PSN has a pulse!

http://thegamingliberty.com/index.p...ork-has-a-pulse-service-could-be-online-soon/

The internal developer network seems to be on! This means PSN could follow soon after.

Nothing confirmed yet and this is a small sign but it's the ONLY sign in so long... hopefully it'll be time to re-joice soon.

Hmmm sort of a restatement of this (I think?):

The internal PSN developer network is online again, at least it seems for some, although things are still a bit shaky at the moment such as lack of new account sign up.

I also found it hilarious that when I clicked on that link it gave me a sever error several times before it loaded (sort of) :) 👍

Funny stuff. I hope the fact that several people are talking means good things though.

All that new link does, via its embedded link to neogaf, is circle us back around to the original link I posted 20 hours ago.

Okay, so this was mentioned in the old thread by a QA tester and since then I have had other developers confirm to me that this is the case. The internal PSN developer network is online again, at least it seems for some, although things are still a bit shaky at the moment such as lack of new account sign up.

Looks like the full network, at least the online play/account part of it, will be back soon.

Thanks,nothing new then...

Not sure....
The phrase "soon as possible" could be interpreted as "very soon".
That would mean, that PSN was about to go online in Japan..

But we can only hope... :D

Why? You don't reckon they're working 24/7 on this? Cos they are.

Yeah probably. But restoring the PSN on a weekend day would put a higher stress to the servers rather than on a labor day.

And they have to be very cautious with that. They can't afford the PS network to break down again. Sony customers would lose faith and patience.

I think that'll be the least of their worries when PSN goes back up

I remember reading that Sony was planning on removing the auto sign-in feature due to the servers getting ddos'ed.
