Create Custom Driver Avatars skin color options, Or A variety of Drivers to choose from in GT 7

Of course, the whole point isn't whether you're black or white. (It doesn't matter). The point is it would be nice if you could make your avatar whatever color you are.

And for the "that doesn't matter" either crowd, remember... we have gained changeable rims, photomode, photo-travel, online garages, race suits, race helmets, collectable race suits and helmets and paint-chips and etceterae all within the last decade. And none of that affect how the in-game racing works out.

It's likely Gran Turismo will get to driver customization, eventually... whether any of us like it or not.

Finally somebody gets it!!!! This is next level Sim Racing ideology, This could open up Avatar podium presentations in the Game without helmets, Avatars holding trophies squirting Champagne, now that would be cool!!

I just made this A suggestion for GT 7, if you think this would be cool too please vote yes for it (In Suggestions).

It's obvious that gender, skin and colour don't matter. But I think that you shouldn't have a choice to make your character fat.

Feminists have really become annoying with their critics, for example GTA V

I understand that some people may think ethnic diversity in the Gran Turismo series Driver Avatars is unnecessary, and I bet those same people may think other races in the world are unnecessary, The Sony Entertainment Network allows world wide competition of Diverse Nations which is GREAT, we can compete and make new friends all over the world from our living rooms, requesting the ability to reflect that diversity is harmless, everyone should be proud of their race, and since ethnic diversity is real, put it in the game, why would anyone want to directly or indirectly suppress another gamer's request to reflect our skin tones, how is voicing that hurting anyone, it is A simple point that could be addressed without controversy, I don't understand why the word racism is even mentioned in this thread, Racism is exalting one Race above another, or claiming superiority, That is not the goal of this thread, This thread is a simple request that ethnic diversity is optional to be represented by every player, It is so sad that the true colors of some has been revealed in our GT community.

Look man I'm trying to figure out why you're even quoting me I'm an African American male, but to me of all the things I've griped/complained/moaned about over and over again. This right here is so far down my own list I've never even thought about it.

@Johnnypenso is correct if they decided to add it in GREAT! Fan*******tastic, but at the end of the day I'm saying fix the actual more important crap first.

Just to give you an example how far down the list this is I've rather have proper skid-marks on tracks, or even leaves flowing in the wind when you pass by. Which is to say I honestly give no............you know about ethnic/gender of the driver as it stands currently........ Well actually having a female driver would be nice for our follow female GT players.

I need to be able to have twins or triplets as well that is absolute must. Oh they need to attend school to.........virtual GT Academy school?

I was just responding to your sarcasm, trying to keep this thread on topic, nothing personal Zuku, I realize this is A game, but many people of color around the world really enjoy it, and want to fully immerse in it, and the more options the better, and I feel the same way, but nothing personal bro. I'm just meticulous like that, if you look at my driver avatar, it is as close to looking like Lewis Hamilton's Race suit as I could possibly get, if I could I would like for it to have A beard like me, getting my cars paint and wheels perfect could take hours, all of my cars are in team manufacturers colors, but that's me, so you and I are different when it comes to the nuances of this game, but we all want more realism. peace.

LOL!!! That's funny, Can't have a light car and a fat driver, that will effect your power to weight ratio.

GT7's version of the 200 A-Spec point challenge... winning a Go Kart series with a 300 pound driver.

That would be absolutely fascinating, actually.

If there's something to criticize, it will be criticized. If the criticism is invalid, you can ignore it, and it will go away. If it's valid, then you simply accept it's a valid criticism and fix the problem, or, if you're not in a position to fix it... move on.

However many people GTA ticks off, it's still one of the best selling games on the market. Because, like South Park, it basically offends everybody, and makes it a point of offending everybody equally.

.

Watching that would be hilarious

It would be great to see PDI make Custom Avatars in GT 7 one day, I think it will make a deeper personal immersion into the game, and once it is done you will see everyone who spoke negatively of the option have their avatar personalized. I wont throw this thread back in your faces, I promise. LOL!!

Someone mentioned something about resources. I was taking pics of my Ferrari and just looked at the marshalls and thought, well what have we here...

Come On @05XR8 This thread is about the Custom or Optional Driver Avatars only, the crowd doesn't personally represent anyone, as if you didn't realize, I see you have a personalize Avatar for your GT planet Account, but as I said before, when GT 7 offer Custom or Optional DRIVER Avatars, I won't throw this in the faces of all the cynics of this thread. :sly:

Ohh, I see. Wasn't this in a different forum? Didn't realize it's been moved to the suggestions box. Cool stuff. 👍

The pics were just to show others it can easily be implemented. :)

You'd have to be a hyper-feminist/(ethnicist?) to DEMAND that extra women/ethnic minorities/etcetera be hired to these posts regardless of qualifications. Yes, it's a problem. But forcing inclusion doesn't solve it. The root of the problem is in opportunities given at the very basic levels. You have to create a pool of talent, in both cases, that is deep enough for people to want to hire them.

The term is called SJW (social justice warrior). And given how things are going so far right now...

oh wait, someone also mentioned about kids avatars. dont want to leave the youngins out. 👍

Kids can't drive a race car, except maybe like junior karts or suchlike. ;)

What are you talking about tankuroded???? This thread is about making every facet of simulation similar to reality, hence the name Sim Racer, Which GT is suppose to be, You can customize every thing about your car: Color, Tires, Power, Performance, You can change your avatars suit, and helmet, but not his nationality or sex? He/She can't be similar to the person that is playing???, I'm glad Turn10 has the foresight, and the integrity to evolve with the times, the real world is bigger than the world that niky lives in. Turn10 is recognizing the diversity of it's customers, and the real racing world, and that's great.:)

Nationality is determined by the PSN flag, unless you meant changing flag to other than your PSN account. I'm all in for your suggestion, but that reply was not really relevant.

Welp, Turn 10 are ahead of the game.

Now that aspect is quite visible, therefore I approve 👍

Of course, I'd like to point out that its the ONLY game of its kind with this as not even the PC sims feature this.

Also, I see that embarrassment of a Female African American Racing driver still hasn't been removed from the first post (while one of the worst Caucasian Female drivers has been added).

I was responding to you quoting Niky, who seemed to be talking about equal employment or something, I was talking about your sex and Nationality i.e. Ethno-Racial group, Your appearance, Not the Flag, you can change a flag, or citizenship, but you are born into your Sex and Ethno-Racial group, Maybe the term Nationality was too broad, but your appearance is the topic of having your avatar resemble, just to be clear. Whatever your skin color, hair color, and your biological sex is should be an option to create in Gran Turismo 7, That is all that I am saying, and I'm glad you agree.

SJW is such a cop-out of a term. There are many, many people working legitimately to further the cause of the under-classes... to label them with a derogatory term (which, even more stupidly, isn't really derogatory) simply because of a few overzealous extremists simply smacks of smug privilege and bigotry.

And kids can too drive. One of our local autocross front-runners is twelve.

And if you want to raise a Formula driver, you've got to start them at around six to eight in karting.

I picked up my copy of Forza 6 yesterday, and my Xbox one and Wheel arrives today, I am so excited about Forza Motorsport 6 with all the options and diversity it offers, When the subject of a 2017 release for GT7 was asked, Kaz said "people should not wait so long" Well Kaz is right, I've waited long enough for Porsche, and turn 10 delivered, along with 60FPS, a big Premium Car list, not old Gen iterations of cars.
