my current fav is toyota au cerumo supra. i loved it in concept, and after initial dissapointment in gt4 [didn't drive as i liked it] i had to do some tuning, but now...
there is no competition for this car at all. :) from AI that is. AI controlled LM cars can just smell my rubber, faintly.

another great car is abt audi tt-r touring car. same as supra, i loved it in concept. on medium tires, with auto transmission set to 16 or 17 it gets you 200 a-spec points againt minolta and co. and ofc it is good enough to win against those minoltas.

Could you post your settings for your au cerumo Supra? Thats the Supra I bought out of the Super Supras and its awesome. Just needs a little tinkering with to make it oversteer less :indiff:

AMUSE S2000 GT1 '04
It blows, looks gorgeous and sounds like a monster... deffo a top car :)

Toyota ALTEZZA Touring Car '01
I'm in love with the design of this car and i find it pretty good on the road actually :)

I made a little wallpaper out of a shot i took in GT4

here you go guys:

this is my current favorite made it look like the new shape exige, handles like a house fly and goes like stink, 331ps and weigh's about the same as a feather and beats cars with twice the power!

god i loveb this car its so damn sexy and quick:drool:

The E-Type is a suprise good 'un. Also, the Stratos is fabulous fun to drive, albeit for it's difficulty rather an obvious dynamic talent..

All the NSXs are very good.

That Amuse looks great! I think i sold mine, i went a bit mad and sold almost all of my cars last night... :(

Favorite Car to drive at this point - Gran Turismo F1... thing corners on rails, has awesome acceleration and braking, not a very high top speed though.

Favorite car that you CAN tune: Saleen S7, amazingly nimble, great when fully tuned, and it just..... looks..... baaaaad.

My current fav is the '54 Corvette Convertable I've been using trying to get more A-Spec points. It can beat many cars with a lot less power because it turns on a dime. Just a fun car to drive!

My favourite car is the Ginetta G4 - it's simply the most beautiful car in the game...

Come-on guys, now thats a good looking car, right? :)

at the moment, it has to be the amuse carbon r. this car rocks! and its got the best brakes ive experienced so far in gt4. just slam on the anchors, and see that speed dissappear almost instantly - just add water to taste! its may be ugly as hell, but its big on balls! a monster of a car!

it is pretty, but imo its pipped to the post by the gorgeous lotus europa. the best things ALWAYS come in small packages!

My favorite is the 350Z version ST. I own this car in real life where it is a blue Track edition, heavily modified I may add. I even have the Nismo body kit and spoiler designed by Polyphony Digital. What I do not like is the bug where if you add a turbo to this car, the game will freeze when loading any track. Not cool.

My favourite ever since I bought it has been the Mercedes SLR McLaren. Its looks, its power, its handling. Everything. I really enjoy racing in it. I took it round the Laguna Seca endurance, whupped booty and loved every second of it. Plus, its one of the few cars I enjoy driving thats over 800HP.

The SLR is definatley a good looking car from the later years, but I'm curious to know how that 800HP handles without the driving aids? It's got huge rear tires, but is it driveable?

Hmmmm. I've not tried it without driving aids. Think I will now though.

'62 Lotus Elan.

First drove it as a learning car for the 'Ring, then discovered that the Elise came by its sweet handling honestly.
The only problem is that it needs an FC transmission (move autoset from 4 to 8). Otherwise, completely stock (including Sports Medium tires) it's smooth and near flawless.

At a paltry 106hp it will tame the ring in less than nine minutes (my best is 8:57 but one guy logged 8:44). I didn't think that was much, till I started tinkering with other 100-130 hp cars from that era, and couldn't come close to the time.

It's absolutely overkill for the European Classic Car cup and 1000 miles cup, and that's stock (except for the transmission).

You want to have a go with the Ginetta G4 - on my first attempt at the 'Ring with this car I got 09:00 with no mods at all, I think just an oil change. I think the G4 will have similar HP to the Elan, so it's well worth a look.

These older cars sure do have a lot of style and class, :sly: pity about the brakes though... :nervous:

I'd say my fovourite car at the moment would be the Pagani Zonda LM race car. It looks so sexy and the sound of the engine is just so damn great. Nothing beats it at the moment. I should buy the USB flash memory so I could show you some of the pics I've taken from my sweet Pagani.

Has to be the Ginetta G4 for me. done all the modifications so I think its running at 240bhp (or something close) - which when you conisder it weights only 600kgs its a fair amount!
If you want to learn the 'ring use this car and you'll soon figure out where the bumps are that will unsettle faster cars

I'am really getting into driving the GSX-R/4, completely stock and with full ballast, it is a hoot to drive and will out class NSX's with over 100 more bhp.

I must agree about the g4 too sweet car to drive.

BMW M3 GTR Race Car: beautifully balanced, great acceleration (though top speed could be improved, but hey...) and elastic engine, good breaks - especially on the Ring ( try 200 A-spec points in Arcade....yiha.....or choose the classic music tracks from the music list and listen to them in the background wile you stomp around the Ring...b e a u t i f u l !!!)

And Rufs CTR Yellow Bird 87 is always a lot of fun!

and it looks as I shud give the Ginetta a try...tx guys!

as soon as i play it, i'll let you know. lol

but i have a feeling the saleen S7 will be one of my top favs.

Oh man, what a suprise this car was for me!

Definately one of my favourites. Handles like a dream, even when fully spec'd & looks great too!

Subaru Impreza Sti WRX Spec-C was my first car and still my favorite. In GT3, it was the Zonda C12S, but i still don't try it in GT4, i'm waiting!!

Sorry guys, but i HATE the Saleen S7
