Committed to the Cayman for Race C, and maybe the M4 as a dark horse change of scenery. Anyone run the M4 yet?

One Race B, what's the car of choice for the masses? I've not had a look at it yet...

You've probably tried it by now and my reply may be late, but, I've seen the M4 finish 2nd a few times and top 5 several times

he wasn't willing to give up the position so he did some shady defense to avoid getting overtaken and while I got a 1.5 sec penalty in the process (both from collision and track limit breach), I was still able to overtake the TT driver but had to do a very aggressive overtake just to send the message that he really triggered my aggressive side.

At first, I was wondering what your complaint was and then, when he realized you were faster, he became a real jerk. I don't know how you kept your calm to NOT punt him.

I honestly didn't really want it to end it like this like winning a race dirty

He set the rules for that finish. He caused it. The stewards dismissed the inquiry from his team straightaway!

I guess this is one of those perks of being a laid back type of guy/player.

Also while I was almost getting him, I realized that his tires were almost dead because just by judging how his TT is handling, it seems that he's struggling with his tires.

Thank goodness I did some runs with the TT before because I came to the realization that my driving style is not suited with the TT or perhaps every FF Gr.4 car for a race where tire wear is a factor and instead I opted for the 86 because I find the tire wear to not be an issue plus the handling seems fine for my style too.

But yeah thanks for the reassurance. I really appreciate that.

Not had a run yet, been at work all day (still slaving away) but will probably have a run or two later tonight. Hopeful for a good result!

This guy really had to trigger my inner R4M/aggressive side like his tires are dead so it seemed that I'm able to overtake the dude and take the W but then he wasn't willing to give up the position so he did some shady defense to avoid getting overtaken and while I got a 1.5 sec penalty in the process (both from collision and track limit breach), I was still able to overtake the TT driver but had to do a very aggressive overtake just to send the message that he really triggered my aggressive side. Although my SR took a beating after that race, it honestly didn't matter to me because he was asking for it.

Moving like that get's a one way ticket to Puntsville in most cases. Well done for your correct reaction.

When you pull up beside them & they move over toward you to push you, I consider that an official ticket to the sandbox. :mischievous:

That’s the fastest line there for sure , not sure if the in-game line goes through there :D

I'm willing to bet the line in the game doesn't go through there. But like we said last week, if it isn't called a penalty, it's allowed.

Well pens just screwed me out of a win. About lap 5 a TT who I had been pushing for a couple of laps makes a mistake and I have the inside and ahead for the left hander before corkscrew. Does he play nice? Don't be daft he hits me and goes off and for some stupid reason I get 3 secs. Because of traffic and having to pass an extra player I probably lost 5 or 6 secs because of this and that would have been enough to keep the pitted Scirocco behind me. I let him through on the straight starting lap 12 and he was struggling got 4 secs in front but ended up 1.5 secs in the lead.

Astonishing.

2nd win in a row, race C. Unlike you aliens I only have 42 wins (14 at LS!) in 1000 races so this is rare for me.
Started 3rd, 1st and 2nd killed each other and that was it.

Luxury pit stop at L9, not really needed.
Some cheeky fella did steal the FL though and only have 25 FL so still chasing that achievement

A tale of two spins tonight.
Hopped into the R8 for Brands. First lap someone decided rejoining the track at the apex of Westfield was a good idea. Of course I get a second penalty. Then at Sheene I dipped a tyre on grass on entry causing me to spin. The game didn't even reset me so I had to creep back onto the track. Managed to recover a few places.

Race A is fun. Lap 2 I spun it between the Lesmo's from a good position.

Ah well better results for the rest of the week I hope.

I'd have popped him into narnia

Haven't seen a defined META, in my A-A+/S Brands Hatch races. Keep it on track and you'll get good results.

Pretty much this. I never got passed yesterday but had some great battles with R8 and R.S.01... just don't dip wrong tire in the dirt and you'll be fine. Some of those corners though you need to murder track limits. I've been using the GT LM and what little opportunities people have to pass they just can't get around.

For the Daily Renault Race at Monza it says open settings but am I correct that TCS is all you can change. It is usually TCS and Brake Balance that you can change, isn't it? I can't change BB.

Going into the week I thought I was going to do Race A a lot. Tried yesterday. Don't think I'll go back.

Also tried to do C last night but got disconnected. But wasn't really feelin' it anyways.

Tried Race B today. That was fun. The track I though I'd skip this week. I'm sticking here.

I liked this lap:

:)

Crazy nice pass. That's some serious grip hack. :P

So this is what I was talking about when I said the R.S.01 starts off slow  I shouldn't be a full second ahead of 2nd place before we start the race not that I don't mind.

In races with provided car(mostly race A), you can’t change BB in the car setup page, you can only change it when actually on the track through the mini menu that has BB, TCS, Radar, Fuel Map, Ect.

Wanted to cruise around in this race, but had some tyre dramas. Like the grip just disapppeared. Let some friendlies go by and then, this guy again. He was leading and messed up. Since he's a sore loser, tried to slow and off me again. Nope. Not havin' it.

I'm a bad boy, but I never deny it. So got fed up with the bad driving and started picking on those that deserved it, it was really fun and eventually I got bumped to DR 3000 SR 1. So 1 race C, try and be clean, but it's hard so I got a pen or 2 but nothing severe came 2nd and gained 2,777 DR points and an unbelievably stupid 51 SR points. Yes that's 51 points gained in 1 game. Now in the games before this I was bumping, bashing and punting like crazy. In those games I was losing 20-30 points yet 1 semi decent game puts me back to SR B. Tomorrow I'll see how quick I can get back to 99, it might be hard as I really get annoyed by the stupidity of many of the drivers.
