CRAP DiRT Rally Club [PS4] Racenet League Events live

There were MANY Norwegians on GT5 section but most of them drifts.. I'll pm you if I see a cheap wheel somewhere đź‘Ť it's a must have on ps4! Tax return is the 22nd. Not far away *hinthintwinkwink* ;)

I really want one, but money is low, and I can just imagine how my woman is going too react if I use the tax money for a wheel, when I promised her a vacation this summer  So far I am lucky she is hooked on some books latly, so I get the TV for my self đź‘Ť

But I hope I can fix it soon, mostly because its much more fun, but I am also faster and more consistent, but was a positive suprise how dirt handle with controller

@Eyeseeh50 - I love rally because of the ridiculous skill of the drivers, I've always said to anyone who'd listen that it's the navigator's who have to pack their balls in the trunk, 'cause they wouldn't fit in the cabin. That's really cool!! I truly envy Europeans because of the exposure to rallying. It's really not big in Canada...which doesn't make much sense as we definitely have the space and ridiculous roads to do it on. Thanks heavens for the internet. It makes it easier to keep up...but it's only really the WRC I watch, 'cause I just don't know what else is out there.

So cruel. And so freakin' awesome!! It's the only racing sim I've ever driven where not winning isn't the end of the world. I'll see you on the stages in the 60s class. By the bye, I've only ever driven the Mini. Can I be competitive in that?
I'm also hoping the mini is competitive as I did some recce for the next event last night and the mini was my personal favourite. I think the Alpine will be the fastest car but I just can't get a handle on the Scandinavian flick with any of the rear wheel drive cars in the game at the moment. If nothing else we can have a personal battle as to who is quickest in the mini.

Dude (can I call you dude?) I'm glad you said that. I struggle mightily keeping any of the RWD cars on the road, even. I never get going fast enough for the "flick". I think it's because in real life I've only ever owned either FWD or AWD. I practice. Alone. To make sure nobody can bear witness :)
I also have a hard time with those Group B monsters. Those are hard to handle as well...no wonder those things were banned. Hey, maybe you can answer an ignorant Canadian question. Why were they called "Group B" when they were by far the fastest, most powerful vehicles in rally?
By the bye, I dig your suggestion. The Mini it is...even if the rest of the field smokes us.

I don't know why the group names where chosen by the FIA at the time. I can remember in the late 70's that it was group numbers, group 4 being the top of the tree. Early eighties and we had group a, b and the planned group so. The group B monsters where stunning to watch in the forests.
In DR I really like the handling of the Audi Quattro group B car, great fun.

Never tried the mini, only in RX, and I love it there, but no one use it online.

Planning on going back to the 60s myself But think I will go for the Alpine, mini was nice in RX, but needed some tuning, have a feeling the Alpine is more fun with stock tuning.

Wich car is the fastest in the class?

I would say that the Alpine is the fastest in the class. I've made a very eclectic choice of stages for the last event so you need a car you feel is a good all rounder.

When it comes to PCars - I imagine that that's more time specific, eh? We all have to be on-line at the same time? That's a surprisingly good circuit sim....but I'm worried to join and then not be able to race due to time differences, yada, yada and run the risk of annoying you guys...

We have members from all over the world covering most time zones . Regular times tend to be evening UK midweek but we do run events and have casual ad hoc meet ups at other times. At the weekends there is often someone online throughout the weekends. There's nothing wrong even if you can only make one event every month (or less). The whole point of CRAP is to also include those of us who can't always commit to regular times or series alongside our more regular racers.

Try it. Most of us don't bite ;)

I dont really race pcars anymore, maybe I have not found right setup for the controller, but I feel its a game I need a wheel too enjoy, I am more used too wheel when it comes to driving games, so its hard too adjust too not having a wheel for the ps4, maybe I need to experiment abit more with the settings.

Try this setup. I think I've adjusted the speed sensitivity ocassionally when driving some more extreme cars. I use a wheel when I can but because it's not permanently set up I use a DS4 quite a bit. Good luck.

It's full name is Group B#stard

We may have to abandon the final event in our current season if Codemasters doesn't come up with a fix to the problem with T300rs wheels. Fingers crossed it's sorted soon.

For once, I am happy I don't have a wheel, but it seems they will fix it soon :) I am very happy with the changes in physics on pikes peak, on gravel I am slower so far, but I really like the feel of on tarmac now, finally got a good feel with the modern Peugeot, 1.place on full course, if not counting the guy who are minutes ahead, don't now how, but that must be cheating

But understand pikes is not very popular, but too me, it's a new nurburgring, just want more cars!

I think it's a shame you can't use all the cars on the hillclimb!

What happened to the calibrate wheel option in the controls menu? And the soft lock? I tried doing the stages today and I had to turn the wheel the full 900 to get and steering done.
Edit: nevermind just read what happened

Here are the results at the end of event 3

With the current problems with the game and wheel support I'm not sure what will happen with event 4. As I write this we have a name on the leader board so I guess its only fair to let it run. I hope we get a fix from codies before the 7 days is up. See you on the stages and keep it shiny side up!

Definitely hope a fix comes through 'cause I've finished this week's event and I think I was pretty fast. It'd be a shame to waste some pretty consistent driving :(
I'm hoping it gets fixed soon as the end of the week is going to be busy for me as we are starting with the silage crop and I won't have time for the game.
If you have had a good run you may already have this event in the bag!

The Alpine is a lot quicker than any other car in the 60s class (maybe because it's from the 1970s), the Mini was probably better in Finland with its stability but everywhere it feels like it should be a class above.

I changed my pace notes to 'early' for this rally which really helped with finding a nice steady rhythm, not too fast but not a single penalty picked up.

Think you are right, my first run, who was without big mistakes, I got a huge lead, and max amount of time I lost in the other stages, was around 10 sec with 2-3 small crashes
