I downloaded Oakland Park tonight. I'm really going to try to make it to the race on Sunday. I still have to make sure I know what time it will take place in my timezone, US central time.
I just have a question regarding car choices: I see that the hp will be limited to 550, but I'm not clear on what cars are allowed or are not allowed for the race yet. Any cars or just a specific class? Thanks to anyone who replies. I'll be in my lounge or the CRAP casual lounge practicing and testing for the upcoming race tonight if anyone wants to join me.
G'day Yeti
I decided to leave it open and just restrict BHP. Well, NSX's are not allowed (hehehe) or drivers called ken
but anything else goes!
I think I had tyre choice open? I can't remember if i limited it to RM or RH or left open... Can anyone confirm? Apologies but I have a sheetload of stuff on so the little things like this get forgotten
EDIT: Thanks Rice - Med's or Hards folks
Timely to remind folks:
1- There is 13 hours and 45 minutes left to register.
the race will be starting (with Qual first) at 8am ACDST on Sunday. For those USA and Canada folks that is about 5pm on Saturday, depending on timezone, but please confirm local time.
2- It is preferred you have your vehicle fully tuned and ready to go so you do not need to leave the pit area during qualifying.
3- The essence is to have fun and try to race clean. Naturally this is not always possible and all i ask is that you all try at least. No one will get in your face or boot you for it but please try and minimise bumps and cutting off other drivers. Penalties will be off for it as I do not believe we need them but I ask you all to keep an eye out for any shenannigans and let me know if you see anything.
4- Please do not rage quit. If you are the type of guy who quits if he realises he won't win then please stay on track for this one, it does lessen the experience for the rest if drivers leave mid race.
5- Please try and ensure optimum comfort levels are attainable. This is an enduro so you will be in one spot for a couple of hours, unless you have another driver which is fine, so a toilet break a drink or two and something to snack on are all recommended. Ensure your posture is at least decent to avoid strained back muscles etc.
Lastly (no doubt I forgot something) please ensure that nothing else is using your internet! No one wants to hit lap 48 in first place (beating ken = good luck
) only to drop out due to internet outage... Seriously make sure that the chances of interweb outage is as minimal as possible!
Thanks guys
