I'm really fancying the road going nissan r390gt1. Not the quickest car stock, but I made it fast enough. It has the largest turbo available from nismo and I bought race suspension, a brake controller, and a fully customizable tranny to let it top out around 210mph still with AWESOME acelleration. But I'm still having a little trouble balancing the brakes perfectly, oh well. Last weekend it was the 2001 subaru prototype rally car, the brakes are sooooooooo nice and it's a blast to drive around the capri rally with a huge turbo.

my favorite car in game is my real life car now (or really close) the '83 honda civic CRX ballade sports edition. my CRX is not a ballade of course but the engine is bein' rebuilt right now to have the same power, while it's out she's gettin' all kinds of suspension mods, i love it, & they even have my color, B38 honda blue! a close second & the first car i used in the game, '00 nissan skyline GT-R V-spec 2 N1. i've used it for EVERYTHING. endurance, rally, you name it & i've done it, awesome car

Jaguar S-Type R right now.

I saw one in real life and decided to buy it in the game. I couldn't believe how well it handled and how good it sounds, for being a boat. I like it as well - if not better - than my RS6. *gasp* It's a lot more balanced. :)

The Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nurburgring '02...the best production car in my opinion... there's just something about R34 Skylines... really like them.. Feels like it can take on any other car in the game... may not be the fastest.. but certainly will give them a run for their money once tuned properly... \m/

SKYLINES RULE GT4!!!

I have a tie between two.

In first place: The E46 M3. (E46 is the engine code for you sillies.)

Reasons: Great balance between front/rear weight. Fun to drive, in GT4 and real life. Easy to drift with, using the right settings of course. It sounds insane in real life. And it's nickname is "The Mustang Killer"? ;)

In Second place: Suzuki GSX-R/4 Concept

Reasons: It has a Suzuki Bike engine, it sounds like a bike. When tuned to around 230-240 HP, you can easily beat cars with triple the amount of horsepower. Buying a Wing in GT Auto actually fits the "car" right. Looks great with the rims of an Aston Martin DB9.

Ruf RGT: Got to love a Naturally Aspirated, 400 Hp, More or Less Porsche 911 on N2/N1 tires coming sideways into view around every corner on the Nurburgring Replay.

It's like an old friend now, 550 Miles...over half of them sideways.

BMW 330i: Probably one of the best cars that are in game that I could realistically afford IRL, for day to day driving, and weekend fun....also a gorgeous drifter, and it sounds great.

Oh, E46 is the Chassis code for the BMW, I believe N52 was the M3's engine code, kinda like E30, E36, and the new E90 were Chassis codes.

I have to agree that the Suzuki GSX-R/4 is a hoot. It's all been said before but the thing revs forever and a day, throttle steers like it's its job and can deftly decimate cars with much more hp. Oh, and did I mention a guaranteed 200 A-spec points against the more powerful competition?

Honda NSX-R Concept. I've done the Nurburgring 4 hour race twice in the last week simply because this car is so fun to drive there. No modifications. Perfect oversteer and that rear diffuser looks so sweet!

My heavily modified 1954 Mercedes 300 SL lights the tires in 3 gears and turns a proper 201 mph (in 4th!) on La Sarthe II. Looks sweet hunkered down, too and fitted with plain black aluminum rims.

Sorry but this thread is ''.....i do not have the game yet...'' or the ...my fav car on GT4..... Sorry just a comment...

Back in tha business....

My favorit car in GT4 is the Mercedes Sauber C9 Race Car '89. I have 2 of them.... the 1st have over 15000km.... and the 2nd have 0km...i keeping it for special ocasions......it is a very easy car to drive....perfect control on very high speeds....The car dont have a ''beautiful chape'' and isn't very pretty and i dont care about... It just have to go fast and make the corners even faster....thats all....
I have another favorit car....but GT4 don't have it..... Is the Mitsubishi GTO LM....yellow....so good...very nice moments i spend with....in GT1 of corse....
Another car is great to me in GT4 is the Peugeut 406 coupé (3L v6)....Because is my car in real life, but mine is 2.2 diesel HDI......LOL....my money isnt very much to the gaz.....lol......pininfarina.... the man.....

that's all.....i wish a very good rest of evening;night;day;morning;afternoon....whatever you will in this world.... :dopey:

RUF RGT '00.

I'm driving it stock, with SM tires, and loving it. I first drove it on El Capitan for the Endurance race, but the stock SS tires were too much of a handicap (too many pit stops).

I haven't retried the enduro, but I'm loving driving the RGT on the Ring. I've yet to run a "great" lap with it, but I've run 7:45. The car is an "exit speed" beast.

I wonder how it would stack up in a 'Ring battle against the M5?

Im sorry for this post but i have been trying to have 1 favourite car in GT4 since its release.

