OK, that was not obvious, though...
Hey, Omnius, do you have contacts with PD? the new OCD is bang on!
 
When in GT Auto, as you know the wing is either Standard, A, B or C.

So on the main page, each race will have one of those options detailed.

If the car has a wing as default when bought, thats fine (normally you won't be able to adjust the downforce) but front, rear and extension aero is allowed at anytime, mostly you only get a cosmetic appearance anyway, and to be honest some cars just don't suit the rear wing regardless of what performance gains you get.

Well,Got a bit practice on spa last night for the LMP race,anyone else finding their tyres are shagged after 5 laps or is it just me?
 
Oh yes! No chance not to pit this time! It will be interesting thats for sure. So will it be a 1 or 2 stop strategy???? :)

Does the Dome Zero count as a production car? I think it maybe says concept in its name though. Im having bother getting anywhere close to PP limit for the second race :(
 
Don't know about the Dome but there's a Nissan 240ZG in the online dealership that can brought up to the pp level.
 
Im looking forward to the second race in the 70s Japanese classics tonight having just destroyed my bank balance on a car I probably wont use in the first race, and not even picked a car for the third. :banghead: Time to have a look now.

Hello all Core GT members :)

Myself and some other guys have started up a casual racing group that we initially called C.O.R.E which stands for Casual Online Racing Enthusiasts.

Clearly this conflicts with the name of your group and, since we wish to tread on no toes, I am seeking approval to use the name with the full stops in it.

If this is a problem then I totally understand and we will happily change our name so let us know. We love our name and would love to keep it so that's why I ask, like I said though we are happy to change if it's an issue :)

Let me know!

So short of anyone getting mixed up and coming to the wrong one its up to you, if you want a bit more individuality how about C.A.R.S. - Casual Auto Racing Specialists? :)

If you are just starting up this group, people may think you're attached to us as I've been on here for a while now, and those who didn't find that my group was for them may effect your group???

The first race was a bit of a handful, lots of 'accidents' in the first few laps, but I don't think from reviewing the replay that they were done to 'cheat'


There was a couple of you who stretched the rule regarding cutting corners, but giving the fact this is a new track to GT5 and the fact we were using such high powered cars and it only really happened in the first few laps I'm prepared to let this go as it didn't really have any impact on the finishing positions. As for not using the penalty system - I feel it can be a bit too strong even on weak, plus we don't want slow moving ghost cards all over the place, its just not real! AND what happens when you do have an accident and slide off, only to be hit with a 3-4 second slowdown :tud:


After looking at the replay for Race 3, there was a mention that BUCHANPOWER had a wing on his car, but as was explained on the night, he dialed off any Downforce and from the replay its quite clear the only benefit he got was from the ones in front going off and gifting the place rather than an actual performance boost from having the wing. Also there was an ongoing battle with myself, R063R, jamesy and geordie. As clean and fast as the battle was going, we all showed good car control, but unfortunatley I got my braking wrong, and at the wrong time, R063R came off worse, figuring I'd messed up I took my car onto the grass to give R063R time to at least remain a place in front of me, but in finishing 5th (he was in 3rd at the time of the accident), I will award R063R the points difference from my own points, so 5 extra points to R063R to make him up to 15, from my 8 points leaving me 3.

So clearing that up it was good to have NA here for one last blast! Enjoy MW3 matey! ...oh and it didn't rain afterall :)

Hey don't mention it, and I know where you're coming from with other groups names, we all like something unique to our own.

I bet Metal bands go through this all the time :) 👍
 
Ha ha, thats the first time ive ended up with more points than Omnius at Nurburgring.
