So, there's another annoying little quirk I've noticed, and I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed it.

When I get on the gas exiting a corner, sometimes it's as if the diff locks in such a way as to prevent the car from turning. about three times in the last week, I slowed to enter a corner and exited the way I normally would, but the car would start to turn, then just straighten out somewhat and I would go right off track.

Just me?

Not on controller but I think I've been feeling the FFB/torque different too coming out of turns. On a G29. Nothing drastic. It feels a bit like the wheel fights back a with a bit more elasticity/less jerky than before on the exit. Could just be in my head or the combos lately.

Back in the saddle, starting in front of 4 other cars on Interlagos, 3 Brazilians, GT-Rs as well, I'm going to pull over at the start. Nope, not starting in the middle of that.

I went through the pit at the start to last, then passed one car at a time to 9th. Clean race bonus, +16 SR to 80. Skipped SR.A, back in SR.S

Second race, started 17th, one car behind. I though it was save enough, nope. Still 2 SR Downs getting sandwiched in between 16th and 18th, no patience from anyone behind. Anyway I climbed to 6th during the race without any further contact. +9 SR instead of +16, thus -3 SR per SR Down and 1 SR lost from the sectors it happened in.

3rd race, 2 starting behind me so I used the pit lane again which does put you 13 seconds behind last. Clean race bonus again while slowly climbing to 11th. That 13 sec deficit is a bit much while pulling over on the straight is tricky with drafters. Perhaps hug the right wall while the ones behind line up for the dive and brake early to let em shoot ahead. Of course with multiple cars behind :/

Now I remembered why I hated Interlagos...I've plunged from 90 to 59 SR thanks to BTCC-style door banging, and never finished above 11th in 3 attempts, with a 1:39.5 quali time in the Aston.

On the bright side, I almost led from lights to flag in my only outing at Goodwood, thanks to my 1:31.0 quali lap. I floored it off the line, but the Swiss driver alongside me had better throttle control...but worse steering, allowing me to undercut him out of Madgwick and for the remaining 4.9 laps or so.

No debate at all, just polite conversation. @sturk0167 simply noted your comment so I used it as an example. Anyone else could have posted any different observations and they would have served as an example. Yours was just the closest one to hand.

At least now you know we actually read your race report. You are not alone.:D

P.S. It’s all Sturk’s fault.

I agree....it's all sturk's fault!

Did a few race A tonight, loads of fun! I managed to qualify 5th and 4th, finished up. The car and the track are great together contrary to what I believed earlier.

Tried race B too, i qualified 13th with the Lambo, very twitchy, so I changed for the Audi for the race... It felt like cheating compared to the Huracan! :dunce: the Gears are very well adapted to the track and it is stuck to the roaf. Finished 6th !
So tonight I managed to recover some important SR points while improving my DR!

That's fine.
And this album is your fault.

Interlagos is my favorite, but the Ferrari is not the right car.
Here is a fun clip of this guy wanting to take the inside as we go into the Senna S's. I was already there but he insisted, and I let him go ...
(Can someone tell me how to do a GIF?)

I use Gfycat a lot for gifs since it has great controls for clipping from video files. For shorter videos I also tend to use Streamable instead of Youtube. They process uploads way faster so it's quicker to upload and share.

Anyway, I'm actually glad to see Suzuka. I usually do well there
That happened to me about 3 times on Interlagos and once on Suzuka. I thought my controller was shot

It may not be the same thing, but typically when I get that feeling, I usually chalk it up to the game simulating understeer.

Had 2 tries at Race C today, and a total disaster....Got bished and bashed around in both races, with DR down for constant taps from behind, and penalties given unfairly too......And after a lot of success last week in the enjoyable Dragon Trial race with Gr 2s, my rating has plummeted, gutted, and bloody annoyed!! :banghead:

Day 62 was a dark one for me, I won't be touching Race C again this week, off to Goodwood and Suzuka, maybe.....

Hell yeah, I thought my SR can finally take a break from Tokyo last week, but Interlagos doesn't seem to be much better.

And once I have dropped from S to C, its even harder to climb back up with people that don't give a flying fxxk

I did a second race at Interlagos in the Alfa 4C, starting 20th/20. I ended up in a fast room (As and a few A+) that was almost a double-make of Huracans and F-Types so I thought this might not end too well. I was surprised.

I had a nice battle with an Toyota 86 from the back, almost like we had our own race among the big brother cars. We exchanged positions 4 or 5 times and kept up with each other while gaining places until the final lap. He got pushed off by an evil Huracan at Bico de Pato. Tears were shed. Luckily I didn't get punted or bumped off this time. Finished 11th so pretty satisfied with gaining 9 places.

Tyre wear didn't impact my times very much, I somehow ended up being faster than in the V8:

Savage but nice to know there's at least one person who does.

Wow. That's less tire wear after 11 laps than I thought any of the cars could do. Nicely done. 👍
I may give the Alfa a try.

Guess I'm done for tonight, can't race like this.

I started by going into the pit since I had people starting behind me. Slowly catching the field from behind until people started pitting and I got in the middle. One car passed cleanly, then this happened. He left to SR.B but still kept his position with that 1 sec penalty, well done.

"SR down"

Never change penalty system, never change :banghead:
