Those homeschooled kids are one day going to leave home and go to college where they will learn everything they’ve been taught is a lie, and they are going to hate their parents FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES.
Depends on how successfully their parents brainwash them. They could end up thinking everyone else is wrong or more likely, be told by their parents to avoid going to radical socialist college altogether.

I married someone who was heavily indoctrinated by her parents (not about flat earth of course), it was trivial to undo their indoctrination. Some messages are really just not that hard to combat. If the truth makes the world clearer, it's hard to deny.

However, some messages are nearly impossible to combat. Flat earth isn't one of them.

Not if Mom enrols them in PragerU.

Editorial Note: I'm omitting the extraneous message in parentheses in the thread title. It was put there originally to stem off confusion that probably wouldn't have come about, and I just didn't do anything about. I don't think this meaningfully changes the trajectory of the thread as I think its purpose is well established without the message.

Jesus Christ.

Yeah so I'm not a big fan of socialism and I still recognize that as being mind-numbingly stupid. It's a good thing it's directed at those whose minds have already been numbed.

But it's JAMES MELVILLE from TWITTER!

Must be famous, he has the check mark!
That's uncanny! I was just at my local butcher's half a world away. I've developed a rapport with the guy after years of patronage, so we struck up a chat. While slicing my peppered bacon, he says to me, "There's this guy on that Twitter called James Melville. I don't know who he is, but he has a blue checkmark. Apparently that means something but the guy seems kind of stupid."

Not sure who he is, but apparently it's very important to him that we all understand he's kind of a big deal.

Alternatively...

Courier Journal
Shortly before noon, the Bracken County GOP Facebook had a new post signed by [Bracken County GOP chair Karin] Kirkindol about the now-deleted missive.

"Earlier today, I was made aware of an inappropriate post on the Bracken County GOP Facebook page," Kirkindol wrote. "That post does not represent the values of the Bracken County Republican Party. It was incredibly insensitive. We will investigate how this occurred and we commit to tighter oversight of our social media going forward."

By Friday evening, the post explaining why the original post was removed was also deleted without explanation.
Perhaps the guy who originally posted it mistyped because he couldn't see through the slits in his hood. Yeah, that's it.

"Jewish junta."

😬

Criticism of Israel isn't anti-Semitism, but also supporting Israel doesn't mean you're not anti-Semitic.
“Huge publicity moment for the GOP”

Actually being honest for once in a blue moon. Whole thing nothing more than a chance for them to rile up the base for attention (& money probably).

"Probably"?

I haven't seen a redacting job that piss poor since the UK Government Department for International Trade sent out a "redacted" PDF in which they'd simply changed the text background to black, allowing anyone to highlight it and read the text with ease.
I was reading old posts in this thread and decided to look up the unredacted version.

Just started following Hemant Mehta and I'm bracing myself for an influx of full on loons like Aaron Thompson and this handmaid who no longer accepts replies on her tweets:

Question, when monkeys masturbate, is that Satan? It's almost like there was no god to make sex in the first place, but that's crazy talk.

Heathen lies. Chimpanzees are good Godfearing primates. Did not the Good Lord create them as he did you and me?! Those Satanist seahorses and bonobos will find themselves swimming in the lake of fire come the Day of Judgement, you mark my words. AMEN!!!
