Damn walls... I am approaching them in 480 km/h and they don't move, not even slightly..

You’re just plain wrong bub. The order you set things in doesn’t matter at all. Don’t spread unhelpful misinformation

In my experience that always been the problem and the last overlooked step, it was major in the corvette glitch but this one can be fixed with another tuning sheet if need be, either way I Don’t take credit for this but he clearly explains this and many problems people have faced with this glitch and recommends it as the last step to do possible

played the race tonight so I can speak on it... the car is a lot harder to control from the OG glitch... turning is not difficult but you cant max out the straights without spinning out which I did 3 times... controlling the car is a lot tougher on this newer build...with that being said I still won without a doubt and won by a slimmer margin but still comfortable 1-2 lap lead and finished in 23 minutes..this version of the tomahawk is not as fun as the OG build...if you want the most money in the shortest amount of time do tokyo with the tomahawk for an easy guaranteed win...but imo is not fun... I rather play Lemans even though it takes more time

Yeah, at 450km/h, I start backing off and hover around 442km/h. The Dual Sense isn't bad though. Just the AI "gettin' skerd" through the tunnel and timing it perfect to make contact, but I'm hip to their game. ;)

I am the only one with a stable car at higher speed?
I really don’t know what I have changed making my car stable. Maybe playing with a wheel helps.
Edit : yes impossible to drive with a joypad 🤣 no magic behind. Thanks T300RS.
Hi,

As far as I know - there are currently 3 or 4 slightly different setups, right? It is possible that there is one, that is stable to higher speeds as the one I use. But as I have the car under good control under all other circumstances - I don't have motivation to tweak for small details ;) I just play around with the throttle between 480 and 505 kph and it is fine for me.
For me the easiest way to improve and optimize my efficiency is to avoid AI contacts and unprovoked wall contacts :D After I manage this - I may optimize the Setup to get a few additional seconds.

And I also have an additional idea - I constantly drive with counter steering at max - it's not controllable without on these tires (man I loved to drive the car with Intermediates compared to the comforts) - maybe the counter steering is overwhelmed when it need to balance out the car at this speeds. Sometimes it felt to me like driving an old Porsche, which breaks out and you have a hard time to catch it again.

Yes it is a handfull, i just lower the speed on the straigh to 450kph or so, then it is very doable on controller
ran 19:30 this morgen with 3 penalty i think, can be alot faster but i still find this an very easie way to earn 825K
we need some credits if PD puts 8mil cars in the update

It's the only thing i am doing this month. Tomahawk at Tokyo. No Daily Race, not time Trial, nothing else. I suspect this time PD will not need multiple updates to patch this out.

We already solved that mystery - it was because he’s using a wheel. He switched to a controller and had the same trouble above 300mph the rest of us have.

This is actually the best performing "crooked toe" tune that I have tried. Slower than the Tomahawk but much more relaxed. I Tried to do a 1 stop by switching to RH's but they don't last for the rest of the race. 2 stop with RH's like in the video is the fastest way.

I wonder if it is smart suggestion that every account have in its signature which Hardware one is using and let's say difficulty level or other info that might be useful. I don't know if any Admin is reading this post but when someone writes "it's easy" whatever topic we are talking about, I wonder if that would be easy for me too, sometimes I try and find it not so easy. Anyhow, my signature says something, and whoever likes my suggestion, you can do the same if you like, then reading "it's easy" have an answer for who is easy...

Just saying...

Hi,
Generally it shouldn't happen to a high DF car, when you don't touch steering. Nevertheless if you use stick or wheel ;) you might be capable of catching it - if you are skilled enough - but finally there must be a reason in either the car/car physics or the circumstances (e.g. loss of traction, bad tarmac etc.)

Sorry - but there the scientist in me awakes :D

So the new Tomahawk money glitch still works, right?

Yes, you have to follow the video in the first page... basically change all the settings but the toe angle should be changed last...Change it to 0 on both

The Tomahawk is a pain to drive with comfort tyres..it goes very fast but not touching the wall is quite impossible.. the handling is too soft, I prefer the A220 where there is a challenge and you can try to beat your best times by lap or for the race, overlapping all cars is a pleasant challenge..

I'd have viewed this quite differently 3-weeks ago than I do now lol. As soon as I saw you start the race, I saw that wobble/stuttering of the car and knew it had a toe angle like a meth-addict installed it. 3-laps on RH's!?!

Impressive RT in the big picture, and probably one I would have potentially tolerated driving in exchange for the 4-5 minute improvement over the Alpine or @Pizzapants's vacuum tune. But man does that look the opposite of fun to drive. Almost any tune with messed up toe angles isn't a glitch, it's just a pain to drive - the Alpine, while quirky in some ways, is a glitch because it drives normal without constant correction overcoming the the rear-tires trying to drive into itself.

Absolutely though, thank you for sharing the video and tune! I'm just one person with one opinion!

What's he saying in the updated video with the modified tune (lower compression and expansion, higher freq front and slightly rear and slightly different diff settings) - any improvements to the high speed handling?

i'd be surprised if that tune was more stable at high speed, since it's still 70/100 front/rear.

I tried the new tune. it does feel slightly more stable at high speed, and a little bit easier to turn in on most corners. still very hard to drive, but IMO a slight improvement overall.

The first of the new Tomahawk tunes I found had the toe angles all janky and I was really annoyed at the handling, especially the straight - thank God I found the one with no toe angle! I'm using the one with ARB rear at 3 vs 1 and I tend to like mine tighter.

The Dodge ToMohawk(DT) 580(?) tune I used before, was more stable than the current under 500 tune. No matter, I‘ve gotten used to it through the week and it’s still under 30 minutes(19:40 with 15 second penalty).

tried remote playing on my iPad with no joystick and just the touchscreen this with glitch and it’s impossible lolol.
i was just trying different ways of grinding this race without sitting in front of the tv since I’ve been at 80 times according to the game but I have no choice now lolol 20 more days.

how long does Sony take to send out repairs for ps5 controllers by the way On average?
