I've always been a fan of the dodge vipers ever since GT1, and the SRT-10 is somthing special..... its handles nicely, sounds gr8 and comes with 499BHP as standard!!!

Also another real classic is the TVR Speed 12, yeah it handles pretty poorly but the speed is immense, looks gr8 in my view and its only a road car!!!

other cars i like are:

Mazda 787B
RUF CTR2
Skyline R34 v-spec II
Viper GTS :)

One of my favourites is the Bentley Speed 8, I won Le Mans with that.
Special mentions must go to:
Lotus Elise 2000, my first sportscar.
Aston Martin Vanquish, the Bond car.
And also the Minolta Toyota, I can really push that car around the Nürburgring.

Okay, without a doubt it's the TVR Griffith 500 '94, in Moonraker Black....
 It may be super Squirrelly, it may eat Tires like there is no tommorow, but there is just a feeling when I get in the car, like winning doesn't matter just driving this great car is all that matters. I fell in love with it in GT3, and nearly cried, when I didn't see any listing for it in the TVR line up. But alas it's used in one of the driving tests, so then I had to start looking in the used cars after every race. But I'm babbling. In GT3 I was really disappointed when I progessed to far to race it anymore so this time around I'm going to milk it for all it's worth. In fact I might buy a second to race stock. I've even found myself looking at car auction website, and thumbing through autotrader looking for one, as if I had the 40k to buy one. Or even the balls to drive a Right Hand Drive here in the States. All in all though I really like all of TVR's Line up, IMO they are the best of the UK makers.

TVR T350C-like the looks and it handles better than I thought
NSX-R (black hood)-extremely neutral MR car and very good on tires (always use Hard slicks/sports on any car I have)
R8-easiest to set up out all the LMP's and Group C's
A4 DTM-Mattias Ekstrom won the Championship
Fairlady Z JGTC (350)-very stable under hard braking

: curious why the C-Klasse DTM 04/94-96 & Opel Vetra GTS DTM is not in since the other one's are in.

The Chevelle... Either stock, or in my Drag-racing Trim.

My first car, the Charger, will always have a place in my heart. It also helps that it kicks major ass.

1962 Buick Special. 100% Pure Ownage.
Bentley Speed 8. Ultimate Closed-roof Racing car.
1954 Corvette. Makes a Miata feel numb, stock.
Silvia 240RS. Suprisingly quick, agile. Incredibly light.

My list for now... might add some in the future. :D

Love the T350c but haven't found the Griffith yet! Any idea around when it appears in the used lot?

I love TVRs; British, look awesome (like nothing else) and performance wise, stunning. The only thing I don't like however (especially with the Tuscan) is that it doesn't like getting its back end out a lot round corners, so you can't really throw it into a corner...you need to break in advance and take it easy, which is a bit dull. Any settings to make any of the TVRs a bit more exciting at the back? Nothing rediculous though...still drivable.

I've got a lot of favorites.

If you check out the laptime database, you'll probably discover that my #1 is the Formula One car. Hands down.

Following that, I have to say:

Mazda 787B (That engine sound...gives me chills)
Minolta Toyota 88-CV (This is my workhorse, the car I've used to win all of the 24-hour races. An incredible machine.)
Nissan Motul-Pitwork Z (just a beautiful car, and with 900+ hp, it can back up the good looks with good laptimes.)
BMW M3 GTR Race Car (I love copying the video passing around GTP of Hans Stuck Jr. on the last lap of the 24-hours of Nurburgring.)
Audi R8 (Probably my most favorite racing car of all time and the most dominant racing car of our generation)
Tommykaira ZZII (Looks like a Ferrari, with over 900 hp fully modded, can run circles around any other non-race car, and can hang with some real race cars.)

Androoos
BMW M3 GTR Race Car (I love copying the video passing around GTP of Hans Stuck Jr. on the last lap of the 24-hours of Nurburgring.)

and i thought i was the only one....

the BMW M3 GTR Race Car is the the absolute most fun to drive in the game.

I wouldnt consider it to be my favourite car, but I have thoroughly enjoyed my Toyota Tacoma, the truck. Supercharged, most engine mods, NOS. Its just fun when on long sweeping corners to be cruisin in 3rd and BLAST it with a 100 shot of NOS causing an intense wheelspinning drift onto the straights..... :scared:
ahh the guilty pleasures... :sly:

At the moment, my favorite car is the FPV F6 Typhoon, it has good power and I love all the torque is has, it also has pretty good handling, and to top it all off it looks really nice :)

I have several favorites. I'll list my top 10

1. Audi R8 (handles like a dream, looks sweet, and domintes in the game just like it has in real life.)
2. Sauber Mercedes C9 (in my opinion the coolest looking Group C car in the game, used it at LeMans 24hr II)
3. Toyota GT-ONE - full race color (sounds cool, looks awesome, whooped the MINOLTA's @$$ in the GT World Championship with it)
4. Mazda 787B - full race color (sounds like a pure beast, looks cool, what more do I have to say?)
5. Jaguar XJR-9 (sounds cool with it's low rumble, looks cool)
6. Chaparral 2J (handles like a dream, takes some corners at 70mph, makes it dominant at tracks like Hong Kong and Paris)
7. au Cerumo Supra (imo, the coolest looking JGTC Supra in the game, handles great, an absolute blast to drive at the 'Ring)
8. Honda NSX- R LM Race Car (another good looking machine, used it at Tokyo R246 300km.)
9. Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car (looks just plain awesome, espcially in its Miami Hurricanes paint scheme.)
10. Amuse S2000 GT1 (The coolest of the tuner cars, in my opinion, unbeleivable handling, cool sound, used it at Motegi 8hr. )

As you can see , I have a pretty long list. I could mention more, but I have too many, so I'll stop there.

