Lies. They might be for some...
If they're not, report it.

How do I get an authorized COVID-19 vaccine?

Search vaccines.gov, text your ZIP code to 438829, or call 1-800-232-0233 to find COVID-19 vaccine locations near you in the U.S. In some states, information may be limited while vaccination providers and pharmacies are being added. Contact your state health department to find additional vaccination locations in your area.

FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccines are distributed for free by states and local communities. You cannot buy COVID-19 vaccines online. You do not need to pay any out-of-pocket costs to get an authorized COVID-19 vaccine — not before, during, or after your appointment. If someone asks you to pay for your vaccine, it is either a scam or a mistake.

Heh.

That doesn't at all disprove that vaccines are free. In fact, the quote even addresses that.
Doesn't prove they are widely available either, even though I don't want one.
I'll take a picture tomorrow at my local Wal-Mart, sign literally says "at little to no cost".
Costs me $125 to just see my doc, if she even comes in the room.

Only free places I've seen are like the Falcons training camp, you get to watch them and get sick from something you weren't sick from.

You're moving goal posts from "it's not free" to "it's not widely available" & creating a response to an argument I have not made....

Nevertheless, Googling your town in GA shows plenty of places offering it within' a 30-minute drive. Highlighting that of course you don't want one; bothering to actually make the effort would disprove your claims about it not being free or widely available.

Well your thing you posted is full of **** then.
Y'all are moving the ****ing goalposts.
My claim was someone will sell/buy something regardless of consequences.

Even with the new CDC recommendation that vaccinated people wear masks, the biggest difference this time around I am seeing with signage on store fronts is that the words "encouraged" and "recommended" are being used instead of "required". Just an observation.

And yet you're doing it again rounding back to buying fake vaccine cards. I don't care what someone will do regardless of consequences in this particular instance; it takes a real dummy to buy/make a fake vaccine card that has the potential of 5 years in prison (before the state charges) all to bypass something that's free to begin with or just take their business elsewhere.

Sunday Times has posted an investigation into China's influence over the WHO.

If you can get a free trial I recommend it as it's a detailed (over 10k words) account tracing China's actions from the SARS outbreak of 2003 to the present day.

I think these pictures, which summarise the investigation are ok to share:

Yes, I think we can share these images under 'Fair Use' provisions.

I have just read the article myself - a virologist friend of mine shared it on social media, even though he will probably have to delete it because it's circumventing The Times paywall, but readers in the UK can legally access the full article by using their free trial of The Times website if they want.

It's pretty damning, though as my friend points out, it is rather one-sided. That said, that's kind of the point - if the WHO, China and various others aren't bothering to respond or are responding in a way that leaves key questions unanswered, then it is not surprising that it might come across as one-sided.

It is so ****ing awesome seeing counties and school boards violate idiot bans by right trash governors prohibiting mask mandates. It makes these ****ers look so effete and impotent. MoRon, Rolling Blunder and any other feckless ****s need to stop using children as pawns for political gain.

Georgia school reportedly shuts down 11 public schools as Covid cases rise.
As of Friday in Ware schools, 76 students had tested positive for COVID-19, and another 679 students were quarantined, out of a total of 5,900 students. Smith said 353 students were quarantined because of exposure outside of school, according to WJXT.

Among the district’s 950 school employees, 67 have tested positive and an additional 150 have been quarantined.

And in sadder news.
“If you look at those individuals under the age of 12, what you find is that it is very rare that kids under the age of 12 have anything other than the sniffles,” the governor said. “Does it happen from time to time? Sure it does. I believe we have had one fatality of an individual, maybe it could’ve been two—I think there’s three under the age of 18 at this time? Two?”

The nerve of some people! Somebody started yapping at me with their god awful big mouth for wearing a mask!

Ridiculous ****ers.

I mean, nothing wrong with it, right?
Happened to me (although many months ago) as well, when someone saw me walk into a store and made some anti-semitic remarks to boot.

I have no idea who this Scottish fella is, but hmm.

:odd:

At least I should thank him for keeping his thick accent in check so that I could understand him.

Apparently soon there will be a push for a booster 3rd shot requirement for all those who got the mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) to occur 8 months after 2nd inoculation. For myself, that would mean I would get the 3rd shot in mid-October. I do know that Israel has been inoculating many with a 3rd shot, but aside from there I haven't heard anything about the AZ recipients (or J&J) requiring a 3rd dose. Has the UK come forward with anything yet?

No doubt Neil Oliver's most crass tantrum yet, but not the first. Last year he was bellyaching about cancel culture, more recently bleating 'hypocrisy' about restrictions for most while G7 and Wembley etc were maskless. Well, maybe his anti-vax sentiment is why his spring 2022 tour 'Does history repeat itself?' with Nick Knowles has been cancelled.

Comparing our loss of freedoms to the freedom fought for in WW2? Not much of a historian, considering the lockdowns and many other restrictions in place during - and after - the war. He'd be the one refusing to blackout his home: 'For the sake of freedom - yours and mine - I will cheerfully risk you getting bombed.' After all, only about 70,000 civilians were killed in Britain by bombs and so on, so it's 'low risk', right?

It seems almost certain we'll do some, at least for the most vulnerable, but the scope of it is still under discussion.

I'm thinking we'll see less falloff than seen in the Israel study thanks to having a considerably longer gap between doses, but we won't know until it's measured.

At this point, the Janssen (J&J) Covid vaccine is just one dose. It was super convenient only have to make one trip. Part of me wants the Pfizer and Moderna, so this can happen to me:

Also, I would be holding out hope for the 5G side effect.

Booster shots, as expected, will be needed and I’m glad they are going to do it for everyone. I don’t know why they didn’t change the message sooner, but I guess most people, who don’t know how vaccines and viruses work, thought it was one and done, so they didn’t want to blow their mind so to speak.

It COULD have been one (or two) and done, if there was some type of herd immunity achieved. Sadly, that probably will never happen.

Neil Oliver is a 'celebrity historian' who endeared himself to the nation by presenting the popular BBC TV series, Coast, and then specialised in the popularisation of history with docu-series on the History of Scotland and Vikings, amongst others.

Since then, his career has taken a slight downturn - akin to a Boeing 747 suddenly losing power at 38,000 ft - culminating in the calamitous career move that is becoming a presenter on the newly minted 'news' channel, GB News.

GB News started off badly and it has been all downhill since. Founder Andrew Neil realised that the UK didn't have (but apparently really needed) a dedicated channel for UK nationalists, Brexiteers/EU-haters, right-wingers, neo-fascists, flag-shaggers, Karens, bigots, anti-immigrant arseholes, the hard-of-thinking, lockdown skeptics, anti-vaxxers and other Covidiots, and so GB News was born.

Given the enormous potential audience, initial viewing figures were disappointing, and then they dropped even further when it became apparent that GB News wasn't being right-wing enough and so a boycott was arranged in protest which resulted in the channel hitting zero viewers at one point, possibly for the first time in UK television history since Keith Chegwin got his cock and balls out on Naked Jungle in 2000 - even that had more gravitas than GB News, and it's debatable which had the most sorry-looking dicks, fannies and arseholes on display at any particular moment.
