If you set the rollbar to the rear setting on 3 it balanced it out insanely for me!! You should get close to 592pp if done right! This was using nanffaint’s setup though!
Can you please share the printscreen of your tune?

Low 19 Minutes and best lap 1:28 with AT. I am pretty pleased. Still hope there would be a tune with better tires. Grind is on again. Because this time i am pretty sure it won't survive some updates like the last one.

Couldn't get this to work. I followed it exactly as in the video.

Edit : Nevermind, finally got it to work.
How you got i also can reach, also cnt on fully customisiable differential?
Edit - done, in garage cnt reach less pp but in setings before race reach 498,80pp

Played around with CM tune and got it down to 754PP, but will have to tinker with it a bit more and see if I can get it below 600PP.
Tried SH tyres but could only manage to get it to 900PP :banghead: , so I think CM's are more promising.
If I can get the CM's to stick, it'd make the Tomo less slippery.
Back to the drawing board....

Yep, that's it... No way am I going to keep driving this without using Assists. I have more trouble with this car in a straightline than on the middle twisty section. Again a 19:20 with 3 laps of crashing on the bloody straight and gaining 10 and 15 second penalties (along with a damaged car).

I have to babysit the car every damn lap. The amount of left and right analog movements I make, makes pity the effort wheel users have to go through with this xD.

So basically, you can actually get a sub 19:00 by just doing a Sunday drive with the damn thing.

Just from looking at the suspension settings, yeah, quite logical that the car is undriveable, but hopefully we can find soon enough a better more driveable setup.

@Grimm6Jack What is the most stress-free method of assuring a win at Tokyo? In your opinion.....

It's still the Tomahawk. You can drive it like a granny, brake on the straights etc, and still do a time 4 to 5 minutes faster than anything else (Alpine A220 and Chaparral 2J), so if you don't want stress, just drive the Tomahawk veeery slowly, and limit its top speed to about 420-430kph as after that the car starts to be unbelievably unstable on the straights.

But if you want to go for those fast sub 19 times, you are going to really stress driving this Tomahawk. I haven't tried it with assists on yet though.

I can confirm, Sub 18 minute times are definitely possible.

Did a 18:14 with a 5 second penalty that was caused by a massive crash (I was going at 500kph and instead of lifting and then turning the car to try and keep it stable, I turned while going at that speed and lost massive time due to the crash itself and the damage that sustained for the rest of the lap.

All this while driving extremely careful (just got greedy at the 2nd to last lap where I crashed), brakink, lifting, coasting, and, much to my shame, using assists (TCS 5, stability on). But since this is only for grind, can't really care about it.

The Aliens can likely be on the low 17 minute marks for sure if they are capable of nailing ~1:25 laps consistently.

Which one was this again?

Can you please share the printscreen of your tune?
It was on naffantaityt channel’s, someone just tweeked the rollbars a bit better and to be honest i only the need the brakes in a few turns and now it feels like I’m playing wipe out, I’m not trying to break records but anything under 20 minutes is welcome, I’m happy to make some monies lolol

everytime i get on this topic i always wonder if this glitch was ever dead for months and maybe it was just hidden until it resurfaced or did a disgruntled PD employee brought it back on popular demand that maybe the lottery ticket glitch is out there somewhere because I’m not going to lie the last 5 days i have been getting nothing but 3-4 star tickets haha

I can't get the 498 PP tune to work. Am I overlooking something?

Edit: Figured it out. You need to adjust Toe Angle last.

You guys are Cyborgs... I can't do better than 21min30... I have done several times 18min with the first glitch, but this one... Don't know if it's the settings or else...

Yeah, I felt the same, but after few attempts I realise that you can pretty much drive without breaking at all, at some turns. Be brave and try to push the boundaries, maybe not on very first lap, but after that.

Start with the basics, triple check your settings, a number will always throw those settings off but looking at your stats, you are closer than you think.

I also started to realize that you can go over 300mph easily but don’t move the car with the joystick as little as possible and then hit below 260 when you need to adjust the car and then give it gas, it’s been smooth sailing ever since, but for sure you never realize how broken the racing line and brake zones systems are until you see that the real OG is the HUD brake indicator blinking “brake” when you actually need to!! LOL

I know how you feel. The trick is realizing taking a bunch of the turns at full throttle is actually easier than taking them slow. It definitely takes some practice though.

I miss F-Zero X, and this is the closest I’ve come to recreating that game experience, haha!

Follow the principle fellas.

The Tomahawk has its flips that give it a crap ton of downforce.
However, for that downforce to work, the car needs to go at a certain speed or above for the air to actually put the car down and therefore be gripier, so yes, some turns its actually better and "safer" to take at much higher speeds than at lower speeds where the downforce is not in effect.

On the hairpin for example, downforce is basically nullified there, which is why you have to take it at like 50kph... 0 downforce there.

What surprises me is that at a ridiculous 500kph, even with the flips open, the car is not stable at those speeds, at 500kph, the downforce figures should be overwhelming, probably 2 or even 3x the weight of the car itself. Even if the suspension has a really high height at the back compared to the front, it's still really surprising, even if the tyres are what they are...

It's that moment when you come out of the first corner fine on lap two or three, but when the winglets come in you just end up 4 wheel drifting till the next corner! 😨

My contribution to the cause.
I run it in fm4, lower than that and I make too many penalties. Best so far was a low 19.xx

How are you doing that race with that car? My PP is in the 900s no matter what I do

Tomahawk X exploit is dead.

Someone on Reddit however, discovered a new way (obviously not nearly as fast as with the Tomahawk X) to get credits fairly easy on this event, and it remains the best way to earn credits in the game. I can do it in 25 minutes and earn 825k. Basically, 1.98 million per hour.

Use the Alpine A220 (costs 330.000 credits in the Legendary Car Dealer).

Before you copy the EXACT settings of the pics I'm going to follow, make sure to not do the following:

-Do not change the livery of the car.
-Do not change the wheels of the car.
-Do not make any cosmetic changes to the car, period.
-Do not buy the rigidity in the tuning menu, otherwise you have to buy a new chassis or another duplicate car in the Legendary Car Dealer, if available.
-Do not buy the permanent upgrades to the engine, otherwise you have to buy a new engine or another duplicate car in the Legendary Car Dealer.

-Now go to the settings of the car and put EVERYTHING, EXACTLY as shown in the 3 pics below. EVERYTHING.

PS:
-Don't add brake bias.
-Use Racing Soft tyres.
-Differential at 5, 29 and 60 respectively.
-Top Speed 330kph in the Transmission.
-Use the Medium RPM Turbo.

-Use the Racing Intercooler.
