Have you noticed how after a while, one Dragonforce songs starts to sound like every other Dragonforce song?

Maybe not, but some of the choices given in the Supra questionnaire are suggestive that there's a good chance the marque will make an appearance eventually .

Huh, I don't think we've specifically seen a Gr.4 race at Interlagos with tire/fuel consumption.

Back in April '18 there was but with different fuel and tyre parameters. It doesn't show on KP although I do remember racing on it since it fell on the same day as the unicorn combination of Gr.B and Willow Springs. Post here for reference:

Has always been the case for Race C at Tsukuba though. Don't know why.

I just looked at the N200 category for next week race A

Knowing that PD have bot choosing every week car and track combo, I put my money on GT86 or downtuned TTS. You know the ol same ol same.

A detuned Lotus Evora would be a nice suprise.

I really like that they're starting to sub-categorise the N-class cars a lot more but I still hate that they haven't done it properly, and that we're stuck choosing specially provided cars instead of a proper subcategory where we can choose garage cars, or better yet, use it in lobbies.

So it's the usual this morning, get in a low rated lobby with fast qualifiers, and get blasted during lap 1. Actually raced the guy in 2 more races where he was as clean as ever, but still wiped me out 1200 DR. Could have been less but I screwed up passing a driver at the back while recovering and punted him when I outbraked myself. Ended waaaay dead last as I waited to let them go ahead. Included the bit at the start as it shows if I hadn't screwed the chicane I probably wouldn't have had the problem.


Next one was the fun PD physics experiment of having the car unghost while it was inside me. Sort of like a bad adult film. I get blasted off, they get the penalty (which they should have had from earlier) and it all goes wrong. Kept the turn in at the hairpin as I think it shows I could have probably avoided the problem had I gauged my turn in correctly and not turned into him and put myself so far back. Oh well. They tried a super savage dive bomb at the first chicane on the next lap. I saw it coming and didn't turn, they hit the wall at about 100 mph. Then rage quit.


Actually might miss DTS next week with Interlagos being a dive bomber special.

If we hadn't had little MX5 Roadster this week I'd shout that that N200 would be the Touring Car for next.

Would PD be so brazen to do that?

Probably. It has many colour variations as stock when pre-supplied by the game.

Tried to race again tonight. Visited by the demon of bad unghosting. Twice in first lap got roadblocks from people unghosting on the racing line. Got punted into hairpin before CoD. Ended up lapping at the back. Ugh.

Against my better wishes I went back for another race after 2 ugly ones. Aside from 1 small wall bounce on the exit of the chicane on my bogey lap 1 I had a great race. 2 people in front crashed and I brought home a 2nd. Can call it a good ending for the week. Monday and back to work in the morning

I hadn’t much play time this week at all. Qualified well for Tokyo but only did 2 races because of SR damage there. Had a hand full of DT laps so jumped in to try my luck for the first time last night. It was like Gran Turismo Zombie Apocalypse. Drivers who had decent Q times so must have known how to point the car in a straight line we’re just all over the place; in the sand, in the walls, into each other. Basically if you could avoid being hit, even if it meant forfeiting a place in order to let them crash into something else, then you were guaranteed to finish well.

Q time down to 1:29:648 which is around where I’d expect to fine myself. Got used to the ‘08 GTR too.

I think you were way to behind to attempt that move... the rest was just chain reaction that happens when cars are misplaced around.

Had a long run at DT this afternoon to try and better my time, and finally managed it - knocking off almost a whole tenth of a second!!

Suzuka if I do race it: Ford GT or 4C.

Funny how the updates tend to make some of the cars or tire grip make our decisions to drive certain cars. The GT feels seemingly the same to the time I won at Suzuka a few months ago. The Corvette however, feels more tail happy. In contrast, the Viper has felt more controllable to me over the last month or 2. I'll be trying the Viper at Suzuka & likely the Corvette. The 'Vette may not see actual race time based upon how my QTs are.

Interlagos gr4 next week...

I'm certainly not a fan of Interlagos, but I may give the alt account a few runs there.

Funny how the updates tend to make some of the cars or tire grip make our decisions to drive certain cars.

Well in my case, it has nothing to do with updates. I enjoy driving those 2. I've been using them before the iterations of tyre grip/physics changes.

It started clean in the morning as always, however it didn't take long for the trouble makers to wake up today. Atm, it's destruction derby, dumb move festival in the back at DT: Seaside. From a clean streak of 3 to 3 red ratings in a row from all the bumps and a bs penalty. The usual tap your rear with a nose then the wall kind. I'm still in the fast room, 91 SR, for now.

Dumb moves seen today:
3 wide with just a nose into the fast right after the T1 chicane. What can go wrong
Hanging in by a nose to force 2 wide into the bus stop, several times That's how I got the penalty mentioned above.
2 wide nose into the corner for the fast left, right, left section.

If you don't have significant overlap, back out, what's so hard to comprehend

Then there's the final turn shenanigans ofcourse, use the other car to make the corner. Full contact sport!

Next race up, perhaps a more decent group, always stay optimistic.

Oh lord . I lost 40 SR points today just by being tossed around in race C.
I then tried to build up some points again in race A and B, but only managed to stay where I was, from 99 (stuck there for weeks) to 64 in a day, what a mess.

I can't wait for the new daily races hoping they will be more forgiving.

Definately race B, I like fast cars and have been able to find some consistency here this week, which is what you need for this combo. Also it being winter Ive had the time to actually get it done!
