Found another glitched build, this time with the A45 AMG. However, this is with Bore Up S equipped, so unless it works without the part, a lot of you sadly won't get to try this out. Make sure you equip the widebody!
Nice 👍 what time can you get?

Just did it in around 27:10, with a few crashes. Pitted twice, at the end of Lap 6 and 9. So not terribly fast, but a fun option nonetheless.

EDIT: I just realised the diff can be tuned quite a bit without going over 600 PP. So I encourage all of you to try and see what diff tune is ideal for this car.

Looks like it can only be done with the special part,i tried a few different permatations but unfortunately as you know, you can be clicking this way and that way forever and get nowhere.Good find though.

In case A220 doesn't work someday,or if you don`t have the A220, you should try this, still as fast as ever

shift when the turbocharging value is(or close to)0.5bar, no pit stop for the whole race

Dodge is back japan. Tune in facebook.
Yup. It's a 582pp tune with Comfort Hard.

Not very drivable at higher speeds though.

edit: I'm concerned about what PD is going to do now. Tokyo is my favorite race. It'd be very sad to see them nerf this event...

Its actually not too bad,the second one that is.First one was hard work on the straight, this ones better.Good fun for a while.
@Arkseven .I cant see any reason for them to nerf the event because of this.We use the alpine which ii think is fast enough and more stable,or the ZR1,plus theres a few more doing the rounds and theyve not nerfed the payout.I know it doesnt mean they wont do something but IMO the tomahawk this time doesnt appear to be the missile it was before.
Its not stopping people from enjoying the game just gives another car to grind quicker.👍

That is true. I'm just worried thinking about PD actions.
First "nerf" was not allowing PP to be affect by tuned transmission. Second nerf came in little tweaks for supension and LSD.

With another 600pp for the Tomahawk, what PD will do now?

Set up for 600pp TomoHawk X.

I'm happy the tomahawk is back... I really did have fun grinding with that car... I did 3 races a day so 1 hour a day and get 2.4 million a day... but now that I got every single car in the game not sure I want to do this race again... I play Lemans just for fun and to stack up money for no reason lol.... currently I'm at 4.5 million but not sure it will be useful until the new dlc cars come out in a later update...

Here's my own tune for the Tomahawk X with a time of 20:29 for my first attempt. Under 20 minutes is doable.

Max i could is 21 min, every time i try to push this car over 300 is over kill, good thing is i could get 2:00 in penalties and still win, oh well, I just got done with spa 24hr and was bored out of my mind when i got wind that Dodge was back and four tries later It’s fun lolol, thanks everyone, i’m still confused about how the game calculates the tire settings but i am not complaining, lololol i just bought some dlc for that staff member in PD who let this change Slide lol

Couldn't get this to work. I followed it exactly as in the video.

Edit : Nevermind, finally got it to work.

Gotta admit I’m a bit bummed! Working so hard to get the 2J into the 23 minute range with 1:56 best lap, then this Tomahawk X tune comes out, and first try 21 minutes with a best lap of 1:35. Oh well, it was still fun and I learned a lot and got much better at driving difficult cars!

I hope a tune comes out that makes it stable over 240mph.

I never thought I would use the tomahawk x after I bought it, you really do figure it out the difficult cars though, it becomes second nature to avoid the AI going 280mph, it brought me back memories of Wipeout all over again LOL

GT7 is fun again 🤣🥸😎

Gallo literally came out of nowhere 👌🏻

Tried it out. Was doing 1:40-1:41. The 8C is the worse car on the grid. Chops off the nose right when passing. Causing a 10 second penalty after a wallride. Under 21+ minutes and tyres were only red caps. Never downshifting from 7th gear all race. I think I still had close to 20 laps in the tank.

Return of the King! But, is it worth doing the Tomahawk grind thing again? Having it race on Comfort compounds seems dodgy on those wet roads. It can't be faster than the Alpine or the 2J, I'd imagine.

Hmm, I can't adjust sixth gear like you have it, if I move slider just one nudge to left I get 663/599 and one nudge right 664/598 but I can't get 664/599 and I guess for those reasons having 797 PP and can't race Tokyo 600

Maybe I missed something but tomahawk goes for about 20 minutes and A220 for about 25 minutes, depending on this and that.
If you have a tune that makes A220 go for 20-ish minutes on Tokyo 600 please share it.

It’s only worth it if you have time. I mean, it’s not really worth it at all, but it’s available as a choice to earn money quicker.
It’s about 3-5 minutes or two and a half laps less, than using the Alpine and Chapparel. Again, 30 minutes and less, is just fine.
