I'm a bit late with this one, but I had a great time last week in Race B. It took a bit of trying, but I set a 1:32.0 in the Corvette, and it was good enough to start me in the Top 5 for most of the weekend. Ended with 4 wins, 3 of them from pole. I could've had 6 wins if not for a stupid collision penalty that I got for trying to avoid an accident in front of me, and being nearly spun after glitching through a curb in the esses in another race. I used the Corvette the entire time, and could mostly keep up with everyone in front of me in Supras and GT-Rs, just waiting for them to make mistakes out of the slower corners and the chicane. Unfortunately that also got me quite a few penalties from running into people who made mistakes in those spots, even when I took avoiding action and made only slight contact that benefitted the car I hit. I think I could've avoided penalties had I just slammed into them without trying to avoid. In spite of that, I still got 8 and 9 race clean streaks. When I finally switched to the Supra to improve my qualifying time last night, just to see how quick I could be, I only gained a little over 0.1s over what I managed in the Corvette, putting me at 1:31.89.
For Race C, I managed to put down a 1:36.2, and could do similar pace consistently in qualifying, but I had barely enough pace to stay in the Top 5 in the race, and could barely get under 1:40 on a good lap while everyone around me could easily do at least mid 1:39s, even without boost. I only did 2 races on my main account there, and I went backwards from where I started in both. So even when I'm quick in the SF, I can't ACTUALLY be quick in it in race conditions...
