Fastest I could go for now.

If it weren't for the penalties at the end, the time would have been 18:20ish

This is with TC 3, FM6 (so it nerfs the torque a bit) and manual. I only used 6th and 7th gear, finally able to full throttle through the long straight with a bit of careful steering. This is actually more fun than the original Tomahawk glitch despite not as fast.

Return of the King! But, is it worth doing the Tomahawk grind thing again? Having it race on Comfort compounds seems dodgy on those wet roads. It can't be faster than the Alpine or the 2J, I'd imagine.

For me it’s consistently 3 or 4 minutes faster than the alpine or 2J, but I’m pretty good at all three cars. Avoiding penalties in the tomahawk is very hard especially at first. My tip is going slow doesn’t really help! The car steers much smoother at 190mph than it does at 130mph. Over 250 it’s a nightmare though.

My dude, this is legendary with this current setup, now a fun goal to achieve, I truly feel this game is a colossal challenge To play with a controller but lowest last time so far for me was 1:36 and I thought i was proud, then i saw your time hahaha, like another member posted back, fastest 2 million an hour method so far.

Got the chance to try out the tune. Works pretty well except for when the rear decides it wants to be the front. So it has been fun trying to tame it 🙂

That first and second lap... At least with the tune I tried from a video, the car is absolutely undrivable in a straight line if you use DRS. Only did it one time but got 19:22 with over 1 minute worth of penalties. The car is clearly not anywhere near what it was in the past glitch but its still a dimension faster than anything else so... peeps, enjoy it while it lasts. Because events in this game giving more than 2 million per hour with no glitches, are unlikely to happen.

Someone on reddit got 17 minutes lol that was insane. Still though under 20 minutes is already pretty quick IMO

18:56 with 15 seconds of penalties.

The tune I’m using goes completely unstable around 285mph. Through experimentation, I discovered the instability is ENTIRELY caused by the difference between the front and rear height. If anyone can develop a tune where the front and rear height are closer to each other, it will be a much more stable car.

This, or require sport tires like the AI cars utilize.
Tires restriction on this event is the worst thing they could possible do.

A lot of "normal" cars relies on grip of RH tires instead of speed to win this race. Restricting to sports tires would pretty much render them useless.
