I hope they're wrong. The C6 is gorgeous from start till the end.

That rendering, not so much.

the road and track cover is real... so is this rear shot you can see the reflections

its very (very) camaro in the rear with the high boxy lines above the tailights mixed with a lot of viper up front. so far i like the front not with the boomarang lights and 458 LED not sure about the rear though.

Front looks awesome. Meaner then the candy looking viper.

Back is ugly. Could look different in real life though.

the 4 tailpipes together look very much like a non production concept car to me. not sure how its will translate in real life

Thats how its been since the C5. A lot of after market exhausts would space them out evenly like you see in the picture above.

So what you're saying is the rear looks like a Chevrolet and the front looks like a low-slung, big-engined, rear wheel drive sports car? Oh, okay. Just making sure we were talking about the Corvette here.

It's still 2 dual exhausts like it had been on the C6. It's just closer due to the smaller gap for the exhaust.

Rear end looks horrible. Front looks like exactly like a Viper. If the Viper can beat the Z06 on a track I won't be able to think of any reason why anyone would like the C7 over the new Viper.

Because its a corvette. Because the front end looks way better then the viper.

Because its got an LS series motor in it.

Because its not a dodge.

Let's wait until we actually see the whole car (and official pictures) before deciding if we like it or not..

Well the front looks exactly the same as the Viper from what we've seen and the rear looks like a smashed Camaro. From recent GM designs, I don't have high hopes for the rest of the car.

Because its not a dodge.

This is new Dodge. This is Fiat and Ferrari technology Dodge.

On the other hand new GM is the US Government and has repeatedly been getting its butt kicked by competitors.

Damn, Jalopnik is on a roll. How have they not been shot yet for these leaks?

As for looking at it just from the now leaked Road & Track page, looks spectacular. Actually, it looks even better then what the initial render showed. I'm know I'm probably one of only two people in here that think so, but I love it.

This. Seriously, some of yall are jumping the gun real hard. To only be seeing artist interpretations, mocks ups, and leaked renders from manuals and non shaded 3D models renderings, yall seem to have it all figured out. lol

Err those are the real pictures. The car will be shown Sunday in Detroit so it's not like there isn't a real Corvette floating around.

And this thread has now turned in a Viper vs Corvette thread

You drive a POS Cobalt for a year and tell me how you like it. 👎

Nissan, Mazda FTW.

No thanks. All their new cars I hate just as much as every other new car on the road today.

Their old stuff is/was the best. Really, the only nice ones are the Corvette, Camaro and pickups.

Didn't see that coming. :indiff:
