If they didn't they got a pen too, pits short here, think it's 6 secs loss for the change. Thanks for the info mate.....i was sure the guys in front of me didn't even pit!! ??
Well after my stunning win at race C, I beat the other guy by 20 secs and would have got CRB if I had braked at the chicane when I left the pits, it's just been terrible, SR loss every game and I got reset to D/E. OK partly my fault for getting revenge, but it's fun. So now I can do any race without a care and they're all fun this week. I really suck at A and need to get better at Monza so a learning week with loads of crashes I think. Going to try and not retaliate even with the really bad ones.
I'll have to build SR in FIA if I can run. Sitting at SR 47 now...Be careful, as FIA is next week. For those that don't have a lot of time to race, pick your races this week.
Congrats!View attachment 991842 View attachment 991843

Contact? Oh yeah! There is bumping, blocking, bouncing and banging off walls. You just have to do your best to pick and choose your battles, as well as blocking the inside at any and all cost. So easy to get pushed wide either by accident or on purpose, but it is fun.Congrats!
How much contact did you notice or how much contact did you absorb? And, did you notice if many of the drivers received penalties?
EDIT: That livery is fantastic. A little surprising from somebody who I believe is in Sweden.
I had some great fun races, but 2 simply unlucky penalties (driver clipping a wall and tapping the other whole racing close,no harm to either) dropped me down into the lower SR regions where it started to become an all.out brawl. I'll be back in once I push my SR up. Glad you're having fun and keeping up there. It really can be such a fun race.I must be one of the few that is truly enjoying Race A. I was mid pack my first race and got banged around a bit...almost lost my B/S. The next several races were a blast..running in the top 5 and everyone was as respectful and you could ask for considering the type of race.
Some of these guys are flying. It's humbling to lay down a 1:32:9xx and be sure that you are going to be on pole by a second or more only to discover you're starting 8th 2 seconds off the leader. lol
It had been a while since I had won a daily race. It was Race A and it happened on Monday.

My new main is D/S or C/S right now. Only did the one Race C and with all the Race Bs added to that, I'm sitting at 7 CRB in
sweet hope to see you on track! That’s if I guess we are in the same region. I always. Try to keep high SR. probably why my DR floats between D-B oh and im slower than the A A+ guys. Or cleaner/not aggressive enough. You’d think I’d be from Canada with how polite I tend to beMy new main is D/S or C/S right now. Only did the one Race C and with all the Race Bs added to that, I'm sitting at 7 CRB in a row.
Not worried about the DR, it's the SR I'm looking after.![]()
In just 2 races at Monza, my 99 SR became 85.
I may be forced to stick with Fuji.
What is the penalty situation like in the rally race? I can't imagine there be no contact there
Thank you. In the A race there was no contact at all. I won by almost 3 seconds after running away with a much faster start than the rest of the field. It was a low SR, DR B lobby.Congrats!

On a different subject/rant:
Sometimes, I wish players would stop racing at the start. Be mindful of your cold tyres and let us not lose contact with the leader or leaders. Nope! I must defend and block and squeeze and do everything in my powe rto not drop a spot or take that spot ahead. Jeez. It's the first three turns. Work together, to stay with the leader!
Wait. You use traction control on dirt tracks?![]()

To be fair, if you watch F1, the guy who gets out in front often stays in front, so it's a mentality of get out in front, stay in front. Also, everyone wants to be at the front so they're fighting to get there not realising that patience can often pay dividends.Yup.
I think it's a bit weird that some people fight so hard to get ahead of someone else when they can just focus on finishing the race in the fastest time possible. By being in the back, they often already have a pace disadvantage, and they don't help themselves by fighting more than necessary in the early stages.
I think the only times when they should be fighting at all is if both drivers think that it'll bring them closer to that optimal run. Otherwise, they're just wasting time.
I've never used TCS on rally tracks. Never found it useful. You can turn it off in the dailies once you're on track, can't you? Or is it locked??Don't forget it's automatically set. Tractionwise the dirt tyres are fine and don't need TCS. The only slip is sideways and stop. PD has it set to 1 naturally rather than 3 so they must agree. I've never felt I've needed it but others may do.
There's no real META in Race B & C. So, look like players, in my races, are trying to win BEFORE T1.Don't forget it's automatically set. Tractionwise the dirt tyres are fine and don't need TCS. You forget that whilst most players have a passing interest in racing most will not realise this point or the sprint nature of the races makes them put it to the back of their minds.

Need to give the Golf a nickname. It's worse than the GT-R at corner exit acceleration. Just a hair too much throttle... OFF YOU GO! Darts left, right, riiiiIIIIIght, left , left. It's like that opening scene in Ace Ventura, after he returns that puppy to its female owner.

This I don't get. I have no idea if I have any trophies at all, or if i do, wich ones. They really are inconsequential to meIt seems to most it is a game which like a lot of games on the Playstation have very poor rules or directions. The passing interest many have is to accumulate the trophies needed and move on.
