Hi. I am unable to run the 500pp European road car event today as my wife is ill and I have to take my son to his swimming lesson. Hopefully another member can take control. You can see the exact regulations for the event by going to the event in the community section. If you open a room in the event (after joining event) you can then save the room setup to your PS3 which you can then load from the main lobby setup screen. The plan was to have this as an open to non members room but if you prefer run it private. It's up to you.

I'll post a link to my flickr account with a few images of how to do it.

Edit - you can scroll through these images for a bit of help. Obviously you need to set the PP at 500 and remove bhp and weight restrictions where appropriate.

Driving aids: All except SRF (Skid Recovery Force) can be used. Some of us don't use extra driving aids in the game, however you can use whichever ones you like.

I have set the tyres to SM and the first track will be Le Sarthe '09 3 laps to begin with then we will have mixed tracks chosen by those present.

What an afternoon as you could all see I am new to racing (always last ) and this was my first time at hosting a room .

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did, I think I gave everyone a chance to choose a track if not please do not take it personally it was down to me being a novice.

On reflection I did make a couple of mistakes that I am aware of and will rectify for next time .

A big THANKS to everyone 👍 for making the afternoon so enjoyable and I hope to see you all again maybe next Saturday?

The next time I host a room I will take screen shots of the race results and cars used plus save the races and post a few pics from them no good having an open lobby to show the club off then doing nothing afterwards on the forums to show how well it all went.

Oh well lesson learnt for next time.

On the GT6 club and event I put the date in for this but forgot to set the track. It doesn't really matter as you'll be using the main club lobby.

TRIS_73 is going to host an open lobby event this weekend. It will start in the main CRAP Racing lobby. If he's not there just set the room up yourself. I hope to join for an hour.

Tracks will be mixed / chosen by you.

450pp Road cars.
SS Tyres.
Tuning allowed.
SRF not allowed
Other aids are available for those who want them.
Damage will be on light.

The room will be a public one but we will be expecting all drivers to abide by the usual GTP / CRAP fair play rules.

Note that the event will be held in the main CRAP club lobby. A room will not be created using the club event itself.

Had another good night on Wednesday with Lissa, Iain and Peter then I realised at about 9am that I had left the room on club only .

Once the room opened Mad-Max-382 joined us for a few laps and a couple of races and about 10.20pm Mad and myself went to Brands hatch for one last race.

I remembered to save one of the races and have taken some pics nothing special as this is also my first time in this area.

I'm going to be running these cars tonight from around 8pm for an unknown time. Not to confuse this with tomorrow's regular racing linked above. We have run these cars before so you may have a few set up. Remember race or road hot hatches but set up as racers

RH tyres
Extra large wing (custom ones now paintable)
Racing brakes (paintable)
full racing exhaust

Everything else is optional except all AIDS are off. That includes ABS so do check your brake balance as it might need lowering especially once racing brakes are fitted. Tonight my plan is to run a few medium length races.
