^ I agree 100% its faster with the tomahawk race and easier... you get the most money per hour than any other race... I played an hour a day for like a month or more then they took it away... after that I was running the afk script and got every car that way... now that I got all the cars no need for me to grind...was just saying in general LeMans is more fun to me than tokyo imo

That I agree.

im referring to doing the tomahawk glitch in tokyo... if you use a normal car then yes it is a difficult course... but I was comparing the tomahak in tokyo to a regular car in LeMans
yes i realize what you meant. And you're out of your mind if you think Le Mans is harder than the glitched Tomahawk on Tokyo. Tomahawk on Tokyo is a genuine challenge. Le Mans you can do in your sleep.

Lol, I just did Tokyo with the Tomahawk, it works.....but it really drives like **** 🤣, ill take the Alpine or F40 next time 🤣🤘
Yeah it's twitchy as f* ck 🤣 if you go nuts on the loud pedal, but finesse it and fast times can be had.
Plus, it's a challenge and that's where the fun is.

True, it's in no comparrison to the previous glitch tune, but second time i did it it was way better, now i know i have to lift when exiting the tunnel
I was still at 20 min, so stil 5 minutes faster than the Alpine, controller sensitivity to the lowest helpt a bit to

Yeah, that's pretty much it m8, learning what the Tomo can/cannot do throughout the course with this new tune and you're set.

None of the grinding races require skill... Well, the Tokyo one does require a bit more effort for the average player, but that's the only one.

Regardless, we are talking about grinding. I can drive the Tomahawk X while braking on the straights and still be massively faster than anything else. 18 minutes for 825k >> 30-33 minutes for 825k. Grinding is all about getting as many credits within the lowest possible time. It's always going to be tedius, especially in GT7. So if we do have the glitch, just use it... The game and the developers don't offer or intend to give you better ways to grind.

I'm the opposite, I use 7th gear all the time... For both fuel saving and for the car to be under control.

I don't know how in the blue hell you can reach 530kph on the straight and not lose control. After about 470-480, the minimal steering input will unsettle the car. So either you are using a different setup or have godlike car control, and if so, I would really like to see a video of you doing that straight consistently at over 500kph and not lose control. I can maybe do 1 or 2 laps with a ton of luck and reach 500kph and not crash... But usually I just lift and slow down to about 470-480, sometimes even less than that.

Here's my run, I put it on the OP as well:

You’re a much talented driver than I am, no doubt. I’ve never managed to get under 19’.
I have difficulties not to get penalties in the the second part with the curves especially when there is traffic. But for the straight line never had an issue.

Maybe it’s the setting I use :

FM 6 but 1 for the straight, TC5 and 6th gear all lap.

Maybe high rpm has something to do with better handling at high speed?

FM 6 all the way, it'll help nerf the torque, and TC5 too. I always get under 19 with that setting.

instead of FM6, I use FM1 but keep it in 7th gear the whole time. basically the same thing in the end. Sometimes i will shift into 6th if i want an acceleration boost (once the track dries out later in the race -- not much point while it's still wet). i run in the low 19s, high 18s most of the time.

completing all 12 laps without getting a single penalty in the Tomahawk is at the very least "medium hard"
Completing all 12 laps without a penalty AND without slightly touching a wall or another car that almost on purpose gets in your way IMO is way more than just "medium hard". I've done like over 20 runs already (and I'm not counting the amount of retries I do when I make mistakes in the first 1-2 laps lol) and not a single time was I able to get by without a penalty or receiving damage by the tiniest touch.
How is the calculation 2.8mil on average? The average player may do 20 minutes per race. That's with the speed of a PS5. Three races per hour for 2,475,000.
This is false advertising. :lol::sly:
1 hour = 60 minutes
I can do it in 17:30 minutes (potentially sub 17) but add another 15 seconds for restart, and lets make it 18 for convenience:

60 / 18 = 3,33

3,33 x 825k = 2.750.000

If it's an alien who can do all that in just 17 minutes or whereabouts, 60 / 17 = ~3.52 - 3.52 x 825k = ~2.900.000

I posted an average of 2.800.000. No false advertising here my friend. 😏

I do FM1 all the time but have the car in 7th gear.

I tried to do it at high RPM (5th or 6th gear) in other runs and it barely changes anything, or rather, its actually worse for me.

Also I should mention here because I thought it was funny, after I got the penalty (11th lap) I was a bit mad and drove like I didn't care anymore just to finish the race.
... And I got the fastest lap at 1:19 with the tyres in their worst condition in the final lap. So I potentially can aim even at sub 16:45 or something.

What speed to you reach in 7th gear in the strait ?
I reach 470-480 and try to stay that way, or, just be at 95% throttle. If I can manage the car to be in a good straightline until the braking zone I go full throttle. But once it passes those 480kph, the car starts to turn by itself, and when I try to correct it at those speeds, I inevitably spin unless I lift or brake.

Strange I never have this, always reaching 530kpm/hour in the straight full 6th speed.
Here is the setting I use

I'm going to try that setup then. Mine is different in the diff and you have the rear anti-roll at 3 which in theory should give it a bit more stability.

EDIT: Yep, the setup you are using is noticeably more stable on the straights, but I still can't afford to go over 500kph, let alone 530...

Did a run of 16:56 where I had minor contact into the wall in 3 different laps trying to "dodge" the AI cars. I didn't get penalties but the car did receive damage which made me waste a few seconds overall. A sub 16:50 was on the cards, but the AI is really a pain to deal with. They put the car in the middle of the road every goddamn time, and don't slow down for blue flags... ever...

Again, my fastest lap was the last lap, so maybe the tyres actually get better after being worn out a bit (sounds realistic) or the track conditions are at their best... Or both...

Which means you messed up somewhere, like if body rigidity was installed for example.
Plenty of others have used my tune with no probs IF done right.
I used a new car and only changed the settings you have shown, and got the results I listed
no other upgrades or changes

This is a great time !!!
Did you try on the 6th gear all along the race and especially during the straight? Also I drive in the middle lane / on the left before to brake.
Joystick sensitivity -2 also may help in the straight. And I don’t have all the assists (GSA turned off).

I always reach 530 Km/h at the end of the straight during the 12 laps. I have difficulties with these stupid AI cars also, they drive me so crazy that I want to hurt them after few laps…

Post your settings so we can see? I've been able to get both the "no-toe" and "crazy-toe" setting tunes to work (but avoid the one with toe angle like the plague unless you want to correct the car 1.5x/second lol

Does TC help with Toma, i always race without (except GR3 racecars)

I use TCS 5. Otherwise it’s too easy to spin. I also use stability control and Countersteer assist. I also use racing line and brake areas. I don’t see the point of not using any tool available if it’s useful — in the context of grinding for cash!

I've noticed with the Tomahawk that the majority of my penalties are "turn-in" aka I'll bump the wall when starting the turn due to how insane the response is. With all other cars I usually get it by starting the turn late and would hit corner exit more frequently. Watching @Grimm6Jack's video, soooo much smoother inputs than me lol. That, and I learned you can take the majority of this flat-out!

I copied user "Max_HP" tune from post #1395 on page 47 of this thread
I copied all settings exactly as shown, using a new car with NO other changes or upgrades
and I get 713.72PP with 319HP, I have cleared all settings and started with a new settings sheet several times
and always get the same result

Yeah you only have to brake for the first and last turn, and the chicane in the middle. I also let off for the hard right before the hairpin. Otherwise it’s full throttle, and just about timing your turn. When I get penalties it’s almost always from turning too early ( or the idiotic AI swerving into my line while I’m lapping them!)
