risk when joining a new group.

So I will retire from the championship, and I do wish you all great close racing in the championship to come.

Thanks for taking the time to try out the CORE GT Series 👍
