OK, this is new...

I crashed into someone entering Turn 1, thought I was by him but there was another car in the next lane, where I tried to go around the first car. My Tomahawk was "damaged," meaning it wanted to turn left, and it was about 70 or 80 percent power. Apparently it had a downforce failure, as well, as this happened as I crested the hill after the second hard right:

I use RH tyres on a controller and I find that on the first lap I almost have to slow to about 50mph to make the first turn. For the first lap I just stick the car in 7th gear as well, it keeps the wheelspin manageable coming out of the two slow corners. Once the dry line appears at the start of the second lap whack it into 5th gear and you’re golden!
This is exactly how I do it also

Does someone have the PP settings for the Tomahawk X VGT for Racing Hard tyres now?

I can only find the ones for Sports Soft/Racing Intermediates which are fine but I preferred running the race on Racing Hards

Thanks for any replies or PM me if you don't want it to be picked up by search engines/etc if it has to stay private info!

Start from p.20 of this thread, I think there are multiple settings available (both full power and reduced power)

I've gone to the air there several times, also gone airborne coming out of the tunnel.

I’m usually stuck in “time out” damn near every lap LMAO. It’s ok, it’s a great time to take a gulp of coffee or whatever.

I want to use Tommy Hawk to also do the WTC 800 at Sardegna. But, I do the Tokyo run on Sport Softs. The 800pp requires Racing tires. With 1.12, the difference between RH and SS was 2nd gear, switching from 5 to 6 and vice versa. I don’t know what to adjust now to use Racing tires. I don’t care about getting it to 800pp.

I’ve also read that we should not have more than one Tuning Sheet. Is this accurate? Having one for Tokyo, Sardegna, and LeMans would make things more efficient.

I tried the FULL POWER tune. OH MY GOSH!!! Sure it was fun getting to 360mph heading into turn 1. Bouncing off the walls was not fun at all LOL.

What are good “safe” tunes for the other two grind races?

You can have multiple sheets. Max is 10. I used to duplicate different settings including different start tyres to play around.
If you want the tame version for Tokyo , you can check my setup

IM FM1 up till end of lap 6. Switch to RM. Fuel up to indicator only. Come out pits and remain FM1 all the way. I manage my best time of 16:44. Best lap 1:15.5. This is now my best setup. I get to rest in between for some pit action and maintain a fast setup for each lap.

I have another tame version that starts on RH which I use if I feel like going to sardegna. No , I didn’t use that for lemans seeing that the payout rate is not as good as Tokyo or sardegna

Are you all here to race real cars against each other, or just here to cheat and gain an advantage with a car that obviously has slot car characteristics.

Did you even beat this challenge at the beginning of your campaign with a real, competitive car?

Go play Wipeout if your into this sort of Fan Game.

I wouldn't worry about, doesn't really effect those who choose not to do it imo.

I'm getting older by the day. The reason I grind Tokyo is because I have rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and grinding is helping with strength, hand/foot/eyes working together, and to try to forget the pain for a little while. So if your mom/dad are slow on reflexes you might want to strap them into GT7. I'm using a G29 wheel not sure if controller has similar effects.

Not laughing at your condition of course, but that idea cracked me up. Fair play.

Maybe I should try it too. Is it fun for some?

edit:
My Tomahawk is ready! I hope it will be fun a bit at least.

It does get tedious but it also fun, when you nail a perfect lap and think`next time i could do a little faster`and the lap time pops up in purple.Another 825000k in the bank.Just do 3 or 4 races per day so as not to get too bored with it,then do other GT stuf.

LOL, I just had so much fun with creating my own tune. You move ballast for one cm and you have 100 PP difference. :D So good game...

I do 3 races a day to prevent from getting tedious... I still enjoy it and try to beat my best lap and that's what makes it tolerable

What Menu do I need to complete to unlock this race? I already have the car but nowhere to race it as I'm only on the Corvette menu( 27)

LOL, I did it with my Subaru WRX Gr.4 for about 28min. It was easy enough, but most probably I won't ever go to this race.

So, where is the fun part of driving super overpowered car against road cars? My Tomahawk has about 130000+kms and I've never driven it so far, nor I'd like to.

I have a 1,200hp ZR1 Corvette. It's just for the Novelty factor that people buy that car, as I did for that reason

Actually I bought it just to be able to get my 2 trophies for speed. Spa 24, Sardena, de la Sarthe are actually very nice ways to have super fun and make not bad Cr. per hour, but it's just me, IMHO. :)

I don't care anymore, I have about 410 cars in my garage, I need few more and I've never driven super boring car on Tokio Experss East Clockwise.

Blue moon bay at pan am world event. I cant remember the payout but it was our go-to grind place earlier.
550.000 Cr. per hour, far less than 3.300.000Cr. but you can do it AFK, so you are not bored to death at the end :) .

My fastest lap is 1'13" using boost on the straight and between some turns, I only brake twice and release my throttle one extra time for the second turn over the bridge. I have video for evidence!

I had to stop trying because I got some inflammation on my thumb from using boost with L1 and steering and braking at the same time. Now I try 12 laps without penalty not using boost, but have never succeeded.

Do you not use middle finger on break, index on L1 and keep thumb on steering? Trying to understand the inflammation on thumb from using L1 lol
