I have found many pictures of cars with the spiraling zebra print. I can post if needed. I know the comaro was the first car i ever had seen with that particular black out

Just took some good quality screenshots from the teaser. With these and the video of the Camo'd car in GT5 as well as pics from it, we can really begin to do some digging.

Corvette2014Screenshot1.jpg

Looks like the front left, Shape leading edge to the Front lip of the car.

A small look at the stitching on the door

Corvette2014Screenshot3.jpg

Tricky shot with what looks to be louvers, perhaps in the Hood?

Corvette2014Screenshot4.jpg

Unmistakably, the Grille

Corvette2014Screenshot5.jpg

To the best of my effort, a shot of what looks like a lack of the usual Corvette hood budge

Corvette2014Screenshot6.jpg

Having a very hard time with this. After studying the lines of the spyshots and the video, I think this could be a vent near the rear window

Edit: Disregard, its just the exhausts.

Corvette2014Screenshot7.jpg

To those who were hoping for the round Tail lights to return, It looks like they aren't coming back.

Also, Some spyshots here. Most interestingly, theres a picture showing a whole lot of these C7 prototypes in one setting.

EDIT: Found this interesting info, apparently, that teaser isn't the only one we're supposed to see:

The first, called “Conception” will be available by November 15, just under a month from today. The second will be “Calibration”, and will be revealed on November 29. “Craft” will be unlocked on December 13, while the final video, “Creation” will be shown off on January 10, 2013 — just days before the official unveiling of the Corvette C7 on Sunday, January 13, 2013.

I would guess that's the exhaust.

That would be a strange place to sit the exhaust, I think it might just be like sort of rear louvers or vents.

Also, I've just come across the Jalopnik Render (can't believe how behind I am ) and I have to say, that render is frightningly close to what I see in the video. Another strange thing is this car has a spoiler, something that usually isn't standard on Base model Corvettes. Is this a performance version we're looking at, maybe something along the lines of the ZR-1?

I think what you see to the left of the image is the ground.

Ah crap, I think it is . Having looked at it again, I now see that it is exhausts and not vents. Just that angle had me thinking it was vents of some sort. Well, we can disregard that part now that its revealed to be what we've already seen.

2013 Corvette 8-speed auto gearbox not ready yet

World Car Fans
A short-term agreement with Aisin for an 8-speed auto

The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette (C7) might be sold at first with an Aisin eight-speed automatic transmission.

The reason for this is because GM’s own 8-speed auto unit will not be ready upon launch, following its debut in January at the Detroit Auto Show. GM wants this to be a short-term agreement with the Japanese transmission supplier until they can fix all the bugs from their in-house developed gearbox.

I like that. Better to use something they know works instead of releasing an unfinished project (like GT5)

Well, automakers don't have the luxury of patching cars after they are made and sold like video game developers do.

Next time you compare something, make it a better comparison.

They do... It's normally referred to as a recall and they can be expensive and bad for they're image.. :-)

Not quite. Very bad comparison because sending out a patch to a game isn't quite the same as getting back all the vehicles, two completely different things.

Did you see the smile at end of my comment? ( I kid I kid ). Did read my comment?

Yes they do, they're called "RECALLS"

Annnnnnddd, its Screen capping time.

Edit: And here's the pics:

These are interesting, they all share some cues with the Sting ray concept (ironically located at the Top left of the first picture). More and more, this new Corvette screams it to me

Corvette2014Screenshot10.jpg

Pointed nose, keeping a similar look to the C6. Splitter looks interesting though.
Corvette2014Screenshot11.jpg

By far, the best look at the Spoiler. Once again, a possible indicator at a performance version.

Corvette2014Screenshot12.jpg

Head lamps holes. These are gonna be some interesting headlights

Corvette2014Screenshot13.jpg

Even while this is blurry, you can clearly see the shape or the roofline, which is very similar to the C6.

I feel like the time since 2005 has just flown by. I know the C6 is fairly oldish, but it just doesn't seem that way in my head.

Agreed, still looks great everyday. Of course, that's just my childhood fanboyism at heart...

Same. C6 Z06 here I come in a few years :D Besides I want a long term juiced up C6 Z anyway, but especially if the C7 turns out to look like ****. I'll just get Recaros for it.

The design of the C6 was fantastic, in my opinion. It looks good, yet has aged very well and is instantly recognisable as a Corvette. I hope the C7 is as good.

Every Corvette has been instantly recognizable  not just the C6. However, I do agree, the C6 is a very nice car to look at

Hmmm, not alot to screencap this time around but nevertheless, some interesting bits to get to.

Edit:

Upon closer inspection, much new things to take notice of.

Corvette2014Screenshot14.jpg

While blurry, you can clearly see the best uncamo'd shot of the Corvettes headlights. You can also see the Hood vents area very clearly

Corvette2014Screenshot15.jpg

Shot gives an interesting idea to the shape of the greenhouse from the b-piller onward. Also, a random Pontiac Soltice appears

Corvette2014Screenshot16.jpg

Finally a uncamo'd look at the steering wheel (which unsurprisingly has the new Corvette logo).

Corvette2014Screenshot17.jpg

Interesting layout. Judging by the C6 silouette, definately not final.

Corvette2014Screenshot18.jpg

Partially complete dash. You can see the gauges. Center console still not completely done.

Corvette2014Screenshot19.jpg

Interesting shot of the stuff underneith. Really good look at the shocks, axle and things.

Corvette2014Screenshot20.jpg

Even in blurry form, still visible. The spoiler is very visable, looks alot like the current spoiler on the 60th Anniversary ZR1.

I know these are GT5 pics, but maybe some of you find them interesting (some glitching involved):
Outer taillights:

Inner taillights:

Headlights:

Grill:

Rear:

I spotted something interesting about the shape of the backend, it reminds me a bit of the late C3, hope you know what I mean when you take a look at this:

Its butt isn't flat, there's a curve.

Noticed that as well from in-game. In a couple of photomode locations, I was able to get the sun to shine right in on that area and snapped a pic of it. I also got a very good shot of the grille, which as I first thought is almost spot on with the Stingray concept.

Well looks like the keeping the round rear lights....really thought they were gonna go Camaro Route on rear. and spliting the front lights in to individual units.....risky