My top ones in no particular order are;
Amuse GT1: Speed, looks cost and have loads of downforce!!
M3 CSL: Best of the M3's, looks means and is great fun with no tcs, asm and n1 tyres round the ring (dont like the GTR road car, less top speed and understeers more)
Mercedes 190 EVO: Great sound and it looks awsome! It got great neutral handling! (Maybe my No1)
BMW M5: Such power and i love hawling a heavy saloon round a track and sliding it all over the place!

I have many many more but thats a sample. Dont realy use race cars, i like to keep it real, so i use N1 tyres and i now only use Arcade mode to make AI competative. Never use TCS or ASM as it disguises the feel of the cars behind electronics!

My fav is the Ford GT Concept here's why:
I only like it on small technical tracks because if you drive good you'll get the coolest replays!

My most hated car is:
TVR Speed 12. why? Because when you slap a wing and supercharge it it handles like crap but, it looks amazing!

My best RGT Lap on S3's (stock tires) is 7'26 I believe.

My best M5 lap on S2's (stock tires) is 7'24 I believe.

You want fun?

Ruf RGT, N2 Front/N1 rear, Nurburgring...Watch the replays, oh, and try to link all of Adenauer-Forst cleanly.

my favourite car is the audi r8. i am driving it without mods and its reaching 200+mph imagine how much it will be with all the mods available. AND BY THE WAY I HAVE BEATEN A MINOLTA WITH IT THERE RUBBISH.

I'm taking a break from my usual Nissan madness but I have to say i'm liking two cars now the Lancer Evo IV and the MG T160 (or whatever that is).

The Evo IV is the last Lancer before the computer got too smart for the driver so the car constantly rewards you with a nice controllable powerslide (even on S tire) just by lifting off the throttle after turn in which is something the other Evo's do for the most part but aren't able to recover without running into a very boring (but quick) understeer. So i'm liking this car because of that.

The MG is cool because it also does something similar but unlike other compact MR cars like the MRS the suspension and weight are engineered just right for some fun sliding. Plus it's like a mid engine Miata who wouldn't like that right?

So far (at 3.0% ... must update my stats) my favourite is the ASL AUTOBANCS Garaiya, the JGTC car #43. While the road-going version looks lam, this car is actually quite fast and is the car I'm using to learn the racing lines on new tracks - what's the point in learning the racing line if you're not at racing speeds?

Also looking forward to my first LMP (the Pescarolo has caught my eye), the rest of the LMPs, GT40 race car (as feaured in the awesome intro video), JGTCs, and, naturally, the F1s.

My fav car has always been since GT1, the Dodge Viper GTS '99.... its just so dam fun to drive!!! u can get the back end of it out so dam much you are actually facing the barriers and its pretty dam fast without being tuned looks gr8 and its relitively cheap for its power....

The amuse S2000 R1 is also pretty dam special...

I've changed my mind. My NEW favourite car is the Toyota Modellista Celica M Sport, in Blue Mica. It sounds great, looks good and suits my driving style. Its got oversteer, but with a bit of practise I've got used to it. Just wish I could put more power in it and make it lighter.

Im loving the Lotus Carlton at the mo. Spec it up fully, turn off the driving aids and its such a blast!!

Also loving the Merc 190 Evo, one of the most neutral cars in the game, very handy for the Nurburgring.

Third on my list would have to be the RUF CTR2, just cos its v fast unmodified and even though it is 4wd it still likes to go sideways!

The most disappointing car I've found is the Cadillac Cien, looks good, is VERY fast but those gearchanges!!!!!

My favorite car(s) would have to be :

1- Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nurburgring '02 :sly:
2- RX-7 Efini Type-RZ ('95) :dopey:
3-Cappuccino ('95) :sly:

That V Spec Nur is the only Skyline worth driving, in my opinion. So smooth and forgiving, it's almost flawless.

My current love is the RUF BTR. Absolutely addictive on the 'Ring.

Definitely my fully tuned Camaro LM Edition (what a handling beast!!!!) and the Honda S8000 Race Edition (come on compacts, lets get it on!!!!)

I was just thinking about making a thread while i was racing Laguna Seca Endo. Anyways:

My favorite car is my Mercedes SL 65 AMG. I love it move than my F1, more than my CLK-GTR, its just a beast. Unlike my SLR i have, the 65 handles very nicely. I pretty much added everything on except a turbo upgrade. I am currently pushing 7XX HP with the stock turbo, with the 4 stage it would be 999 but it gets too powerful and then lacks control.

The best part is it is a dream to look at. Its black with red interior and has 7 spoke enkei's that are black with red walls. At first i didnt know how it would look, but then when i checked it in my garage it was just sick.

I think you mean S800 - I just got this car last night and it sure handles the curves well. Just a bit more power and it would be a real beast. Now, where did that tuning shop get to... :)

I actually still like my own car in GT4 because I can drive my car in all the virtual tracks and beyond. Tune it without spending real money on my car.

The Honda Civic Type R EK9.

Although my current fav is the Spoon S2000