Got a few:

#1: Amuse S2000 R1 - such an angry underdog. Will win over much more powerful cars. Good handling.

#2: BMW M3 CSL - Best balanced car in the game.

#3: Lotus Carlton - the fastest family sedan in the world.

#4: Shelby Mustang 350GT - love the sound

And many more........:)

i just won the neuremburg 24 hr endurace and the F1 car is awsome but i havent had time ot really drive it so with that being said i think that the best car is the bently speed 8 or the BMW M5 ya that car is t3hPWNSauce

1: Nissan Fairlady LM race car - just so fun to drive, handle's extreemly well and anyone could dive it fast

2: Honda S800 race car - who need's brakes with super stickys and nos on this little beast!

3: lotus motorsport elise(with the works) - it's nut's fast little bugger but can be a handfull

My current favorite car is the BMW M3 GTR Race Car. IT handles like a dream. Its great fun to do 10 lap arcade mode races with it around La Sarthe II, it has trouble keeping up on the straights, but it whoops arse in the corners!

First of all, I didn't appreciate that cheap shot from the very first post of this thread. Don't see me doing that on GTP, so why would you do so? So g**damn hard to just enjoy myself without having someone bash on me.

My favorite car is actually two cars I'm torn between. The Nissan R92CP and the 2004 Pescarolo Courage C60. Both balance great handling and exceptional speed. The R92CP is a turbocharged monster that can reach 237 down the Hunadieres, while the Pescarolo Courage is a nice-handling machine. The R92CP lacks sanity; the 2004 Pescarolo LMP lacks power mostly. Regardless, one you earn, the other is worth the 4.5M credits.

Well, those are my favorites so far. Are these good, or am I just wasting up bandwidth with bandwidth like a worthless son of a b****?

riote using the amuse s2000 r1...but my favorite car would have to be the Sti spec C..since it was the first car i bought in the beginning..and now fully modded..its fun to drive and handles well

my favorite car is the dodge viper srt10 with 1032 bhp i have 1/4 mile times of 8.5sec with that beast so i think it is a very very fast car :sly:

SO  DODGE VIPER SRT10
 1032 hp

Papadakis

yeah thats my fav car too, sweet engine sounds really muscley!

my 2nd favourite is the Ford RS200, sweet, sweet handling and it sounds the awesome with a racing exhaust and Stage 3 Turbo, especially from 5000-6000rpm

Bentley Boy
guess what mine is?!!! :D

Honda Civic TypeR? :dunce:

There are many cars that I like in the game, but I don't have any favorite (yet). Audi Quattro '82 would be a good candidate just because it's engine sound IRL, but PD didn't get that right... :grumpy:

No its the speed 8! I like the audi r8 aswell but they are both similar

I'm fond of the 190E Evoll touring car, perhaps because of Super test 15 :D . Current "daily driver" is a lightly modded (~160 hp, N3 tires) MR2 Spyder. Taking it up against the NSXs in the MR League is good fun and typically worth over 100 A-spec points. That said, I'm not sure how long I can maintain interest in the game now that I'm at 100%. I'm not quite OCD enough to go for all-golds in IB, IA and Super, and the driving missions have little repeat value once conquered...

Couple of current favorites:

M3GTR Race Car

Haven't touched a thing on it because it seems perfect to me right out the box. Amazingly balanced and capable.

Ford GT LM Spec II Race Car

When I won this one I wasn't very enthused but to my suprise it is a completely different animal than the '05 GT. Very well balanced and fun to thrash. I haven't changed a thing. None of the quirky whip around oversteer prevalent in the '05 GT.

Just incase I didn't respond to this thread, my vote goes for the Amuse S2000 R1. The car looks great and sounds awesome. I've put alot of seat time just driving / drifting this car on Deep Forest. This is my favorite for online racing using xlink, this car's suspension is tuned very well and is fun to use against 280-300 hp opponents.

My current favorite is my black Lancer Evolution II GSR. It averaged about 180 a-spec points in the Turbo Sports series including 200 at Midfield (as long as no RX7s or S4s were about). Just love driving 4WDs.

One machine I'm digging right now is the Suzuki GSX-R/4. Fully-modded, it weighs 1282 lbs (if you convert from metric), maxes out to about 276hp. I think the tire life is amazing except for maybe bigtime races. A fully-modded GSX-R/4 weighs lighter than most Formula One race cars, just not with a V12. In fact, this machine is based on a motorcycle motor. I kind of wished that Suzuki would come up with a 2-seat roadster that's pretty light. If so, let me tell you something. I bet when modded up, it will be an underdog car. This thing can put a JGTC race car on the trailer heading back home. I tried it earlier yesterday, won my first 200 A-Spec point race. This thing has really amazed me. Not very powerful, but very light. What more could you want?
